It was cachaca, pistachio orgeat, lemon, meletti, and cherry bark vanilla bitters. I love pistachio and I love amaro so it seemed like a good direction for me to go in. The presentation wasn't much but I was really pleased with the flavor! It was one of those drinks I had to force myself not to chug because it was that drinkable. All my friends seemed to like their drinks too. We were only here for an hour or so but I'd definitely return the next time I'm in Chicago.

Was I supposed to order coffee and then put hot sauce in this sandwich. Regardless, the sandwich definitely hit the spot. Don't think I've ever had a sandwich with pastrami and eggs before. There is a long ramp at the side of the building which a wheelchair can navigate. There is a bit of bump to cross the threshhold into the covered patio in back. There are low tops in the patio, the bar area, and the dining room. There is another bump to roll over to get into the dining room, but it is manageable. The men's bathroom can accommodate a wheelchair, but the stall is not be enough for a wheelchair to get in - transferring could be difficult/not possible depending on one's individual situation. There is a parking lot, but a HC accessible spot would be a great addition. Plenty of street parking as well.

For you folks with dogs, beer drinkers who drink beyond the basic beers, bubble drinkers (like me) and those that want to bring in their own food...this is your place. We went there to meet some friends and to watch some football. For such a small place, they do have plenty of TVs with multiple games going. It was great to be able to have pizza delivered, with the bartender providing paper plates, and napkins for us to use. The bartender was also very cool about bringing our drinks over or picking up empties as we were sitting a a table away from the bar. I didn't get his name, but he was cool. There is street parking but not on Peterson itself. I would say, depending on the day, it might be hard to find a spot as you have to park on Ridge or some of the side streets. There is a new Metra station down the street that is about 2 blocks from the bar. Not sure if there is public parking available, but worth checking out. I could see myself coming here just because I can bring my own food and still get bubbles. While they do not carry bubbles by the bottle, the stuff they had in the can was good. I would love to go there when the weather is nicer and they have the garage doors open. And it is a happy compromise to hanging out with friends who have dogs that they just can't live without who also like to drink. The building itself is a multi-room plus patio affair, all in brick with hardwood floors and warm lighting. When you first walk in, you have to show your ID since this is an adults-only bar establishment. (1) You can then choose to sit in the front bar area, if you want a full menu, but use the bar for ordering service. (2) If you keep walking through the front bar area, you reach the host stand at the top of the ramp. This is where you can put your name in to sit in the main dining room, upstairs, or outside. (3) However, you can also walk through to the left of the host stand to another bar area that has full menus, but bar service for ordering. This is our preferred spot because we can often find a seat and order with the bar. Do note that, during busy times, part of this bar area is managed by the host stand and will be labeled as such. The extensive beer menu is our favorite. We have our favorite food items, so all our decision making revolves around which beer we will get. They always have a bit of everything style-wise, from all over the world, but with a local-brewery focus. Seasonal emphasis is also taken into consideration when they curate the beer list. It is always rotating and we love it! Beers are served in the recommended glasses from the breweries. It's a great drinking experience from start to finish! Our food orders are eternally set: I get the Nueske Ham sandwich with fries and aioli. My husband gets the Reuben sandwich with fries and aioli. This meal is so perfect we'll probably never get anything different, despite the menu being delicious across the board. The wildest we get is sometimes splitting the two sandwiches. My friend and I originally sat on the patio, i took advantage of a great happy hour deal and ordered a flight of margaritas. One of the drinks was a spicy margarita and it had yummy tahini salt on the rim of the glass. Eventually, the bees on the patio drover us inside where we sat at the bar to finish our drinks. The bartender didn't seem too thrilled to have us there, which was odd because, at the time, the place had only 4 other customers sitting inside. The bartender never approached us, or acknowledged us in any way. i finished my drinks and wanted another spicy margarita. Since the bartender obviously didn't want to wait on us, I ordered it from our original server. The restaurant still wasn't busy but it took 15 minutes to get my margarita. when it finally arrived, it had no salt on the rim, but my server scurried away so quickly, i didnt have a chance to ask her about it. It took me another 10 minutes to get the bartender's attention, and when I asked, "Isn't there supposed to be salt on the rim?" She rudely informed me, "No, only if you ask for it'" I told her that nobody had asked me if I wanted salt on the rim earlier, and it just came that way so I assumed they were all prepared the same way, she literally turned her back on me and slammed the container of rim salt onto the bar. When I said, "wow! Whats that about?" She yelled at me and said I didn't know how to make a request and i needed to change my tone. I was a server for many years, so I know how stressful food service can be, but, if I ever spoke to a customer the way I was spoken to this evening, I would have been dismissed on the spot. i am a standard 25% tipper, and I do not expect preferential treatment, nor do I think the 'customer is always right', but, I do assume Ill be treated with common courtesy when I decide to spend my $$ at a restaurant. My fiancé ordered the veggie burger without cheese. My fiancé doesn't eat a lot but finished the veggie burger. I devoured the Drippin burger and it was really filling. I don't know what the Drippin sauce is but it was delicious! The fries and sauce was awesome too. I didn't even finish the fries because I was full. But i ate the leftovers at home, air fried some potatoes and mixed the sauce and it was still so good! Service was great, the server was very courteous and the food came out in a good time. In terms of soda though, its can and not fountain. It's not a deal breaker for me but I know it can be for others. The ambiance is pretty chill especially at a small location with a few seats. I will say, it is kind of pricey but small mom and pops burger restaurant, in Chicago, I totally understand the prices.
