Total chaos from start to finish. Clown Show. Visited this location during a quick breakfast run. Right off the bat, it was total chaos in expediting orders it was a complete mess behind the counter. I placed my order at the counter, then headed to the second location to pick up. After waiting 5 minutes, an employee asked, "Sir, how can I help you?" Turns out, they hadn't even entered my order into the system to be cooked. Finally, my order came out... partially. I was still missing a bottle of OJ. A young lady vanished to hunt one down, only for the manager to send a different employee to grab it from the drive-thru cooler minutes later I think that first young lady is still searching...never saw her again Service was disorganized and incompetent; save your time and sanity elsewhere. read more

Ok...What in the world is going on with Panera Bread bagels?? And I might add, they've been bad at 3 different locations in Houston. They taste awful!! Let me begin by saying I have bought these by the "Bakers Dozen" for YEARS! ... I've been a huge fan of them and spent so much money bringing these to events. I will say I have not bought any in a really long time and recently brought a Bakers Dozen to my son who lives on the southside of Houston. He said they quit buying bagels at their Panera in Pearland, because they tasted so strange. He was excited to have some from the Atascocita location. Sadly they were inedible. So I thought today that I would just give our Kingwood location a try. I bought a Cinnamon Crunch Bagel and unfortunately it had an underlying sour taste, ... and then on top of it, it tasted like the oven they were heated in gave it a chemical taste. Just beyond strange. The service was good, however the dining area is not as nice as it used to be. I really hate this because I've always loved this place. I've been to this Panera Bread location several times...and it never disappoints...the food is really good without being heavy...which makes it a great choice whether you're stopping in for breakfast...lunch...or dinner. On this visit...I tried the breakfast croissant meal...and it was tasty and fresh...they also offer muffins and amazing cookies that are definitely worth grabbing...their lunch and dinner options are also delicious...with plenty of variety to choose from. The overall atmosphere is comfortable...and the consistency of the food keeps me coming back...I definitely recommend this place if you're looking for something tasty...light...and reliable. read more

Rude customer service. I was calling to see if they were open because of the weather. This dude answered and then i asked and he just stayed silent for a while as i could hear them talking in the back, then an older loud ass rude lady answers the phone. Just being rude and loud with me over all. The food is good but the customer service is rude sometimes. The drive thru always takes forever and forget items. Also on delivery orders they always seem to forget something. I love Panera but this location just completely ruins it. read more

The sandwich is fantastic. The bread is fantastic. The cookie is awesome.. but whatever plant this is providing the "snow" makes it unfortunate and uncomfortable if you wanted to sit outside and enjoy the weather this time of year the landscaper needs to cut that plant down.. tomorrow!!! read more

We had Panera for lunch earlier in the week and wanted a repeat for a Friday afternoon meeting. I ordered delivery and they arrived about 10 mins early. Excellent service and the order was correct. We ordered 4 cookies. Our entrees were very filling and not one complaint was had. We ordered the strawberry poppyseed salad with extra chicken, chicken Cobb salad, frontega chicken, grilled chicken and avocado blt and tuna sandwich kids meal. Not the best location. The drive thru wait time is about 20-30 minutes minimum. Food was okay for the price. I ordered the mac and cheese which comes with a side of bread, and they tossed it without any covering at the bottom of the bag. It was just sitting there, which made me lose my appetite for it. When they finally handed us the order after our 20-minute wait, they forgot our drinks, so we had to wait even more for the cashier to open the window. Another thing to note is that the lettuce tastes unwashed, one of the sandwiches we had to remove the lettuce completely because it had a weird taste. read more

the service is okay but not great. it felt like I was being judged by some girl with green hair the whole time i was ordering on the kiosk and when I went to sit down to wait I could feel the dirty glares from the staff at the counter. The atmosphere in the kitchen was tense and honestly I just wanted to gtfo of there. the dining room though had a great atmosphere. i could tell by looking around they were judging me because i had a American pin on my shirt, and i know that because four or five people ce in after me and they smiled at them more times i could count while i got death glares. watch out guys they really hate America in there! read more

I have been to this location several times a few problems here and there but yesterday was the final straw. When i came i just wanted to get a quick soup to go so i can be out of there quick and i was waiting and i see and hear the manager YELLLING at the customer for wanting the trash bin close because the flys were in there and getting on his food. this was march 4 around 7:30pm the customer was very understanding but the manager was being very difficult and was very angry over the customers request. read more

I pick up a breakfast to-go order for 6 people once a month here for their first available rapid pick up time slot: 6:15am. Without fail, every month there is something missing from my order. Today, it was a blueberry oatmeal. I stood in front of the pick up counter, hoping it was a quick fix. I was the only patron in the store. A few crew members stepped around me while I waited. It was then I heard two coworkers mock me from behind the serving counter- "Excuse me, ma'am, but we're trying to work here" "Get out of my f**ing way" If my order was correct and ready on time, we all wouldn't be unpleasant. I use the drive through, delivery and in person dining. I understand many of the workers are HS students who may be working their first job. However, on a consistent basis, parts of my order have been left out of my drive through order. When the order taker asks if you want bread, apple or chips with your order, one would expect that to be in the bag. I have also driven through and asked for a cookie to be added to my order, only to get home and find that my cookie wasn't included. This location really needs to step up it's game. I typically meet here for breakfast with co-workers because they have free WiFi. We always do our part and order breakfast since we are breathing their a/c and using the WiFi. However, the food on my last visit really didn't seem that fresh. Additionally, the bathrooms really needed to be cleaned. There were paper towels thrown on the floor and the trash can was running over. This was at 8:30am. It didn't look like it had been cleaned the night before. The bathroom also smelled like urine. Bottom line: At this location, I experienced sub-par food and dirty bathrooms. This is not a good location. Restaurant is not cleaned properly. The tables were dirty. Food was cleared but nothing wiped or cleaned. The staff are clueless about food allergies and are unaware of allergen menu. I wanted to check the Mexican Corn Soup and asked to see the allergen menu as I have gluten sensitivity. She told me they don't have one. I know this is not true. I asked if it had gluten and she said yes nothing here is gluten free. I have eaten at Panera and know I can eat there I just have to know what is in the food. The girl got the manager and said nothing is gluten free at this location they have bread. I actually looked at them and asked if they knew what gluten was. I would have just left but my daughter wanted to eat there. I ended up going online to check the ingredients and sure enough, it was gluten free so I ordered it. I feel that Panera in general has gone down in quality and customer service. My daughter's sandwich hardly anything in it. Unlikely to come back especially since I can buy the same thing at the supermarket across the street. read more

Horrible location!!! Apparently you have to complete your own order when ordering online according to the evening manager and his rude ass cashier. I had to go thru corporate in order to get the situation rectified as the manager at this location was so rude and in his feelings that he couldn't even think straight enough to correct the issue. Corporate did apologize on their behalf and offered discounts but this man and his staff are so despicable that I wouldn't care how many discounts I get I'm never stepping foot back in this establishment. Went through the drive-through this weekend. It was not busy at all at the time. I was the only one in the drive through and maybe two or three in inside. Awful service to put it mildly. The woman taking the order was audibly, obviously annoyed even though it was a very simple order for two people. We then drive up to the window, she doesn't make eye contact, doesn't engage at all, manages to take my money and then thrust my change and then the bag at me while ignoring me totally - her head was turned jamming her fingers on the register thing then talking (griping/gossiping by the tone of it) to a couple of co-workers who apparently had nothing better to do. She didn't bother with the basic "thank you" or "have a nice day," give us a smile, or even manage the absolute bare minimum of just simply acknowledging our presence. I've never in my life dealt with someone THAT rude in the drive though. People a bit apathetic, but at least trying? Sure, and I have sympathy for them, knowing they're probably exhausted or having a bad day. But this woman? She was beyond awful, there is no excuse for her attitude, and that's why I'm taking the time to write this. Hope management is paying attention. This was Saturday, Dec. 21 in the afternoon FYI. Let me be clear: I don't ever expect those in this job position to kiss my rear or be my buddy - but I absolutely expect someone who is the only face of the company during the drive through experience to at the very least muster up a tiny little bit of effort of being (or even just acting) courteous to the person giving money to your establishment. Additionally, to add insult to injury - the food was lukewarm, tasted "meh" -to fork over more than $20 for two meals with that low of quality is outrageous - definitely not up to par with my past experience with other Panera locations.
