This is our go to for a quick chicken, goat or paneer biryani. I gave it a four because we do enjoy their biryanis and their fried fish. The flavor is just spot on, street food tasty! We also enjoy their garlic and butter naan and mango lassi.. This restaurant has multiple locations in the bay area. Manager in Mowry is helpful and nice but staff are a typical fast food type, may come across as rude sometimes when they get busy. Frankly speaking, I am not a biryani person but I only like this. I am a big fan of paradise biryani. We ordered more than 50 times and we always enjoyed it. I like the spices they are using, quality and quantity of it. Paneer tikka masala tests so good. I can feel the fresh test of paneer. Not much spicy. Kids also enjoyed it. Garlic and butter naan were very soft. We also tried their CHILLI PANEER, GOBI MANCHURIAN, GOBI 65, CHILLI GARLIC STREET NOODLES, MALAI KOFTA and KADAI PANEER. It was okay too. Idk....I ordered via DOORDASH and was not impressed. We ordered the chicken 65, CTM and this tandoori chicken. We requested medium spicy and two dishes were too spicy. The tandoor chicken was sooo salty. I'm not sure if we ordered on a wrong day or what? Since this place has good reviews now I feel very nauseous writing this... I highly enjoy eating at Paradise Biryani Pointe. My experience here has been pretty good on average, except for the sometimes slow service waiting for a server to come take your order and last night when there was a long hair in my dad's food :( Garlic naan is on point! SOFT. Fluffy. Fresh. Chewy garlic goodness. They do a great job of applying the right amount of garlic to their naans. Your taste buds will be pleased. The Chicken 65 is actually kind of spicy. In a good way. If you're used to eating dishes with a decent amount of spice, you'll enjoy the kick this appetizer serves. Hariyala Tandoor Chicken Kebab. Very green. Literally. Made me think of Dr. Seuss' Green Eggs and Ham haha. The green color comes from spinach I think. This dish comes out hot and steaming, so be careful you don't burn your tongue! Tasty. Would order again. Butter Chicken. I would recommend getting it. I usually order Chicken Tikka Masala at most Indian restaurants I go to, but the Butter Chicken here is really good. It'll get polished off faster than you know. Note that it is on the sweeter side, so be sure to ask for a higher spice level if you're not into a slightly sweet tasting dish to dip your naan into. The flavor will be bomb either way. Goat Dum Biryani. I personally don't eat goat often and have ordered their chicken biryani before, which is solid. Hence the name of the place. The paneer in Chili Paneer was rubbery and the sauce was mediocre. Murgh Tangdi was bullshit and FILLED with artificial red color. I shouldn't have tried this place, but I did just to keep an open mind. Keeping your mind open was a mistake today and cost me $43. The overall decor in the restaurant is drab and uninviting as well. Seasoning on fish was great but fish taste moldy or not fresh. I don't recommend extra meat since Togo container is a finite space and did not seem like the extra $$ was worth it for to go. Chicken biryani is amazing and spicy; however, you have an option to choose mild spice level. I was actually surprised that their vegetarian biryani is equally good (this is coming from someone who loves chicken). This was my 3rd or 4th visit to this place in last 1 year and they have maintained the consistency throughout. I always go for boneless chicken biriyani because that is something which is there only on weekends. Also, you can't get the 'boneless' version of the biriyani by ordering through delivery services like DoorDash etc. The taste is pretty Indian and they give you the option of making it either spicy or regular. Indian video songs are always played on the screen and the service is okay. The wait time is not that bad. We waited for about 15 min before we were served. This so called Vijayawada chicken biriyani is a poor excuse for a biriyani.
