Customer service is 4.5 stars and the food was 2.5. The gentleman that helped us out last night was so friendly. Very animated and just enjoyable to have at the register. He seemed very happy which in turn made me happy. I love when you have a genuinely friendly person helping you out. He was top notch. Food however was not as enjoyable. Panera is very simple food that you can make at home. It just didn't taste like homemade. Something always tastes processed to me when I order food here... Over to Panera Bread we went and this is what we ordered: Me- Broccoli Cheddar Soup (From their website) Chopped broccoli, shredded carrot and select seasonings simmered in a velvety smooth cheese sauce. It was great. Very nice! As advertised. Turkey Artichoke Panini Smoked turkey, spinach artichoke spread, Asiago-Parmesan cheese, tomatoes & caramelized onions, grilled hot on our Focaccia. Great sandwich, no complaints! She- Low-Fat Chicken Tortilla Soup Made with roasted corn and Poblano peppers, black beans and tomatoes seasoned with both ancho and chipotle chilies with hints of cumin and lime. Topped with tri-colored tortilla strips. She said it was warm and spicy. Perfect for a cold afternoon. Bacon Turkey Bravo Sandwich Smoked turkey breast, bacon, smoked Gouda, lettuce, tomatoes & our signature dressing, on our Tomato Basil bread. She liked it. I had a bite. It was a nice fresh sandwich. Expensive? I don't think so. It came out to $27.00 for everything. We both took home half a sandwich for lunch tomorrow. That's $6.75 per meal per person. I usually love Panera but my experience here was horrible. People go to Panera for their baked goods, right. So you can imagine my disappointment when the bread for my sandwich was soggy and not completely baked... My brother had a similar problem when the scone he ordered was doughy and wet in the middle. Tip: should get the panera card to earn points and receive offers/coupons. It's the only way to get discounts and value at this place. Perfect place for quick and light lunch. They have free wifi too. Food: 3-stars I always go for the soup and sandwich combo. For sandwich, the frontera chicken is a favorite. For soups, the tomato basil, and French onion soups are exceptional. Portions are on the smaller side so I usually get the soup in a bread bowl. They have a great bakery too. In general though, I do feel that it is overpriced. Service: 4 stars Food comes out real fast, and the staff is always friendly and courteous. No one bothers you even if you are just lounging around. I love going here for breakfast! its right next to my office and quick, but I have to say that they have terrible service!!!!!! I go often and more then less time I get the egg white and avocado sandwich, last time they put enough avocado fro 3 sandwiches it was gross. this time they put no egg, so I have 2 pieces of break with avocado. the manager did nothing " sorry when you come back next time we will get you something" he didn't enough offer me my money back when I paid for something clearly didn't receive! you should get better customer service! read more

Rapid Pick-Up is unreliable at this location. I would understand one time, or if the restaurant was busy. Today was the second time I've had to stand by the pick-up shelf for 25+ minutes after I placed the order. My food must have just been sitting out at their counter the entire time because the soup is cold. I won't be trying Rapid Pick-Up here a third time... Staff is polite and my order was correct. They seem to turn over orders at the cashier quickly, but they are incompetent with Rapid Pick-Up. read more

I used to enjoy Panera, but the quality and effort going into their food and establishment, in general, seems to be getting consistently worse: During one visit I noticed an employee cook my Tomato Mozzarella Panini in the same press she just cooked bacon slices in without cleaning it first. When I asked the manager to have her remake the panini, she was more than willing and reminded the employee that the press should be cleaned after each use; this rose a red flag for me. I don't think employees should have to be reminded of these things because they should be well aware of each customer's possible dietary restrictions. Another visit I decided to forgo the Panini, so I ordered the Asiago Cheese Bagel which I received with MOLD on it. Disgusting. So once again, I told the manager who seemed absolutely shocked and somewhat suspicious as to why there would be mold on their bagel. So she gave me a new one and insincerely apologized. -_- At my most recent visit and final visit I ordered a Caesar salad, which I figured would be a safe bet because I mean, HOW can you mess up a Caesar salad..... well Panera seemed to accomplish that. I got my half-assed $7 dollar salad. I ordered a Full and the salad only took up about half of the bowl. I had to ask for extra dressing to have the amount they SHOULD have put on in the first place and there was only about 5-7 croutons on the salad. This was the last straw. I really enjoy Panera Bread and one point came here waaaaaaaaaay too often. It's honestly not my favorite lunch/breakfast place, but it's a good quick-service food option. The cinnamon crunch bagels are yummy (though smaller than I remember). What truly stood out on my last visit, however, was the chocolate chip cookie. It was crispy on the edges, but still nice and chewy. This is rare with cookies that did not just come out of the oven. The sandwiches and salads aren't bad either! read more

I had heard about this place from my dad who was working on the east coast for a time. He likened it to Corner Bakery and yeah, he was right. I tried it for time last week and it tastes a lot better than Corner Bakery! I had the Turkey Bacon Bravo sandwich. It was delicious and tasted very fresh. Since then I have tried the creamy tomato soup...Mmmm, that was very good too. I wish I could go there everyday to try something new! My 2 yr old son loves the grilled cheese sandwich - it is made on wheat toast with organic american cheese. I have also tried the asiago cheese and 3-cheese bread loaves. They make a perfect breakfast, toasted with a little butter. I can't wait to go back and try something else! I am very eager to try the baked potato soup (it wasn't available the day I went). Why do I have to give this place 1 star? Is there anyway to give it zero stars? This place has horrible service because of under staffing, and they are way overpriced. Ryan, a manager there, knows what he is doing, but he's the only one who works hard to get your order right. On numerous occasions it has taken at least 15 minutes to order food and another 20 minutes to actually get the food. When I get the food, they hardly put any meat on it or screw up the order almost every time. The LAST TIME I went there, and its definitely the last time I'll be going there, I opened up the wrapping to my sandwich and there was a penny inside of the wrapping. THEY WRAPPED A PENNY IN MY SANDWICH!!! All I can say, is avoid this place. read more

This review is for catering. Alma, the catering manager, is a little hard to get a hold of, but she did a good job once I contacted her. The food was on time, well packaged, and tasted good. I got a lot of compliments on the meals being efficient and tasty. The cookies are huge and were a really nice touch. I was surprised with how big the salads were and how filling? Why four stars instead of five? I wish the catering prices were a little cheaper. She forgot to mention that tip would be expected and added as a line item (with the 15% suggested mentioned on the bottom calculated out). Frankly... it was a little excessive, but I paid it anyway. I'd rather that they add a larger delivery free upfront and not ask for gratuity. I ordered Freebirds boxed meals before and there was no tip asked for and no delivery free and they were about the same price per box, so all in all, it ended up being much cheaper. The other reason I marked it down is that the boxes were labeled, like "Mediterranean Veggie" and "Classic" but they didn't say SANDWICH or SALAD. Since the boxes are not see through and they are sealed, people stood around for a while trying to figure out if the classic was a salad or a sandwich. This slowed up the line a little. So, clearer wording would win them the extra star. :-) read more

Had to go to Northridge and picked up lunch for the family on the way back. Panera Bread is good. Their best item is their ... bread. I ordered a salad and a veggie sandwich plus mac and cheese. They advertised a shrimp and soba noodle salad all over the restaurant. But they were out of noodles so I was offered any other salad and chose another with shrimp. I had a large lemonade and it was perfect on a hot day. They also signed me up for their loyalty program when I was at the register. I wish there were more locations to make it useful. I placed a $200 catering order online for my office. The order usually includes juice, coffee, pastries, etc for our whole staff. Only one bag of bagels and pastries arrived. When my co-workers realized that only a small portion of the order was delivered hours later, Panera brought the balance breakfast of the order...three work days later. I even showed up a few minutes late to give them the benefit of the doubt. Asked if my order was ready, and they still hadn't put it in. Awesome. While the person at the counter did rush my order and offered a complimentary pastry, that doesn't aid the fact that my half sesame chicken salad did not come with dressing, and the half tuna sandwich had more lettuce than tuna, and the bread was soggy by the time I got to eat not long thereafter . I've been pretty disappointed by Panera as of late ... It seems like they've really gone downhill in the past 6 months or so. They were doing a "remodel" for months where there were paint splotches on the wall & stuff half-done, but I don't know what they did because everything looks the same! Lunch has been sub-par the past several times I've been in ... It's not a good place to do take-out for a sandwich, because when you get home, your sandwich is soggy! Blech ... I told this to the manager the next time I came in & kind of expected her to offer to comp the sandwich I was ordering since I couldn't even eat that one. Nope, her suggestion was to try a different bread. Um, ok. I like sourdough. I don't want a different bread, I want a sandwich that isn't soggy. Also, is it just me or did the prices go up? Just for one person for lunch (and I get the 2 for 2 deal & a lemonade) is almost $15. That's insane. The last time I stopped in there to grab some bread for dinner, it was around 2pm & the line was to the door with 2 people working the register. I waited for about 5 minutes, the line didn't move, so I ended up leaving. Parking has gotten really bad in that lot, too. I hope Panera can turn it around ... read more

I really like this place. It's a great place to grab lunch and catch up with friends, and to study / do paperwork. They have a good variety of soups, pastas, salads, sandwiches, etc. And are always adding new things to the menu. Everything I've tried there has been good. I usually get the pasta / soup combo and order depending on my mood. They also have self serve iced teas and iced coffee next to the fountain drinks (a huge perk if you're there to study or work).
