What a wonderful Italian restaurant this is. I have ate here a few times and its always delicious. I did take out and the chicken Milanese dish was just as tasty as it would be if I were eating at the restaurant.

This is a tough one. It's a 3 1/2 but I'll bump it up to 4 as more things were good than not. ENTRANCE - there was a hostess that greeted us inside and checked our COVID credentials. You have a choice to sit inside or outside as they took the parking in front and converted it to seating. AMBIANCE - the inside is very nice and modern looking. There are 15+ tables inside with ample spacing apart. They have a cool oven in the back to make pizza - which they make quite a few of. I didn't try their pizza but it seems very popular. WAITER - there was a bit of a rush when we came and I was impressed that the bartender jumped in to take orders etc. MENU - it was lunch time so there were adequate choices across the board. For gluten-free customers they can easily accommodate a pasta swap so no worries. APPETIZERS - the shrimp cocktail was very good. The clams casino was excellent. I had the rice balls that were unusually interesting. They had peas, corn, meat and mozzarella cheese that provided a great bite. Only down side was that they were cooked a little too long so the outside was really super dark brown. ENTREES - the risotto with mushrooms was very good. The pasta and meat sauce was good but not stellar. I had the veal Marsala that was good. The Marsala sauce was light and very flavorful. The only drawback was the veal was a bit stringy. Overall the food was good to very good. SERVICE TIME - there was a little bit of a lunch crowd for Monday. Even so it took a while to get our orders out of the kitchen. CUSTOMER SERVICE - the staff was friendly but couldn't spend much time with you and it must be tough dealing with inside and outside tables. PRICE - this place is a solid $$$$ as the bill for 3 people without drinks, taxes, and before tips was $230

Paola Osteria is a family style Italian restaurant. Food are supposed to be shared with family and friends. The salad with avocado, beet and greens are the best salad I had for quite a while. If you are there. You have to order this. You will be amazed by it. Pastas are great like made by grandma. Clams are so fresh and juicy. There is no wrong if you are in the area and like to have Italian Go to this restaurant and enjoy the your meal.

Brunch is the best. Great value. We also ordered the seafood pasta with lobster. Not worth it for $40. Portion was small. The half lobster is also small. We were surprised looking at the check as every item was more than its price. The check was dropped without any explanation. When asked, the waiter said "we have a new system", which don't explain the price difference. When asked again we were told that's the price is we pay via credit card. They are automatically making the patron pay for the credit card fee! WITHOUT INFORMING THE CUSTOMER!!! I asked, what if I am paying cash? This I'll is not correct. Our waiter then said they would ring another bill. Never heard about such a thing. We suggest they should put this surcharge on the menu, or at least let the customer know. I don't think the will do it.

A nice place, with yummy food, good & quick service, close to Guggenheim Museum and not too far from The Metropolitan.

Every bite was wow. From the shrimp cocktail being perfectly fresh and big nice shrimps with delicious cocktail sauce, the the Caesar salad with awesome little breadcrumbs. The apps were perfect. Moving on the entrees we had the eggplant parm which was the star of the show the sauce and taste was to die for. The chicken was so right in every way, subtle yet satisfying. Great balance!!! Lastly we shared the Tartufo which has an exquisite white chocolate outer shell and was the perfect way to complete a 10/10 meal!!!

Even if we wouldn't have gotten a window table and it wasn't Christmas, the vibes and interior of this place would have still been great. We went in December night of 2024 so some aspects of the menu have changed however, most of the dishes still appear to be on their menu as of now, June 2026. It appears most changes comes to the type of pasta used in a dish, aspects around a dishes main focus and gelato/dessert flavors. Everything we ordered was an 8 or above out of 10. The beet salad (BARBABIETOLE) is easily 10/10 and a top 3 salad we have ever had. The chocolate cake with gelato (TORTINO DI CIOCCOLATO) was 10/10 and the best dessert we had at Da Andrea. We ordered 3 total, including the ricotta cheesecake and tiramisu. Tuna Tartare, gorgonzola pasta and bolognese are 9's. The fritto misto, the other pasta we ordered and the other 2 desserts are 8's. If you're in New York make reservations and go. My Wife found this place and made reservations. Only thing I regret after looking at additional photos is not ordering the grilled pork chop.

I only had a late lunch because I wasn't super hungry, but what I had was pretty tasty. Honestly, I was inspired to write this review for the salad lol. The INSALATA VERDE, was freaking incredible. UGH. So fresh and the flavors were perfect. I also got a pasta, CAVATELLI ALLO SCOGLIO, but sadly wasn't that into it. All of the flavors were good, I just think it didn't come together in a way that my taste buds enjoyed lol. But I can't say it was nasty, just not my vibe. Overall was a great visit, and a great location for a cute lunch in the city, especially if you're near the highline! Oh! And I can't forget the cute little welcome wine that they have in the elevator. It's only on the second floor, but it was a nice experience.

The salad had a unique, slightly bitter flavor that was unexpected but surprisingly delicious and well-balanced. My steak was the only disappointment. I ordered it medium, but it was cooked well done. Despite that, the quality of the food and overall experience were still very good. I didn't get a chance to try dessert, but the dessert menu looked incredible and definitely gave me a reason to come back. Overall, I enjoyed my meal and will definitely be returning.

The pasta was al dente perfection and most importantly there were generous sauce portions. Our waiter was attentive, friendly, and personable. I dined with a friend and we ordered 3 pastas instead of an appetizer (fantastic choice). We tried the following dishes: *Garganelli Mushroom Ragu and Ricotta Salata. This was by far our favorite dish. It was bursting with flavor, had tons of sauce and cheese and was perfectly cooked. If you enjoy mushroom you MUST order this!! *Tagliatelle Bolognese Bianco (Chicken, Veal, Pork) and Parmigiano. Which was so delicious and has plenty of meat and sauce. The tagliatelle was amazing and tasted to fresh. *Bucatini with Pancetta, Tomato, Chilies and Pecorino. We thought this was good but our least favorite dish of the 3. Honorable mention to the spaghetti that my friend had at her last visit. She said it was fresh and delicious but almost too rich which she mostly owned to it being a white sauce.

We started with the housemade focaccia and Wagyu carpaccio--both were outstanding, with the perfect balance of crispy, flavorful, and fresh elements. We finished with the famous olive oil cake, which we loved for its subtly sweet, moist and tender bite. Served with lightly whipped cream and raisins, the combination was surprisingly delicious. We were also touched by the complimentary anniversary scoop of ice cream. The interior seating is a bit snug, but the decor is beautiful--elegant yet homey. The service was good as well. Overall, we highly recommend L'Artusi for a special night out!

Water and excellent bread arrived immediately and the waiter was helpful describing dishes and giving advice. Salads were fresh and crisp. Caesar was nicely dressed and the mixed salad was a nice combination with well balanced herb vinaigrette. Seafood dishes had large amounts of fresh seafood and the veal picatta had the lemony flavor you expect without excessive acidity. Dessert was tasty and innovative. The ricotta based cheese cake wasn't as smooth as the cream cheese form but the citrus flavor was great. I read the reviews mostly good so I was hoping for the best. My friends and I were not disappointed. The first thing I noticed was there were 7 people in my party and 4 arrived early and did not have to wait for my arrival to be seated. Second the waiter who took our order was polite and on point with specials and knowledge of the menu. He (just never caught his name) suggested the Rigatoni which chicken and sausage. I am not really a pasta eater but baby that dish could change that; it was DELICIOUS. I even liked the anchovy dressing on my Caesar Salad and I dislike anchovies. All the dishes ordered (chicken parm, mussels chicken paillard etc.) everyone enjoyed them immensely. The only negative was when the Chicken Paiikard arrived it was supposed to a shared dish by the elderly couple and they asked for regular dinner plates from one of the servers. It took the gentleman who took our order to step in and said sure, lucky their food was still hot. Common Sense is not so common for all. But this will not lower my rating as it was taken care of swiftly. The portions were the perfect size and I was not stuffed but pleasantly satified. We told them the time of our show, food was out quickly, nicely presented, still hot and very tasty. The restaurant was not noisy and had space between the tables. It also had an elevator for those who could not manage stairs. Trattoria Trecolori you will be added to my must go again list! Thank for a wonderful experience!
