I'm deeply disappointed and distressed by a recent experience at PAPPAS. During my visit for my bachelorette party on August 10, 2024 I noticed an extremely hateful message written on the bottle service sign requested by the nearby table, which included a derogatory remark against the LGBTQ+ community. This appalling and unacceptable message was requested by a group that ordered bottle service specifically to insult us and was allowed to remain visible without any intervention from the staff. My party and I were respectfully having a great time when the party that ordered the sign began to get aggressive with a female in my group. My husband rightfully defended her from a stranger who was making her uncomfortable. Despite our efforts to handle the situation appropriately, the hateful sign was allowed to come out, and our party was wrongfully kicked out of the establishment. I expect a welcoming and respectful environment for all guests, regardless of their background or identity. The presence of such a message not only disrespects and dehumanizes members of the LGBTQ+ community but also creates an atmosphere of intolerance and hatred. This is entirely contrary to the values of inclusivity and respect that any reputable business should uphold. Additionally, after the message was displayed and we were clearly offended, an employee asked my husband, "Well, are you gay?" as if that justified the statement. This was extremely inappropriate and only added to our distress. I hope you take this into consideration as you address the issue. I urge the management to take immediate and decisive action to address this matter, including investigating how this incident was allowed to occur, implementing stricter policies and training for staff to prevent similar occurrences in the future, and ensuring that PAPPAS is a safe and welcoming space for all guests. Title: Ruined My Husband's Birthday - A Complete Disaster I wish I could give this place zero stars. What was supposed to be a joyous celebration for my husband's birthday turned into an absolute nightmare thanks to this low-class establishment and their incompetent staff. We made a reservation for a party of 16 at 10 PM. Upon arriving on time, we were told the wait would be just a few minutes and asked to wait at the bar. The bar area was a complete disaster: overcrowded, low ceilings, and narrow spaces where you couldn't stand without being bumped into by waiters and other patrons. The atmosphere was chaotic and uncomfortable from the start. After half an hour of waiting, we inquired about our table, only to be fed excuses and blatant lies about them "trying to get the table ready." Finally, we asked to speak to the manager, and that's when the unprofessionalism reached a whole new level. The manager accused us of being late (a complete lie) and had the audacity to blame us for their disorganization. When we calmly refuted their false claims, the manager became belligerent and escalated the situation unnecessarily. But it gets worse. Instead of resolving the issue, the bouncer intervened and assaulted me, physically pushing me in an aggressive and unwarranted manner. My husband and son had to step in to stop the bouncer's disgusting behavior. The lack of professionalism and respect from both the staff and management is appalling. They not only ruined my husband's birthday celebration but also left us stranded without any other options at such a late hour. This establishment is an absolute joke, riddled with incompetence, lies, and aggressive staff who think bullying customers is acceptable. If you're considering dining here, DON'T. Save yourself the frustration, disrespect, and disappointment. This place deserves to be shut down for their behavior. Avoid it at all costs. read more

The "crispy pita" served with the tuna tartare was overcooked, making it hard and basically inedible. The overall flavor with the tuna was also lacking. Despite ordering an entree that was supposed to come with pita bread, only one of my three friends received it. Multiple reminders to the waiter and it still never arrived. The service was inattentive and disorganized. While the atmosphere featured lively music and a belly dancer, the interior was lacking.
