Food was amazing. We got so full off the app we had to take out Baleadas to go! Meet the cook she was lovely had to tell her how amazing the food was. Service was spectacular. And the restaurant was so cute and well decorated. Felt like someone's home. Can't wait to come back!!

Good food, great prices, wonderful service in an adorable, quaint setting! I LOVE Mexican, Central & South American food (blame my Costa-Rican father!) so I'm a big fan of baleadas, pupusas & tamales, etc. Came here with my dad recently & ordered a Mora juice (blackberry) and the combo that came with una Baleada Sencilla (beans, cheese & natilla, I also added avocado) & a Pupusa (bean & cheese). We also had delicious Cuban coffee & flan for dessert. Our waitress, Karen was so sweet & all the employees were lovely! Will def be back to try the Pollo Ceibeño!

Great Honduran restaurant. I loved their baleada and soup. The soup is an absolute must. Service and location were great. They have parking available. The ambiance is casual and great for families. The food tastes very authentic and to me Honduran food has a very particular delicious taste. Definitely a go to place moving forward.

LOVED this place. The quality of every dish that came out was superb. Great example of Honduran food. The restaurant although fairly large was packed to the brim for lunch on a Sunday afternoon. Our waiter was very sweet and took his time with us, we aren't used to ordering Honduran food, so a lot of questions were asked. I ordered the beef soup or sopa de res, they only had one serving and three of us ordered. So we let my mom take it. She loved it. I ordered the carne asada as my second choice and I wasn't upset. The dish came with rice, a coleslaw salad, maduros (plantains), a slice of avocado, refried beans, a slice of white cheese, and two tortillas!! Talk about yummy leftovers. The steak had an amazing taste and was juicy. I cannot wait to come back to try more dishes.

I just moved to East Little Havana and am trying some authentic places, I refuse to go to Brickell and wait for a table surrounded by women wearing sequins on a Tuesday night, so I try to hit authentic places 90% of the time just like I did in New York my whole life. I've been hitting Las Cabañas Salvadoran on the corner of Calle Ocho and SW Fourth Avenue, so I found this Honduran place no much farther up Calle Ocho (it's all walking distance--I live near Jose Martí Park on the Miami River). It was around 9:30am on a Sunday morning. I barely speak Spanish and the nice waitress who speaks no English figured out my order of a typical Honduran plate consisting of a carne asada, refried beans, white rice, avocado, white cheese, maduros, lime, pico de gallo, and a small salad of cabbage topped with a tomato slice. This was huge. For some reason they grilled a steak and then sliced it into pieces and put it on a skewer like a pincho with grilled onions and peppers, but it was grilled on a flame with grill marks. Maybe it was to get the whole meal served on one plate. I also had a strong cafe con leche. The food was delicious, rather large for any meal of the day but I powered through it and paid the price later by not going to the gym or being productive. I'd definitely go back there for the food and the man who speak English and works the Apple Pay device appreciated the compliments and that I had been there the first time.

I have known of this place for at least 7 years now. The food usually takes more than average to get to your table. Like they say, great things take time. I love the decoration of sombreros, clay sculptures and the amazing information plastered on each table. If you are Honduran, you will love learning more about the culture from those tables. Ok, let's talk about the real one, the food. I ordered la cena especial. Tajadas (thin like my preference), frijoles (perfectly fried), maduros (on the right spot), queso fresco, mantequilla hondureña, aguacate (great quality), huevos revueltos and a medium well cooked meat. I also had an Horchata. I totally recommend this place. Outstanding service.

I've been here a couple times. I visit from Chicago and I love Honduran food! So if you're looking to explore different Latin-American foods this is definitely a place to go! Their pupusas are good. I got a mix. They're baleadas are also amazing! I feel like this place is usually packed, but worth the wait! I recommend you try the Honduran Tacos and enchiladas!

I grew up in Miami and have never visited here, we were recommended by a friend. Pupusas could have been better, a bit softer and with a bit more sazón flavor or whatever they put in there. We also had carne asada with rice and beans, I've had my share of carnita asada plates, a typical dish in any Catracho (hondurean) restaurant this was okay, was expecting more. Over all it was okay, I might visit again.

I ordered the carne acada and baleada con choriza. I preferred the carne acada but the baleada con choriza was very cheap! Only $4.99. The portions are really really big and worth the money. The steak was flavored and a good size. I also ordered the anafre mixto which is chips with cheese and beans. The cheese was a little too cooked so it burned tho but still delicious. The only thing I will say is that the plantains werent that sweet. Which was disappointing because plantains are my favorite read more

Authentic Honduran food, not one thing I did not like. The Carne Asada was really good and tasted like I remember as a kid in the honduran countryside. This is most authentic Honduran restaurant I have ever been to ever, only my mom's cooking could beat it. Prices are excellent and they give you too much food, but you know it was worth it. read more

The best Latin food in Miami is found here. This place has home made food and it's a little hidden gem in little Havana. If you live in Miami you must visit or if your visiting miami go also. Order the combo platters that brings a mix of all the different foods this way you get a taste of it all. The Honduran grape soda is delicious! Right in the heart of little Havana, where now it's not only about Cuban cuisine but also other Latin American countries. This is a very cozy Honduran Restaurant. Food is delicious and service is pleasant! Easy to access, It's a few minutes away from I-95 or US1. AMAZING food!!!! My family (4) and I loved it. We tried the sampler platter, pupusas, rolled taquitos, a carne asada plate, some beef pastries, we ordered sooo much food cuz we were really hungry, we ordered enough for 7 people and ate ALL of it everything was delicious!!! And inexpensive. It was very busy, yet they didn't take long to bring out our food. Next time we r in Florida we will definitely be back. read more

Paseo catracho hands down has the best pupusas in town, I don't know any other place that can make them as good. On the other hand I don't know what's with all the hype about their baleadas, it's actually the worst I've ever had.. Maybe it was the day I had it, who knows. Anyway, I give this place 3 stars because the food is decent and the service , well, not so much. I've gone several times and they always take their sweet time with bringing in the food and their employees are not very attentive. Also, do not tried their fried chicken unless it's boneless. Why? Because every time I've tried their fried chicken it's SUPER dry ! It would be delicious if it wasn't so dry to the point where I could choke on it. read more

I've never been to Honduras. But if the food is anything like it was here I want to visit. The Honduran beer Port Royal is smooth. The Carne Asada special was excellent. The steak has a lot of rich flavors, the salad was surprisingly good as well and the "Chimol" is very tasty. The tortillas were home made of corn flour. Delicious. But please come during week days since weekends this place is packed. read more

Paseo Catracho is a neat place to kill the urge for Honduran food. It is not the best but it is worth giving it a shot. My experience was OK all due to the following. The place inside is neat and nicely decorated. I started by ordering a round of Coronas for the group. They were extremely warm and we told the waitress and she said it would take a while to get a cold one. No problem we said so we went ahead and ordered the sampler. This is a must. A mix of all kinds of food from their main menu including tortillas chips with beans over melted cheese (outstanding). Just with this I was almost full which is why I ordered 1 steak and 1 cheese baleada. These were not the best but worth the drive. The prices were reasonable and the service was better than expected. I would recommend this place. Tip: The parking lot in the back is pretty dark at night. Try to park on 8th by the meters instead. read more

Great service. Pupusas were my favorite. I want to go back and try several things. Cortaditos are perfectly made. La hostess es muy amable. Las pupusas estan muy ricas. Ordene una baliada y me parecen muy grandes. Nada en especial. Regresare porque este lugar esta mucho mejor que las otras competencias. I'm giving this great place 4 stars based on food aunthenticity/taste/and being served in a timely manner. The service is not so great... But the food definetly compensates. Some must tries are baliadas, any of the 4 are delicious with your choice of grilled meat, eggs, refried beans, cream (mantequilla), the amazing Honduran cheese and let's not forget it's all warmly wrapped in a flour tortilla ! They also have fresh juices (tamarindo, and mora are must haves.) If you're still indecisive pupusas are another top choice. The grilled steak platter w beans, rice, corn tortillas, cheese and chismol (diced tomatoes, onion, like juice and cilantro.) Last but not least if you're a soup lover, "sopa de Rez" will definetly leave you wanting more, made as if it were sent straight from grandmas kitchen in Honduras ! Hope this review helps you decide on what you shall devour in this great hidden treasure. read more

Foods delicious and large portions! I'm giving it 3 stars because the young waiter we had left us unattended for more than 30 minutes and another waiter had to step in. We're from out of state and wanted to try something new, so we asked for a little time to view the menu. After 30 minutes of waiting and having the young waiter walk past us 3 times, without acknowledging us; another waiter noticed. He then asked if we have ordered and we replied no. He respectfully took our order and came to check on us repeatedly. Foods great but don't expect great service. read more

Food was amazing, huge portions, and at excellent prices. My husband and I ordered the sampler platter with grilled beef, grilled pork, fried plantains, pupusas(?) and other good things and it was so huge I don't know we also ordered each a plate special with tons of rice and beans and sides (mine pork chop, his beef), so of course we couldn't finish everything. I'm glad for the takeaway though, coz we got to have it for dinner as well. We came here on a whim, looking for a place nearby to eat at after a trip to the dollar store for party supplies, and I'm so glad we chose Paseo Catracho. Place was clean and server was friendly enough. Come hungry, come with friends. read more

This place has great lunch specials and combos! I ordered the #7 combo which included the stuffed plantain and super baleada. The plantain was stuffed with re-fried beans, cheese, and a buttery cream. The sweetness of the plantain combined with the other toppings made it taste so delicious! The baleada was stuffed with carne asada, re-fried beans, cheese, and a buttery cream. It was really good except my baleada was a little bit cold. This dish costs about $8 and includes a soda or natural juice. I recommend this place for lunch and I'll definitely be back for that stuffed platano! What I didn't like, aside from my baleada being cold, was that the place looked abandoned from the outside! I would've walked right passed it if it weren't for my coworkers. Holes in the wall are great but they should spruce it up at least a little! There was also a slight funky smell inside. But other than that it was great! As far as parking, there's a parking lot behind the restaurant and street parking along 8th Street. read more

This place is the go to fix for Honduras food. The service is usually very bad but I guess that's to be expected when you're eating in a dive. But the food is always good and that's the most important thing. The anfres are great and the pollo cebeno is very good as well. Give this place a try. read more

The serves are extremely rude, always have an attitude. When you order to go, they never give you the corresponding food, they never give you the add-ins you ask for, then when you go to check your food at the restaurant they get mad at you for checking to see if you have all the food you ordered. At the end of the day very poor service. read more

I first went to Paseo Catracho a year ago with some coworkers and ordered the largest sample platter they had and it did not disappoint, I would highly recommend it. I ordered it again for myself and some friends a couple days ago and it is still as delicious as it was a year ago. It can easily feed 3-4 people and it includes a great variety of food. I also loved their horchata and I can't wait to come back again! read more

As one of Honduran descent, this is one of the best if not the best Honduran restaurants of the 40+ that exist in the Metro Miami area. From the typical dish, the Baleadas to Beef Soup to the Ceibena asada, they have delicious dishes. The service is also top notch. read more

RESTAURANT: I just know that this location is going to be beautiful. Chef Morimoto restaurants are worldwide and so I was not disappointed to see how beautiful this restaurant was and how perfectly complemented the vibe of the Wynwood scene. The restaurant doors open to the street, which was perfect during our winter visit. Inside is an open floor plan with a variety of seating options from the izakaya style table, banquet dining against the wall, to the huge bar. There are even covered seating outside that reminded me of New York. Decor is both minimal but with burst of colors with his signature wall art and backlit panels against the wall. And ofcourse, it won't be an authentic Japanese restaurant without the a display of hyper-realistic food models which can be found as soon as you enter the restaurant to entice your taste buds. Everything just looked sleaked and clean and love the pop of green from the huge fig trees. SERVICE: Service was amazing. From the moment we entered, we were greeted and seated right away for our reservation. Our server answered all of our questions and suggested some fruity cocktails. And lo and behold, owner Chef Morimoto himself presented us with our food and torched it right infront of us! He was so polite and humble and wonderful. We watched him moved from one side of the restaurant to the other with the endurance of a guy in his 20s and he's like 60 something! He did not stop. It was such a treat to have him in our table and how he indulged us when we chanted "Iron Chef! Iron Chef!". It was an amazing experience. The buns warm and pillowy. The pork, so tender. But that soft shell crab...that made me want to slap someone it was so good. Flavorful, no fishiness whatsoever, crunch on the outside and just happiness on the inside. I will eat a million of these. Then my friend ordered some Yakitori fresh from the grill: chicken, pork belly, shrimp, wagyu. They were simple, fresh and so fingerlicking good. Then the ramen; tonkotsu and gyukotsu. On this cold evening, it was exactly what we needed. These two huge bowls we passed around our table of six. The broth were divine! The pork belly was so delicate that it melts in your mouth. The beef falling off the bones were so tender and delicious. Sushi rolls: spider roll and the surf and turf. The spider roll with that soft shell crab was bomb. But the that A5 wagyu surf and turf was the star of the show. It comes out as raw slices on a roll and Chef Morimoto came out and torched it himself next to our table! I don't know if it tasted spectacular because it's wagyu or because the chef himself had torched it but this was my favorite! Overall, this was the most memorable dining experience I've had in a long time. I am sure that fangirling over the Iron Chef was the main reason but it seems that everything just fell into place for us that evening. Parking was literally next door in the garage, super easy no drama. Service was next level, maybe because the boss was there but we were not going to complain. And the food, impeccable! Pricepoint is just reasonable considering the quality, quantity and the location. It is definitely worth the trip coming here and I can't wait to visit again soon to see if everything will be the same without the Chef Morimoto around. I have a feeling it will be just as wonderful.

Tonight i went to eat at Paseo Catracho with my grilfriend , we always go there to eat every Sunday , but we decided to eat on a Saturday night , this time it was not like before , the service was very slow there were only like 4 tables 5 with us , a lot of girls doing nothing by the juice machine well actually they were eating , i kept looking at them to call they attention but nothing we waited like 15 minutes for our waitress , i ordered a baleada for appetizer so i can share it with my girlfriend , baleada with a smear if beans (i couldnt taste the beans because they were nothing) , a little bit of mantequilla and no side plates not only that it was cold , terrible , entrees came cold 2 carnes asadas , to weel done that i could taste the burn meat on the sides , a little bit of beans again a small portion of white rice ( i think they changed the cup were they put it ) to a smaller size , the salad small , the tajaditas pale not properly cooked and we had to wait for them , and the portion of the meat was 2 thin strips of carne asada come on now cant be like that we always go there to eat and we love your food but this time i had to say it , i hope you guys didnt change your cook or are trying to cut the portions because that is the reason the good restaurants go down , after doing good try to cheat your costumers i am sorry but this time i didnt like anything , and the waitress was nice after all butvthe damage was already done. Paseo Catracho does what it says on the tin, it is a corner of Honduras in Miami's Calle 8 district. The ambience is nice and relaxed, welcoming to both families and friends and the menu is Honduran classics that are well performed and served in mean servings so you won't be left begging for more. Service is good and the staff is happy to explain to you what each plate is and orient you as to how much will be enough. I called back to cancel my order and they didn't even apologize for the inconvenience.
