As representatives of the Wynwood Chamber of Commerce, my colleagues and I have frequently conducted casual meetings with our prospective members, board of directors, and advisors at this establishment. We've regularly dined here, enjoyed coffee, and supported Pastis as a meeting place. However, today, despite arriving with a prospective member and seeing over 18 tables open and available at noon, management refused to seat us, citing a focus on serving Miami Spice guests and claiming they were "busy." We intended to have coffee and potentially order food if the occasion called for it. Considering our past patronage and the business we have brought to this establishment, this experience was incredibly disappointing. We left and have since taken our business and clients elsewhere and will not be returning to Pastis in the future. read more
