I like this place. The food is really tasty. I think all of the meat is cooked well because the texture is crispy enough and not too chewy or soggy. And I especially like how they try to cram in as much food as will possibly fit into the container. It makes me feel like I'm getting the most bang for my buck. The last time I was there, the lady looked liked she was struggling to get the lid to seal because she had just packed it with so much extra chicken. It made me happy. Should have given the eight dollars to one of the homeless folks on the nearby corner. The Kung Pow Chicken was nasty. No peanuts, canned baby corn that tasted canned, chicken was tough and chewy. I think the chicken may have been breaded before being thrown into the wok. The chow-mein was good but the chicken and vegetables ruined the whole thing. This place used to be First China Kitchen, which was a wonderful classic Chinese takeout place. I'd been going to first China kitchen since I was maybe 7 or 8 years old, idk. Anyway, last year it got bought, or rebranded or whatever, to panda wok. I was a bit skeptical, but gave it a try. My First experience was about two months ago and it was on par with First China Kitchen, so that was good. I went by tonight and they have a few new items including rice noodles, which were super good. The ladies that made the plates were actually friendly too, which is very different experience from First China. This place has really stepped it up, and I will be coming back often. I'm so glad to have another local take out place! read more

This Chinese restaurant has recently changed owners. The food is a little different from the previous owners. The inside has been redone and it seems the choices are all in the steam table and you have a choice of one, two or three items which includes rice and chow mein, either fried rice or steamed. I ordered the chicken and green bean and the teriyaki chicken. The teriyaki had a nice grilled flavor but there was a few pieces that had cartilage from the joint which was a little gross but the teriyaki was very good. The green beans were very tender and good and had a nice flavor. My partner got the orange chicken which was a little dry and the bbq pork both had little flavor. The orange chicken lacked that tangy taste and it was soggy. The bbq pork was also bland. Also the food could have been hotter. We only live 5 min away and it didn't seem hot enough which worries me being it was in the steam table. On the plus side they give generous portions enough to share. They did have a sign on the door advertising for a cook. The employees were really nice and the place is very clean. read more
