The food is fine. I asked for the code to enter the bathroom. Why they have to lock the bathroom doors in the subject for another day. I asked for the bathroom code and they gave me the codes for both the men's and ladies bathrooms. I ask why they gave me the ladies code. They said because they do not have gender neutral bathrooms so I am free to use whichever one I feel comfortable in. Is this the world we live in now? read more

Free coffee during the lunch rush! Anyone can come in and join the coffee queue and complain how they haven't received their coffee in time! A lady will come up to you in person and make your order right as you ask, good thing I paid for my coffee in advance because it looked like she didn't check if I bought anything at all. read more

More personnel dedicated solely!!! to the front counter is needed, especially on M-F (Mornings). People are walking out because the line is too long. Kiosks do not work efficiently for coffee & counter items and now with drive-up / pick- up, this should of happened long ago. Tables need to be placed in front of the pastry item display so to keep people at a distance. People taller than 5'8 stand over the partition and look down onto the baked goods and drool. Another area is at the kiosks so to separate the containers with coffee from customers less than 3 feet away using the kiosks. I went in the other morning, for a cup of Joe. It had taken this cashier, 5 minutes to take an order. People were waiting in line, and only one person working the register. First time here and I was starving! This was my first meal since eating 14 tamales Christmas Day ( yes! I'm a beast). I can honestly say everyone is friendly and service is on point like Cp3. I ordered my self a sweet BBQ chicken flatbread with a ceaser salad, and the food presentation was amazing. The food was really good! Idk if I was too excited to try it, but didn't turn out as good as I expected, like my girlfriends cooking haha. Don't get me wrong it's GOOD but not great. It's like comparing Mariah Carey now to her in the 90's! I wouldn't mind a piece of her now, but the 90's was primetime! Good place to eat lunch. Their "pick 2 special" is a good deal, you can get half a sandwich and a small cup of soup. I recently had the bread bowl with chicken noodle soup and it came with a choice of their chips/bread or apple. PANERA GAVE ME FOOD POISONING. on Saturday afternoon I decided to get Panera for lunch before studying the whole day for my organic chem midterm on Tuesday. But when I got my sandwich (the steak & white cheddar panini) it had these pale red strings on it that tasted very bad/stale & I even tried peeling them off but the whole sandwich was drenched in that taste. Then right when I get home I felt very sick (nauseous & can't eat anything) and THE NEXT 2 DAYS I had body aches, fatigue, fever, loss of appetite, vomiting & cramps. My midterm in Organic Chemistry is on Tuesday & I wasted 2 days crying in pain. A simple mistake with onions can possibly cost me this exam grade & whether I pass this class. read more

Why did they move the to-go shelves behind the counter? It defeats the purpose of ordering to-go if I have to wait for a cashier to grab my already made order. I really liked the honor system and never had any issues with having my order taken by someone else. I also docked a star because they're really expensive for pasta and I had a bad experience one morning where the employee said they ran out of big to-go bowls so they put my large order in a small bowl and said "it's the same thing, just in a different bowl", but I paid for a $10 large order so it's not the same thing. read more

Why on a Friday afternoon at 12 noon would they not have any Broccoli Cheddar soup? A week ago I came they ran out of flat bread....how is this possible? I have been here twice ever. My first time here, it smelled so badly, O changed my mind immediately. And didnt order anything. Today, I came in praying it would be better this time. Their customer service defies any logical explanation: Almost every single time I am buying products from them, they create problems. They don't respect the online orders, they don't follow up with complains, they overcharge credit cards (last time they charged me 6 times for one purchase and they would have left it like that if the credit company wouldn't flag it!) The way they cut the bread is ridiculous: squished and doughy already in the bag, with corners thrown out; thin cut instead of thick, etc. After the last disaster they did with my credit card, I promise myself I will never return to this store. read more

Didn't hate it like I didn't love it they're things I feel have a plain taste to them. It was perfect for the very ill day I was having but wouldn't go here for pleasure eating(what I would call it). Nothing beats the smell of a freshly baked loaf of bread... unless you're at Panera. You don't get that freshly baked bread smell as you enter the place. Kind of a disappointment.... Pretty weak selection... I believe they had 6-8 different types of bread. Everything else was exactly the same, except the size was different. The prices were insane. My favorite was a .99 cent bagel that becomes $2.58 if you add cream cheese to it. LOL Apparently they never heard of using gloves when they give you your bread. Despite my hesitation I returned to this Panera. Big disappointment. Disinterested employees (except for one that actually cared that my soup spoon was dirty.) Looked right into another employee's eyes while asking her a question & she looked so bored & didn't bother answering. Bossman bought us lunch on Saturday and I am a fan let me tell you what. I got the Mediterranean sandwich (with no feta). Came on sundried tomato bread which was so soft and moist - it was soooo good. I typically hate cucumbers on my sandwich but these cucumbers were MARINATED. Panera's not f'kn around. Also on the sandwich was red bell pepper, lettuce and something else that I can't remember. The condiments were jalapeno hummus and I added (and so glad that I did) sundried tomato/artichoke pesto. My sandwich was to die for. And came in a little brown bag as if mom had packed my lunch, complete with a sticker that said my name and a bag of chips. Love it. I've recently begun to appreciate soup more and Panera had a great selection of unique soups - all of which were labelled whether or not they were vegetarian. Super helpful! I recently visited this location with my daughter and upon ordering, I reached for my wallet only to realize I had left it on the counter at home. Embarrassed, I apologetically explained that I would have to return due to the circumstance. With a short pause the person behind the register, ENRIQUE said, " well, how about...this one is on me". Wow, how cool? I was fully prepared to return And pay for out meal, however this kind was truly appreciated because we were HUNGRY! Ugh. No offense to people who like Panera but i think it's fucking crap. I do nottttt understand why so many people like it. And i feel realllllllllly bad because my cousins husband is the District Manager, haha. I love him, but i'm sorry to say i hate Panera. Ridiculously overrated. It's barely even a notch above Corner Bakery. I love the concept, i just wish it was actually good. I'm not sure if one of the requirements to work at any Panera Bread is that you need to be an idiot, but everyone who works at any Panera that i've gone to seems to be. I mean, they're really nice, don't get me wrong, but they ALWAYS get my order wrong. And almost everyone i know who comes here agrees with me. Now, i do feel bad giving it only one star, since i do like the feel of the place and their breads and bagels are half way decent. But as for the actual food, it's not impressive or memorable. And definitely overpriced for what you are actually getting. Plenty of other places i'd rather go instead...unfortunately they're all on Ventura Blvd. Haha. I've come to this panera a couple of times and you guys should know that this place should get an "F" for cleanliness, every time I go I see dirty plates on tables, food on the floor, ice on the floor by the fountain drinks.
