On November 16, 2025, me and my family celebrated my wife's birthday in the afternoon that day. The food was excellent and the facilities were amazing. However, when I got the bill, the restaurant inserted a surcharge in excess of $80 to the total amount due for a tip. On top of that, an additional tip was solicited on the bill. The service was slightly below average and not justifying such a massive tip. I did not see any signs or mentions in the menu that I will be charged an additional 18% on the total bill. I was insulted, offended and outraged by this. This practice needs to be outlawed. read more

We usually dine upstairs for special dinners. This time we were coming from the aquarium and celebrating my birthday. The prices are high but the quality is excellent and the lovely patio on a good day is so relaxing. Plexiglass walls protect you from the wind and umbrellas are up for the sunshine. Their calamari was a nice appetizer. We had their lighthouse roll which was so fresh and quite exceptional . (I think that was the name). Shared a bowl of their wonderful clam chowder and my husband and I had their salmon sandwich that was on the daily special with a side of fruit. Sooooo good. Our daughter ordered the fish tacos and we were all very impressed with the quality of food. For dessert we shared the Tollhouse pie with walnuts which was a splurge for my birthday. I was already so full but we didn't have trouble eating most of it there and I finished it back at home a couple of days later! read more

We both ordered the scallops and were very disappointed. No flavor at all until we used the salt and pepper. Fresh out of box is what should be advertised. The clam chowder was watered down. The cocktails were bland as well. The waiter (younger man)was sarcastic and we sensed that he wasn't happy to serve us. Dry, forced smile. Obvious who he preferred to wait on. Time to overhaul the entire restaurant, you're living off a reputation that is long gone. If it wasn't for the waterfront, you would never have any business.Tourists will continue to pay because they don't know any better. I understand that fixing the restaurant will cost more, but doesn't everything now a day. read more

The restaurant itself and the views were stunning. Parking was not the best but I think that's partially because there was an event nearby. The shrimp cocktail was pretty good. Nothing special. And the mixed grill was good but definitely overpriced given the flavor and quality. The service was really good. We originally sat outside and it became very hot. They happily moved us inside and even turned up the AC, so that was very accommodating. read more

We did a small boat trip and noticed this restaurant from the water! We were not sure what to expect but this was a good experience. On a Saturday night we were seated right away and they even asked our preference. We wanted small portions to share so ordered Brussel sprouts, fish and chips and crab dip. I mentioned my allergy to blue crab. Iliana went to make sure twice that I could have the crab because at first they said it was red crab.. spoiler: I couldn't! & I appreciated that so much! the other dishes were solid. Great espresso martinis. Only downside was the bathrooms on the second floor. I was one of the people that walked the whole first floor trying to find them and I also witnessed an older gentleman struggling to go up the stairs :/ just good to know beforehand. read more

Not sure if they just don't give a f on a Monday but I was quite disappointed Food- great portions and quality. Had a 16oz steak with roasted potatoes and asparagus, they actually gave a proper side portion and good taste, the steak was too big so I had it to go - Drinks- had 2 margaritas, regular margarita was good, jalapeño margarita was straight jalapeño with a hint of alcohol, and I'm Mexican, yes I eat spicy and drink, I had it taken back after taking half a sip and getting the flavor up my nose and still was charged for it, I don't expect free service but doing your job well is important Pictures below- Straight RAW parts of the steak, one thing is a proper 360 sear around the steak to prevent stomach sickness, another thing is not knowing how to cook and half searing it, yes there were the edges of the 16oz Bone-In-Ribeye Steak Views available outside - this place always speaks of views and so forth and the actual decent view patio was blocked off on the side Prices- good for the area Quality of food- 7/10 minus the raw parts inconvenience Service 6/10 Technically speaking we can compare this spot to Ruth chris or Flemings prices wise and those are chains, I would assume a singular restaurant would be better, I don't think I would come here again read more

This is a hidden gem (is it hidden, though?). I love that it's on the water and it has a beautiful view of the Queen Mary and Lighthouse. We all enjoyed our meal, I had the steak and it was delicious but I was also jealous of my husband who ordered the Fish and Chips (they were so crispy- yum!). If it wasn't so cold the night we came, I would have loved to sit outside. Maybe next time! The staff was very friendly and our waiter was very kind. read more

I went to Parker's Lighthouse with my girlfriend's family and we loved it so much we decided to sleep in the car over night and get it again the next day. This Fish & Chips is all that and a bag of chips. Their Lobster Roll Sandwich made me wish I had not wasted time with other Lobster Rolls in the past. Came in for dinner since we were in the area.Ambiance is great whether your inside or outside,whatever you are vibing.We couldn't decide initially so we opt for the outside coastal scenic view.The hostess in the front doesnt have the friendliest personality as far as seating or greeting people however servers inside were super friendly, polite and ultimately just wants you to feel great eating there.We Had Jj and he was extremely helpful and knowledgeable about the menu.He explained the menu and specials very well and did not seem to hurry nor rush us.We got some dranks and a few appetizers for dinner.The chicken karaoke was by far the best I have ever had!The lettuce wrap is a plus.I never had that combo before and the sauce was good.The clams were good too however they are in the smaller side. I met family at Parker's Lighthouse for a quick bite with my granddaughter, and we were joyfully greeted by Madeleine ("Maddy"), who immediately brought menus and ice water to the table with such a warm smile and positive energy. After taking my drink order, I asked about a few menu items, and Maddy made some excellent recommendations. I ultimately chose the dish she personally suggested, and it was fantastic. During our conversation, I noticed she had a slight accent, which she explained was because she's from Minnesota. She truly embodies "Midwestern nice." My guests and I found her engaging, knowledgeable about the menu, and incredibly attentive. She made us feel like VIPs from the moment we sat down. I dine out frequently for work and have had my fair share of experiences with servers, and Maddy is easily one of the most memorable servers I've ever had. She made us feel so special and left us completely energized by her happy spirit. Because of this experience, my guests and I will definitely make it a point to revisit Parker's Lighthouse more often--and we'll absolutely be asking for Maddy again. Happy hour with a view, the start of our Long Beach vacation. Seated on the patio it was a lovely afternoon. Just looking for a snack, I appreciate that happy hour is HH M-F 3-6, some places have eliminated Fridays and cut hours. You can get a $7 chowder and $10 drinks, and if you are lucky your server will let you use the free appetizer coupon you receive if you join the email club! In our case, a great calamari appetizer and a warm crab dip for the bill perfectly. The calamari had two dipping sauces, a marinara and a lemon aoili. The crab dip had a fantastic crust on top, and came with fresh red pepper strips, cucumber and some of oasted baguette. I brought some GF crackers and scooped away! Husband ordered an Almanac ale and I had water because why buy a $$ glass of wine when you have a bottle at home? We took our time enjoying the view and the sunshine. Our friendly server didn't seem bothered we weren't ordering dinner or more drinks, so we took good care of her on gratuity. They may not have the highest ratings but we really enjoyed Parker's Lighthouse. read more

Parker's Lighthouse offers a FANTASTIC VIEW of the Shoreline Village Bay. This is one of those restaurants where the AMBIANCE MATTERS MORE THAN WHAT YOU ORDER. We had a guest coming from abroad and wanted to dine at a place with a view. They offer free two-hour validation if you park within the Village. We came here for lunch and were seated outdoors by the window with a direct view of the Queen Mary. The service was nice, and our server was attentive. What we ordered: NEW ENGLAND CLAM CHOWDER: It was CREAMY and BUTTERY. It wasn't the best that I've had. However, it was an acceptable appetizer selection. LOBSTER CLUB: This sandwich ISN'T A ROLL. It's a club sandwich with lobster meat and bacon. I wished it was made into a roll because having it as a sandwich with large bacon strips rather than bacon bits threw off the luxurious taste of the sea. It also served with a cup full of French Fries. BLACKENED FISH TACOS (3): Blackened fish meat was SALMON. It was the first time I was offered a SALMON on a taco. Usually, restaurants use Atlantic Cod. However, the meat was lined with a guac spread. Of all the entrees I tried, this was my favorite. STRAWBERRY FIELDS SALAD: The salad was served with arugula, strawberries, goat cheese, and nuts. A very healthy taste for someone counting calories. This restaurant has a beautiful view! Our waitress wasn't rude but she was very to the point about being there to get the job done. We went on a Sunday around 2pm and our food took close to 20 minutes to come out. We got the garlic cheese bread and complimentary rolls for our appetizer. The sourdough rolls were pretty average and the butter has a sweetness to it. The garlic cheese bread was fresh, crispy and tasty with lots of garlic and cheese! I got the salmon ponzu roll without the crab mix (because I don't eat real crab). The rice didn't seem to be the freshest and overall, the dish was okay. Not too flavorful. I also don't know if it's because it was busy, but they forgot to bring soy sauce with the dish. read more

Took a trip to the aquarium with my kids and finished with dinner at Parker's lighthouse. The food was pretty good, the atmosphere was amazing and we had the absolute BEST and I mean BEST waitress!! Honorable mention to Ms. Bailey....She made sure to make our FIRST experience the best experience. She immediately greeted us and her personality was so great. Right away she highlighted a few menu items in which we took a few of her suggestions. We ordered the warm crab dip which was delivered quickly, fresh and was so good. I ended up ordering the mixed grill pictured below (10/10) and my kids (8 & 6) ordered the kids pizza (also pictured below) which had amazing portion sizes & they ate the entire thing. Their meals came with ice cream which I thought was really nice considering my kids were already asking about dessert prior to arriving. We were celebrating my son's birthday and Bailey went above and beyond yet again and had a crew sing him happy birthday. It made him feel so special and literally made his night. We had reservations and still had to wait to be seated. The dining area is much too dark, even with the tiny lamps they have added to the tables. Bar was very slow preparing the drinks, the server did apologize about it. Our server was very nice. But the food??? Nothing to make us rush back. I ordered the grilled salmon which says it has aji sauce (totally bland) and comes with poblano creamed corn and spinach. Where were the poblanos??? Didn't see or taste them. The spinach was a giant wad of cool grass. Not edible. This should have been a zesty dish, it was not. Diner 2 had mixed grill, and mixed reaction. Liked the grouper, thought the crab cake was awful. Ben give me the best customer service I ever experienced. He greeted me by my name, I loved that. I came to the light house alone on my birthday and he really made my day special by surprising me with a birthday cake and a pink candle. He did that for me, no one has ever done that for me before. Every moment there I felt at peace with myself watching the view of the ocean. The lady at the front desk should do better tho. She moves a fast and she I was trying to say thank you she just pointed to Ben like go with him. But Ben energy changed all of that. You need more people like Ben to Welcome people in. My 2nd time coming to Parker's Lighthouse and I can't wait to come back for more. The service is always amazing and we were seated in a section of the restaurant that gave us a gorgeous view of the Queen Mary. We ordered a good variety of food (thanks to Travis our server for all of the recommendations) and it all came out looking good and tasting good. My daughter had the Salmon sashimi, seared Tuna sashimi and a miso soup. My son had a grilled cheese with fries. My wife had a spicy Lighthouse roll and I had a Mixed Grill plate with a glass of Chardonnay. Our appetizer was bruschetta and it was perfect. Dessert was the perfect size and hit the spot. The combo of great service from our server Travis and Jenn the Manager was amazing along with the ambiance and quality of food for the price only elevates this restaurant as my personal choice of the "go to" restaurant in Long Beach. read more

I was in the area for a trade show at the LB convention center and suggested to the colleague that we should eat at Parker's Lighthouse after we were done with the show. The location is great and a nice view of the Queen Mary ship across the harbor. We sat outside since it was a beautiful day in Long Beach. We shared a calamari, which was just OK but a bit greasy. I ordered the fish and chips and I should have thought that out, since the calamari was not fried well and was greasy. Surprisingly (sic), the fish was greasy as well. The fries and the tartar sauce were really good. I concentrated on those and did not take any of the fish, I did not eat, home with me. The service was three star as well. While it started out good, most of the servers stood around on their phones and a couple of times I had to wave someone down to get their attention. I would recommend that the management enforce some rule about phone usage. At least do it in the kitchen or break room instead of out where the diners can see them all on their phones. Parking was bizarre, or more specifically the rouse that your parking is paid for with a validation from the restaurant. There is a sign, that no one reads including myself, that says the validation does not give you free parking, just a discount. I paid about $2. Just add that into the price of my meal and cover the parking. How weird. I have never seen that before. The view is fantastic. My food was a solid "meh". The colleague liked his entree, so I wish I could remember what he had. Service was just OK. Go. Give It A Try? Avoid The Fish & Chips. HAVE FUN! read more

Parker's Lighthouse is a gem of Shoreline village. We have been there for happy hour, dinner, gatherings with friends, and we've always enjoyed Parker's lighthouse. And, we also enjoy Queensview steakhouse when they have their jazz musicians playing on a Friday or Saturday evening. They have great food, fabulous service, and my wife's favorite, blue cheese, stuffed olives in a very dirty martini. If you're looking for one of the nicest restaurants and nicest views in Long Beach, you have to try Parker's lighthouse, or the upstairs Queensview restaurant. read more

Came here for lunch on a cold winter day about a year ago with a friend. Parkers' Lighthouse is a seafood restaurant and tequila bar that offers a view of the Long Beach harbor and the Queen Mary. It is located in Shoreline Village, a waterfront shopping and dining area in downtown Long Beach. This is definitely a tourist attraction and it can get quite busy here. The restaurant itself was charming and very spacious. Our food was great but our server didn't offer to validate our parking tickets which should have been free but instead costing us $12 each for a very short time parking here. It isn't about the $12 but the lack of not asking if we parked on the premises and offering validation. Apparently other guests had the same issue not receiving the two hours of free parking. Therefore I won't be back! read more
