We got burgers and the flavor was pretty good but the meat was just cooked a little too much it had a rubber texture that I didn't enjoy but overall it wasn't a bad burger. The potatoes could have been cooked a little longer as well they were slightly cold and some were crunchy. The classic smoothie was really good and refreshing. Today, while waiting for my ride, I had the protein waffle with whipped Greek yogurt, nuts and berries. The waffle was very fluffy and tasted delicious! The staff are also excellent. Lovely interior with very friendly staff. We ordered pastries to go and food to enjoy onsite. Matcha was above average; thé one with spirulina was refreshing. The omelette sandwich was delicious, loaded with caramelized onions. The potatoes were flavorful with a tender inside and crunchy exterior. I was exited about the blue corn waffle, and it was presented beautifully. However, this tasted more like an undercooked masa dough pressed in a waffle iron. I was expecting a crisp waffle texture. The staff made the substitution of the green eggs without batting an eye. This had a great flavor and the labneh was rich and a bright contrast. The pecan bar was super - full of nuts and a coconut undertone. Not all chocolate cookie croissants are good, but this one was filled with a vanilla pastry cream. A pleasant surprise. read more

What a delightful spot! The colors, the cleanliness, the space, the menu are all wonderful. They really do use great quality food and cater to all kinds of allergies and diets. They have seating outdoors as well, which is a nice vibe. I got their surfer burrito, butternut squash soup, and side of blue corn waffle. The response was about parking and when I said I didn't want any more info in parking, it continued to talk about the parking. It's so frustrating to not be able to talk to a live person when I have an allergy. Angel is always so sweet! The service is incredible, the food is always incredible! The drinks are so good and they make their own almond milk in house: Their London fog and mint lattes are my favorites. Also the pastries are so good AND they are all healthy and organic. This place is incredible, indoor and outdoor seating, it's always so clean and inviting. The shakshuka is the best I've had in LA. I stopped by with a friend at the end of a bike ride and was surprised I didn't notice that this place had opened. The inside is SO cute - I love the decor and the overall vibe. The baristas were super friendly and even pointed out that if we downloaded an app we'd get a % off our order (may have been an offer just after opening!). I got the cookies and cream croissant and it was SO decadent but somehow not too sweet. I'm usually pretty sensitive to sugar but was able to eat the whole dang thing. I also grabbed a latte but to be honest it kind of paled in comparison to the croissant hahaha. Bonus points for all of the gluten free options - my friend highly recommended we stop here on the ride because she had already confirmed how delicious the bakery items are! The outdoor patio area is also super nice and I was able to leave my bike nearby without worry the whole time we ate and chatted! I can't wait to come back and try some more options in the future. Healthy, beautiful and delicious food here! My mom and I really enjoyed our breakfast here. Their breakfast sandwich was fantastic with the roasted potatoes and we enjoyed the green eggs as well. Charming cafe with healthy, delicious food. Breakfast or lunch, the menu is massive and I'm thrilled with so many options. Though I've only been once, Parakeet Cafe leaves a lovely impression - chill and relaxed with friendly service and a nice variety of food and drinks to choose from. They have many bowls, and salads and toasts and more to choose from. However, I was craving burger, and enjoyed their 'Best Burger Ever'. While that assessment of course could be debatable, theirs is pretty great. (Grass-fed Australian beef, alioli, organic cheddar, caramelized onions, house-made pickles, brioche bun, roasted potatoes or house salad) I choose the roasted potatoes (perfectly cooked, served with ketchup). The burger is done smash-burger style. I asked for the tasty mini pickles and the fantastic aioli sauce on the side. A nice kick to it, and I alternated between the aioli and the ketchup for the potatoes. It all hit the spot for me. We also ordered the Chicken Caesar Wrap (butter lettuce, organic free range chicken, massaged kale, crunchy garbanzo, capers furikake, parmigiano reggiano, caesar dressing, spinach tortilla) which looks great, and the report from my companion was a big thumbs up. We had a sneak peek/taste of the lemonade, and it was refreshing. As they were still tweaking their recipe, that's all I can say on it now! I would definitely return to Parakeet Cafe. Yes, I understand they have a handful of locations, mostly further south in the SD area. Still, this cafe seemed to be unique and be very much its own place. read more

The restaurant is located by San Vicente blvd and you can choose to sit outside by the street, inside the cafe, or in the outdoor couryard. The place is self-serve, and there is water to get for yourself in case you opt not to purchase a beverage. I got the parakeet bowl and added chicken. I truly enjoyed the kale and cucumber salad but could have done without the hard chickpeas. With such an array of items to choose from, I will be back to try more! read more

The chicken sandwich at the Parakeet Cafe is very good and it has a lot of chicken in it. An extra added attraction is the option of ordering the chicken sandwich with roast potatoes, which I did. The roast potatoes were also very good. For those who like to eat outside, there is a lot of outdoor seating at the Parakeet Cafe, both in front and in back. It's all real outdoor seating, not the bizarre "Eat In The Street" aberration that appeared during the pandemic and still hasn't gone back to wherever it came from. read more

Well, I truly love the food here and the decor. I have to review my experience today. My friend and I and 3 others in the restaurant at 830am today asked the manager to please turn the music down. It was very loud! We were all told that the owner was on his way and that he liked the music that loud and "they had just had a meeting about it". We were there for an hour and no owner arrived. But it was also the way we were responded to. We are the customers and it seems he could have explained to the owner the situation. But he was also extremely rude, dismissive, did not apologize for the policy. When my friend commented about his attitude, he came back to our table and was even ruder. I hope the owners see this and reach out. There are many great restaurants for a quick breakfast in Brentwood and with restaurants suffering as they are, how customers feel in your restaurant matters! read more

This cafe is so cute the first thing that catches your eye is the pink and of course the delicious pastries they have out on display. The pastry catching my eye was the praline chocolate muffin. I got that, a turmeric latte and power bowl. They have a wide variety of healthy lattes which I find so innovative. Most of the time these lattes taste horrible, but this was the perfect balance of earthy and sweet. The power bowl was exactly what I wanted and the mixture of veggies worked beautifully. Overall, it has the perfect combination of delicious sweets and healthy drinks and menu items. Which is perfect for a person like me trying to be fit, but liking a sweet treat every once in a while. read more
