Got here around 7:30 on a Monday & it really wasn't too busy at all. We got seated, ordered and got our food about 15 minutes later. The interior is pretty small & there's only really like one lady walking around serving all the tables, so the service is as good as it's going to get -- she was pretty attentive and filled up our water and etc, but we honestly didn't need too much anyways! We ordered the vegetable dim biryani, butter chicken and garlic naan! The vegetable naan doesn't look like much, you obvi gotta mix it together to get all the yummy spiced veggies at the bottom! It came with this spicy brown gravy + raita of course! The butter chicken was a lot sweeter than I expected, but still really good! The garlic naan was extreeeeemely buttery, i could smell it as she placed it down on the table! I wish the naan was a little thicker because you really gotta order two bc one person can definitely take a single round piece of naan to themselves. Our total was ~33 before tip! Went there for the first time on a recommendation. I thought the food was excellent (some of the best indian food I'd had in a long time, actually) and there was almost no wait time until our food arrived! The waiter, Nehal, was very engaging and helped us select dishes so we could get two that didn't have overlapping flavors. I got butter chicken and the other people I was with got another chicken dish that included clove spices. It was different that anything I'd had before and really complimented the butter chicken. The other guests I was with were from the Phillipines and engaged with Nehal right away, he knew several words in Tagalog which was fun. I will definitely be back for another visit. read more

As an establishment and safety to the people you serve, you need to disclose if what your food is made of. Other places says if their food has nuts or seafood. Yours does not. Your butter chicken didn't state that it was made with cashews. My son had a severe allergic reaction and I had to give him Epipen. And shame on Doordash for not allowing me to enter his allergies in comments. I'm not sure if that option is Doordash or your restaurant. Regardless, yes, it is my responsibility to ask. But when I called you to tell you that, putting the blame on me and telling me that I shouldve called? So should I call to ask if you spit in my food? You should disclose what you make and serve. Came here in a rush to grab something substantial for lunch before dashing to a movie matinee. The menu looked good so we thought we'd give it a try. Lots of takeout orders but we sat in to eat. Nice booths and not many people yet when we arrived around 12noon. It started filling up when we left 1/2 hour later. We got the special Paradise fish curry and the interesting baby eggplant dish. A side of rice and garlic naan to boot. Every was amazing! Not your usual run-of-the-mill Indian flavors but even better! Wow we couldn't stop commenting to each other with each bite we took. Butter Chicken- The chicken was tender, unlike most butter chickens I encountered. There was a generous amount of chicken and the sauce was sweet, thick, and tomato based. Mirapakai kodi is good but personally not a fan of peppers with Indian spicy chicken. The flavors are authentic, the spices teleports you to home. Every time I go to my sister's, they usually get to-go biriyani from this spot. So every time I've tried it, it's been great. The flavors are on point with the spice, well cooked rice, and perfectly cooked chicken. It's not overly spicy either just enough for the seasoning to come out. I believe you can ask for spicier if you want to. I would say that the chicken gravy and raita (white yogurt dip) it comes with is a bit small, especially for the portion and someone who loves more sauces. The gravy however is not too greasy adds a great blend to the biriyani. The raita itself has flavor but is watered down to much. Other than that, I'd come back to try their other dishes. This place is easily the best consistent Biryani chain in the Bay Area. The Chicken Dum Biryani is delicious and although we have had a few misses, it's our default choice given the number of times the Biryani has tasted delicious. I'd also recommend their Chinese and Kebab options as an alternative to Biryani. Given the high foot traffic for takeout orders, I'm not sure if I'd like to dine in. They are pretty efficient with takeout orders, however at times the wait time is quite high given their volume of orders. read more
