This place has amazing pastries, desserts, and beverages! I always crave their egg tars and donuts. All their pastries are made daily and you can tell that they are fresh. I also love getting cakes here. It's perfect for Mother's Day or for a birthday cake. The cakes can be pretty pricey but some of them are huge and they all taste delicious. The service is here is pretty fast. You go through the aisles of bread and put them on a tray. After, you wait in line and they'll either package everything up for you in a cute little box or give it to you right away if you're staying in. I love coming here to study or hang out with my friends. They have plenty of seating inside and an outside/inside seating area to the left of the line. The area is really clean and really quiet for studying. They also have a lot of plugs on the walls so you can charge your computer or phone! If you come later in the day, they can run out of some of your favorite pastries. I would recommend coming earlier in the day if you want a specific pastry. Paris Baguette is one of my favorite places to go to get Asian style cakes and pastries. I love their strawberries and cream cake, it's my go-to for my birthday. I love the thoughtful design that comes with their packaging, the cake is secure and easy to take out of the box and the little cake slicer comes with matches to light your candles if you find yourself without a lighter. It's always clean and brightly lit in the store and I just get so much joy when I walk in. I like their mini garlic croissants when I want something more savory. Their little desserts are delicious when I want something with hot tea. It's a little bit pricey but it is worth it since the quality is superb. So this was my very first time stepping into a Paris Baguette. Last time I had pastries, my cousin had bought them. This time, omg! I am a pastry lover. And I definitely wasn't sure at what pastries to choose from! I bought 5 pastries so I can try all the many kinds they had! Lol. I have been to this location for years and definitely notice the service has been lacking over the time. I went to the store today a little past 7pm. I was the only customer inside. Grabbed a few pastries and went to the checkout. There were two ladies cutting fruits and chatting. I called once and one lady turned her head and looked at me. She didn't come to help but continue doing what she's doing and chatting with the other lady. I waited a couple more minutes and no one came to help so I called again and finally the lady came to the register. Besides the pastries, I also added a cake for my father in law's birthday. I asked for the birthday sign and candles after check out. And was informed that they no longer offer birthday sign and I have to pay for the candles which left me speechless. Definitely very disappointing by the level of service. I think this location will no longer be my choice when I need to buy a cake next time. read more

Visited this location as it's near our home. We ordered a few pastries and coffee. One pastry, with the side labeled broccoli and cheddar quiche, looked good so we picked that up. It was to our surprise, we found bacon in it and quickly took it back to the cashier. She confirmed it was bacon and turns out they put the wrong Sign. It was really the caramelized onion and bacon quiche. We had already taken several bites and we're disgusted as we do not eat pork per our religious beliefs. The manager offered a refund and blamed it on the new employee who was on his first day and that she was busy with other things so couldn't monitor. This was a a terrible response as she clearly wasn't doing her job as a manager. It could have been a worst situation if it was allergy related. We got our refund but will never return here due to lack of management and accountability for their errors. Update: Per the company response, I sent two emails and still no reply. read more

You know when you're just trying to have a good morning, you're nice to everyone and then you get shafted for no reason? I'm never coming back here again. I walked in, smiled, ordered, paid, tipped %15 and sat down. The food arrived but the lattes we ordered didn't. The place was practically empty with two other customers so it's not like they were slammed. We're watching, waiting for anyone to approach the espresso machine. 16 minutes pass and my husband gets up to inquire about the lattes. They ask us what we ordered and I say "please check your receipts". The vibe was how dare you ask for your coffee that you ordered? What followed was the most disgusting (coffee??) Hotter than the surface of the sun, undrinkable, dropped off by staff that didn't even apologize for the wait, while two of the staff kept side eyeing us and giggling. I couldn't drink it. I left it as is. Malicious compliance at it's finest. Completely uncalled for. I would have been fine with a refund, I wasn't forcing you to make my latte and try to send me to the ER. I'd ask why you'd treat your customers this way, but I won't even bother. I'd understand if I was an *$$hole but I wasn't and this was unacceptable behavior and service. Don't come here unless you want to be bullied by a pair of teenage mean girls. Stick to the Dublin location, they are very nice and the lattes are lattes. read more

I wish I could write a stellar review on this one, but I cannot. The other location a little further is much better. sorry... it pains me to write this b/c I've been to SO many other spots. 1. Parking is awful, none of it makes sense, people are always almost hitting each other 2. store: looks really dingy and dirty compared to others I have seen. 3. Variety, not much as other spots probably because of size of store. 4. Cleanliness: The tray I picked up I could see oil spots on the paper, they clearly reused it. 5. Quality: the ham and cheese croissant that I picked up (which I got at 12 noon) was so stale, I should have asked for it to be heated up. 6. I needed the items I got w/tongs individually wrapped and had to ask at least 3 times the cashier to do it. Her english unfortunately was not great. Eventually we got it sorted. 7. Bags: they charge .10, but the other location includes it with your order. Likely won't be back unless it is out of convenience. :( hope they improve. read more

We love PB! I first fell in love with PB while visiting NY. I'm so glad there is a closer one to home as I use to go to the Dublin location but now will go to the Pleasanton location. They opened a while ago and still a learning curve since it's a new location and employees seem as they are getting their groove so I'll cut some slack and now with COVID-19 I'm sure it's a challenge for this new location and employees trying to adapt to this new way of life. So all the negative reviews are a little silly imo! The baked goods are 10++++ I plan on getting our little graduate his cake here for our at home party per his request. I walked into Paris Baguette today just planning to do my typical buying of their Fruit Soft Cream Cake but instead totally unexpectedly captivated by a beauty that caught my attention! A summer special Rainbow Cake, which was deliciously described as "6-layer cake with 6 different colored sponge, filled with cream cheese and soft cream". I just had to get it for my bf's birthday! And the rainbow color was very fitting too. When I bought it though, I was a little worried that it would be too cream cheesy which I wouldn't like. However, to my surprise, I didn't find the addition of cream cheese to be overwhelming at all. In fact, it was elegantly subtle, as it only added a touch of richness and more sweetness to the cream enveloping the sponge. The whole look of the cake was absolutely gorgeous too, inside and out. On the outside you could see the rainbow ombré on the side of the cake. On the inside, the layers went red, dark orange, light orange, yellow, green, and purple from top to bottom. I was kinda bummed they skipped the blue, but no biggie. Taste-wise, it was shocking. It was amazing. I thought the flavor would just be the regular yellow sponge flavor, but apparently I was getting fruity flavors on the sponge as well. It was a really nice surprise. The flavor almost reminded me of fruity pebbles type of flavor, but slightly better. For this small size of cake, I think $39.99 was kinda expensive, but I'm gonna be okay with this price for this cake since I liked it very much. read more

I was very impressed with the service I got at the Dublin store this morning. I ordered online several dozen mini croissants and fruit cakes but had accidentally set the pick up for tomorrow instead of today. When I got there they of course didn't have it ready but rushed to get it together for me even though it was totally my fault! Very sweet of them. My recommendation, if you want good customer service, or concern about nut allergies, avoid Paris Baguette -- especially avoid this location. I definitely will not be going back. When I went in to pick up a holiday cake I had ordered, I asked if had nuts and the person helping me asked someone else if it had nuts. She didn't know so she asked someone else and after thinking for a while, they said it did indeed have nuts. I went back out to my car and then called my wife and she was irate because she specifically ordered it to not have nuts, as per the web page. I went back in to double-check, showing what the ingredients list online said, and they said that it didn't have nuts. For them to be so cavalier about the nuts vs. no-nuts question is pretty infuriating when I have two people in my family with severe nut allergies. But they just brushed it off like it was nothing. The assistant manager was rude and when I asked for the manager she said "What's up?". Not "How can I help you?" Not assuming the customer was right or deferring to the customer. Just "What's up?" At this point, I don't want to do business at all with them, so I asked for a refund. They said that since I took the cake out that they couldn't do it. I asked for just a refund and to have them throw the cake out since they were misleading and I didn't want to do business with them. I didn't want a free cake, I just didn't want to give them my business. Again they refused. So I left and will be disputing the charge on my credit card. read more

I ordered a birthday cake and some pastries. Took a long time to find the cake and the guy helping me even asked if I did not come earlier to pick it up. I asked for birthday candles that they have always provided for free every time you ordered a birthday cake. The guy got so upset and rudely said that I should buy the birthday candles that are on display. He eventually gave me the "free" candles that they usually give their customers. He told me that this is the last time I'm getting this candles for free, and that next time I have to buy those candles. Even though Paris baguette is a chain bakery, man, their Blueberry chiffon cake is so so so good. It's probably one of the best cakes I've ever eaten. Super light and the cream isn't overly sweet at all. Soft and has a strong flavor of blueberry. Think of it like a blueberry muffin taste in cake form. This isn't the first time I've been to their bakery so I'll give a couple of reviews of some of their other products. If you get a chance to come here, aside from their blueberry chiffon cake, definitely try their soft strawberry cake. It's in a plastic wrap package, usually next to the soft cheesecake (which looks similar in shape). The strawberry taste is artificial so if that's not your thing, easily skippable. But if you like the strawberry pocky taste, this strawberry cake taste just like that. Personally it's also a favorite of mine. If you're not into the artificial strawberry taste, then the regular soft cheesecake is really good too. Almost reminds me of a slightly denser version of Japanese jiggly cheesecake. Finally, if you come here in the morning, they will have crab croquette which is probably one of my favorite breakfast pastries. The filling goes really well with the outer bread. Overall, definitely a huge fan of Paris Baguette in general. read more

I was initially glad to find a closer paris baguette vs the Dublin location, bought a mixed berry soft cream cake along with other pastries like the flat breads, quiche and donuts. the service was great and the bakery is smaller compared to the Dublin location, but they have a variety of items plus some I didn't see at the Dublin spot, I.e this green dot looking donut - too sweet for me personally. I was very pleased with the location and my findings till I got home. The cake was dry and not very fresh (I primarily go to Paris for their cakes, so having a dry cake was disappointing. I frequent other Paris baguette locations, they're known for their moist soft cream cakes, but this mixed berry one surely disappointed 3 stars compared to the 5 I would give at Dublin) I am hoping this is a fluke but will give another try in the future. The green dot donut was too sweet( cute, light and fluffy 3 stars) , the pepperoni flat bread was good (4 stars), hot dog wrap maple bread had too much bread and was dry(2 stars), lastly, the Korean corn dog, my fav in all the bread selection(4 stars) , but one grip, it was a bit tad oily. Overall, the experience was lack luster. Will try to give this location another try in the future. read more

I ask politely with the cashier" how many shot you put in ice espresso by order, he get confused and said they don't do something like that here. And then he just told me he will charge me for ice americano and then told me we don't usually do that since we are Bakery not coffee shop. " what kind of attitude is that !!!! I believe he's owner. Unfriendly service. No greetings, ever. When I'm holding my tray and it's my turn I feel like I'm in line at a prison waiting to get served. Additionally, tried to use a reward and the woman said it was expired (it was not expired. I could even see on her screen it was not expired). And she said she was 'doing me a favor' by giving it to me. She didn't even ask which pastry I wanted, as you were supposed to get a choice but she just chose for me. My wife got a reward redemption recently as well and it was a cream bread. The cream inside was liquid/spoiled. She threw the whole thing away. I am not sure but maybe with the recent heat wave the pastries are not being stored properly and the heat is getting to them. Overall this is just a really dismal place to spend your money. I'd rather grab a maple donut next door and eat it in the car and get crumbs all over the car that I never end up finding than come here again, honestly. And if the owner wants to reply to me and say sorry I feel this way or whatever he says, just instead use that energy improving your store. After two attempts to do business I concluded that this store is clueless when it comes to correctly filling orders and resolving customer service issues and should not be a part of this otherwise successful franchise. I had a problem with my order being messed up and attempted to rectify it with the owner. He was rude, angry, defensive and entirely dishonest - a horrible experience. I am pleasantly surprised that they have ParisBaguette in Scottsdale Arizona! I've only seen it in Korea and LA. The interior design is very European, and it's a perfect place to bring someone that you want to impress. I love the bakery selections as well. This place will not disappoint. read more

The owner of their store is completely horrible . Every time I've been here be it a personal purchase or a postmates order he's always been a complete jerk He's unorganized and rude I came for a postmates order and he made me wait around. Then told me they didn't have it ready and to come back in an hour . That's not how postmates works I've seen him be completely nasty and demeaning to his stuff. He's raised his voice at them in front of customers and he's just all around a unpleasant person. I personally will not spend my own money here ever again. CAnt do anytbing about postmates. But this owner just makes me so stick to my stomach that I dread coming in anymore . I feel like if not for the hard working employees this store would fail . Two weeks ago, I stop by to get mocha and take awhile for them to make it. They looked like they don't know what to do, they keep looking at the picture at the wall how to make the mocha. When I got home the mocha taste blend, it looked like they didn't put chocolate syrup on it and I have to thrown it away. And today I was stop by at lunch time to get pastries and I scan to get reward for what I purchased but the cashier without asked me first she just use my free pastries which is expired in 2 months. I asked her why she used my free coupon and she said oh well you got free pastries. It never happened at the other locations, I'm regret to stop by at Pleasanton locations. This is the place that I usually stop by because it's on my way home. The selection here is limited compared to other locations, but its ok because they usually have what I'm looking for. Sometimes, to make it easy on me, I would just place an order online and pick up. I've done that a couple of times. The only issue I have with ordering online is that they don't tell you if they already ran out of whatever item you're placing orders for. My last order, I ended up receiving pastries that I didn't ask for. It's a good thing I checked before I left the store. The assistant informed me that they ran out of majority of the 2 different item I placed, so instead, I was given something similar. Personally, that's not ok. I informed her that if anything, I should've been notified that certain items were not available and or have the option of canceling the order. I didn't get either option. What's frustrated me was that they decided to replace my missing chocolate croissants with smaller pastries to compensate. I had to inform the assistant that if that's my only option, then at least compensate me for the right amount based on the value I paid for. If I paid for a $4 chocolate croissant, at least compensate me for something of that value but I wasn't. I had to tell her, how would you feel if this was you picking up your order? Would you be ok with this? No response. I paid $50 for pastries but ended up getting half the fraction that I paid for because that was all they had. Apparently, I was holding the line so she tried to brush me off and smiled at me so I can leave. The many stops that I've made here, this was probably the worst customer service I've received. The online order should be updated so this won't happen again. I won't order online again, not worth the hassle. read more
