As a former Panera Manager, I am compelled to hold any and every Panera at the same standards that the employees should be kept at. I am also one to have a better sense of just how the cafe should be run. This Panera has quite a bit of work to do. My study group came by on a Sunday afternoon expecting a fun, relaxing environment to enjoy some good food with wi-fi. We did not get that. We all experienced terribly slow wi-fi, and looking around the cafe, only one or two other tables were actually using wi-fi. What gives? The signs say "high speed internet available". I went up to order a few items for my group, including a hot tea, chocolate chip cookie, and orange cranberry scone. The cashier, Lexy, had a terrible attitude, giving off the "I hate this job, I don't want to be here" attitude along with the "why are you bothering me at the job I'm clearly supposed to do" attitude. After paying, she basically tossed the receipt onto the counter in front of me. When she was grabbing bags, she verified with me "cookie and scone" and yet she gave me muffins. I didn't notice until I got back to the table, so when I got back she questioned me saying "I thought you said muffin" If I said muffins why would I be coming back . .anyways, she replaced my items, but man was that cookie rock hard! Whoever the baker is needs to cut back on the bake time because the cookie basically crumbled to dust. When I went to get my tea, the water was almost out and none of the coffees had been replenished. Granted I didn't get coffee, but I know they need to be changed every hour even if they have not been consumed, and these coffees have not been changed since 11:30AM - it was past 1:00pm by then. As we sat at our table too, all the tables around us were filthy, between food on the tables, napkins, plates, and not once did any employee clean them. We even saw two employees return to the same area (either to deliver food or just to check on the tables) and not once did they take a dirty plate or return with a towel to clean the tables. I feel obligated to commend the staff at this establishment. Each time I visit this particular location, I am greeted with friendliness, warmth, and positivity. Everyone, from the cashier, the server, and the cleaning crew, is professional, welcoming, polite, and well-mannered. Well this blows!! Let me start off by saying I hate leaving bad reviews but it was uncomfortable the whole time I was here. This poor girl helping me knew nothing unfortunately I asked what was in a salad , she responded with let me ask my manager Then I asked if they honored the military discount which I reviewed there before, she said she didn't know. I would say as far as my experience goes at Panera bread it was if anything okay at best The food was hot which was nice but the flavors are very bland unfortunately and for the amount that they really charge nowadays I cannot say that it's really worth the dollar I would say to honestly go somewhere else even though the customer service there is top-notch the flavors do not match read more

First review for 2016! Why not start with an establishment that involves a place that attracts plenty of traffic on a daily. Here you will find efficient and friendly staff and service. Prices are as usual, when you come here. Plenty of seating through the restaurant. And when you order a fountain drink, it's unlimited refills. Anytime it's unlimited and combined with refills, you can't go wrong. When I typically come here I go with their paninis with half salad combo. Plenty for what you pay for and you will definitely leave satisfied. I definitely see myself coming back here, and look forward to my next trip. I recommend the broccoli cheddar soup with a side of bread, or the "You Pick Two" to pick a combo of items. They also have seasonal items on their menu. Customer service is always great here; friendly people who make sure your order is right and are willing to answer your questions. One time I really wanted their pack of cookies sold by the registers but they were sold out. My cashier informed me that you can preorder a pack by calling Panera and the baker will fix you a batch to pick up the next day. I will admit that Panera is not the place I would go unless someone suggests going. For what you get the price is a bit steep and most likely can get something similar or in larger quantity for the exact amount. (It's always good to have leftovers IMO) Despite the lack of initiation of going as a recommendation, I still believe that Panera is a great choice to visit during our lunch breaks. A sandwich that I do recommend getting is the Bacon Turkey Bravo. Evenly distributed, the sandwich consist of smoked turkey breast, bacon, smoked Gouda, lettuce, tomatoes with a nice touch of a creamy dressing. Not to mention the bread is actually really good. They put way too much mustard on the sandwich, and it just didn't taste good. My hubby got a chicken sandwich that was thin and hardly any chicken inside. Don't get me wrong, the bread was great, it was the stuff inside that was horrible. I got an apple as a side, the apple was tiny and tasted funky. Doing this one-star review is quite rare for me. I'm like Mikey, I'll eat anything - and this I just couldn't stomach. Just be aware that when you go in there paying $7.00 for a meal that you probably won't get your money's worth. This panera bread isn't the closest location to me, but I needed something quick before a 7:00 showing at the Pacific theaters across the street and this was it. I ordered the you pick 2 combo with a 1/2 turkey and avocado sandwich with a Cesar salad. The salad was ok, but most of the croutons were stale. At first they were goos, but towards the bottom of the bowl they got worse and harder. The sandwich was good, so at least I had that. There is both outdoor and indoor seating, which makes it a nice spot to go to. It is also convenient to order from the panera app, so I suggest ordering for rapid pick up if you are in a hurry. The line was 3 people long when I got in, but it moved quickly. I am a firm believer that consistency is key. With Panera Bread, they have been consistently terrible at any location I've visited. I don't eat Panera often at all, but my coworkers were picking up lunch from this location and I figured, "why not?" I sent in a rapid order from their website, and ordered a veggie sandwich with minor modifications (no cheese, adding spinach and arugula, and subbing in a different sauce). The sandwich was repulsive, to say the least. I opened it up to see, and the sauce looked like it was haphazardly squirted onto the sandwich without being spread out. It was stuffed full of arugula, which had been soaked in said sauce. The bread had become soggy and disgusting. The lettuce in the sandwich was LITERALLY an uncut stalk of romaine lettuce. Every aspect of this damn sandwich was prepared with such little care that it was inedible. The salad I ordered had exactly two slices of tomato, three slices of cucumber. I wish I had taken photos, it would have been laughable if I hadn't spent my money on it. Basically a box of lettuce with trickles of vegetables. Ordering from here was my mistake. Months ago, I ordered a salad from here and found bits of turkey in the salad - I do not eat animal products at all so I couldn't eat it. Cross contamination is illegal, no? Regardless, that was disgusting. If I'm picking up lunch to bring back to my job, it's impossible for me to go back and ask to have my food re-prepared (not that I even wanted to eat their food after that). When I get off from work, Panera is already closed. So I'm put in a position where I waste my hard-earned money on inedible food, with no way of returning it. I ordered an iced coffee, too. Almost $5 for a small coffee. I could have ordered a large iced coffee from Starbucks for less than $3. Please do not eat here. It is not worth it.
