I wanted so much to love this place! All the hype with their doughnuts and then gluten free options. Wow. First the good... The employees are amazing. Nice happy folks. Second... The regular doughnuts are good. Think croissants dipped in sugary flavors. Ok now the bad... The gluten free doughnuts are almost inedible. Yuck yuck yuck. And they are TINY. So very Disappointing. They just need to take them off the menu. Here's the next punch. The breakfast sandwiches. Ugh. They might be good but they need to watch their quality control. Just ordered three bacon egg and cheese on sourdough and they are soggy. Again, I had high hopes. You either toast the bread or you don't. Don't serve "toasted" soggy bread. Celiac foodies rejoice! This place is amazing! Not only are the doughnuts delicious, but they're safe for gluten-free foodies. They keep all the gf doughnuts separate from the glutenous ones. They're prepared separated. Gloves are changed. I'm a very sensitive celiac and I didn't get sick! Love this place. They took me seriously. Listened to me. And didn't make me feel like I was putting them out. Tried their new fall flavor and the strawberry. Both delicious. I took my kids here and they were amazed! The store is so big and so clean. We went on a Sunday morning and you could tell people had already come and had their fix. I got 5 or 6 donuts. Adorable little shop with so many unique and delicious flavors to choose from! The Sandy Beach and Bourbon Caramel were both fresh and soft, and my toddler loved his cinnamon mini. Ahwatukee and honestly AZ in general is in dire need of places like this! There are so many generic donut shops and crumbl's everywhere. This is something different. What is a layered donut exactly? Think Cronut in texture with a gourmet side car donuts flavor profile and variety. Really nailed everything. I got the French toast. Holy crap, absolutely amazing. They have a full coffee bar and do breakfast items! Sadly for my pants I'll be frequenting this place. Can't wait to return to try some of the others. Please be patient. Customer service is amazing, I have been here more than a few times and I am always happy with the service and freshness of the product. I like to get the breakfast sandwiches, sliced sourdough or biscuit. The biscuits tasted fresh and homemade, not sure if they are but YUM!!! I decided to drop in based on the positive ratings. I had a light breakfast but wanted extra. This is near Trader Joe's and parking was easy( but I didn't get a close space). I loved the look of the inside with the star tile floors and the beautiful wood display case. This spot reminds me of my all time favorite donut place in New Orleans, District Donuts. I looked ahead and was going to grab ONE thing and go. So the merchandise display by the door with shirts n such I didn't see until I left. As I was greeted and saw the wide selection I tried to not be tempted. I failed! I ordered two donuts and grabbed three minis for my husband who wanted nothing, and was in the car keeping the A/C running while I was getting my one thing. As I drove down the I-10 home to Tucson, I took a bite of my raspberry pistachio, wow. Very light and just like a croissant inside. The three minis were white power sugar/ raspberry filled, plain with coconut cream, and cinnamon sugar which my husband loved! My impulse purchase was their campfire donut, and it was chocolate covered, with graham cracker crumbs, marshmallows and chocolate syrup. Good pick for sure. There is inside tables, and cups for water if you don't pick up a drink from their coffee menu. I loved the food I ordered, and plan to return next time I'm in Phoenix. read more

I have been wanting to try Parlor donuts for a very long time now and I was finally able to try it today. When you walk in you are greeted by a great selection of their donuts along with some really friendly customer service! We tried 4 different donuts since it was our first time there. We got the coconut cream, raspberry pistachio, chocolate, and the French toast one. The French toast was my favorite. Their donuts are super airy and the texture is wonderful. I wish the donut was warm because I feel like that would make it so much better. The toppings/fillings were just okay. I feel like this is where they somewhat cut corners. I do greatly appreciate how they are keeping costs affordable. For $3.65 that's a pretty generous size donut! I would definitely like to come back and try some more options! read more

I do know better, but also forgot that without eggs, food tends to fall apart. I reached into the bag to get the donut and it broke into pieces as I lifted it out. The minute we heard about this place opening in Phoenix we knew we had to go there. Their doughnuts are over top in deliciousness and texture. At first you think they are going to be rich and dense but really are the opposite. My favorites are the sandy beach and French toast or the vanilla carnival. The sandy beach is cinnamony with a light and fluffy texture. The French toast is just a tad too much frosting for me personally but still love to get it. The vanilla carnival is always a safe option to choose if you are unsure what to get. The coffee was good too. The service was really great. The people were so nice, serving our doughnuts quickly. Delicious! These aren't your typical doughnuts. It is a laminated dough similar to a croissant. Light, nice chew, with a crisp crust topped with a variety of goodness. The glazes have a true fruit flavor. The combinations make for a delightful change than a traditional doughnut which I find to be overly sweet and heavy. Most are the base donut with different topping, however also offered are a few filled donuts too. I chose the seasonal Pumpkin Chai Cheesecake and my husband decided on the Raspberry Pistachio. Both were equally delicious. We added a few minis, raspberry filled and coconut cream filled. Other option include apple pie filled and cinnamon sugar coated. These can be purchased individually for .65 cents or by a 10 count box. The coconut cream was a true coconut cream pie filling, no artificial flavor. The raspberry filling had fruit pulp with no seeds, far better than the commonly found gel filling. We couldn't leave without a few doggie donuts which our dogs loved! Staff was friendly and patient as we contemplated our choices. The shop was clean, well lit and offered tables or a small couch with plush chairs area. Bathrooms were very clean and well stocked. Tried twice, never got a doughnut. The first attempt went during posted business hours only to find a sign that said they were closed but would open later. One wasted trip. Went back today and stood by the case. A young man who was not helping anyone said he would be right with me. Then walked away. Another customer came in and stood behind me. A minute later a young lady said I can help you over there and pointed to the register. Both of us walked over to the register and she looks at the 2nd customer and asks what she can get for him.
