Farther from their food truck/east side location than I'd have thought but very much worth the 30 min drive. Love that Patrizi's has a brick and mortar location! Everything is still 100, they did not slip on quality, service or price by expanding. Their staff are all so friendly, giving serious "you're part of our fam" vibes. The pasta is amazing, having the perfect bite/chewiness with all the flavor you could ask for. Get the garlic bread, it won't disappoint. The cocktails are delicious, too. The orange drink is a popular one; porch sipper is incredibly refreshing; Rusty's calvo is an amazing balance of citrus and the rum is *chef's kiss*. Hubs had the IWC (like the OG old fashion?), which is raved was a new favorite cocktail of his. Amazing! The whole experience was wonderful and the atmosphere was great. Our food was so delicious and gives me more hope that there's good Italian food in Austin. The cheesy focaccia was THE BEST. I had the Carbonara Alexandra and highly recommend. All the drinks we got were great too, the orange drink was my favorite. Indoor seating is a little limited, but there's plenty of seating outside too. There's also a large yard where kids and dogs can run around. I didn't notice any plastic while there. All silverware and trays to be reused, drinks in glass jars and compostable straws. They also had their produce and other herbs/additions to drinks in jars too. I really love that part because reducing waste on a large scale that restaurants can do has a positive impact! We will be back for sure! read more

Wow! Just Wow! I was happy to hear we had a new restaurant in our beloved Nieghborhood. But this was beyond my expectations. The pasta is homemade!!! And it shows!!! I had the pasta with pesto and mushrooms. My husband had the pasta with meatballs. The garlic bread has actual roasted garlic. This pasta is truly amazing. I can't even! Nom nom nom nom nom nom! Homemade pasta!!! The real deal. This is a mom and pop establishment that was started on the mid century. I can't be happier to have them in our hood. I'll be gaining a few lbs.... WORTH IT! Went here for lunch right at 1pm on a weekday this summer. We decided to come to this location versus their main, other one, as we heard this one was far less popular and trafficked. Word on the street was right, as it was so slow that we were the only customers in there at the time, so service was prompt. Staff was personable, knowledgeable, & friendly. We both ordered the patrizi's salad and the non-alcoholic, pomegranate shirley. Both of us thoroughly enjoyed our salads & shirleys! The chicken thighs on the salad were juicy and extremely tender, and the veggies on the salad were crisp & fresh. While skeptical at first that they didn't have any ranch dressing on hand, i was pleasantly surprised at how much i loved their house vinaigrette dressing on the salad! They just opened this location, so we decided to visit after hearing good things about the East Side location. Would 100% recommend trying this out. It's a bit removed from the rest of Austin but it's worth the trip! Ordered carbonara and pormodoro, with a side of cheesy foccocia. Everything was over the top delicious, and you could tell the recipes were perfected over time with love. This was the freshest pasta I have had in Austin so far! Also ordered three drinks: Rusty's clavo, porch sipper, and orange drink. They were served in medium sized mason jars and were refreshingly unique. All of the workers were very nice and they cleared tables quickly. When we arrived the parking lot was almost full and there was only seating outdoors. This was around 615 on a Friday evening. I'll admit I was pretty hyped up to try out Patrizi brick & motor location after hearing such great things about their food truck on the eastside. After trying it for myself here's what I have to say about my experience. First let's talk about the food as it hit all the check marks for me. I ended up getting their side salad with their meatball sub for lunch. Meatball was delicious and served sliced in half with a good sauce to meat ratio which made it super easy to eat without being really messy as most meatball subs usually are. Next let's discuss the location as it's spacious with ample seating inside and outside with plenty of parking. Lovely to see a restaurant that compliments the neighborhood and still be approachable with casual ordering & pricing. Lastly was the service which was probably the only mishap for me. Not sure if it was just a awkward day or if it's a new restaurant working out the kinks but both the hostess and server seemed to be all over the place. The hostess wasn't super familiar with the menu when we tried ordering and the waitress was also playing bartender but didn't really know how to make most of the drinks not to mention they only had a drink menu on the screens which weren't working when we came in. They managed as best as they could and eventually got the screen to work but it was kind of odd there were no printed menus or even a drink menu listed online as this is pretty standard across most restaurants these days. Overall okay experience but I think I would wait to come back til they get some of their service issues worked out a bit. Would love to try their pastas out for dinner on the patio once the weather cools down later this year! read more

A GEM. the food: insane. I have had pasta and this mushroom risotto dish there and both were mouth-watering good. The service: fast, friendly, fun, and attentive. What else could you ask for? You really get a good bang for your buck here. We got 3 pastas, salad, beets, bread, and a meatball all for 50 bucks!!! Rare these days with inflation running loose. An amazing experience, top to bottom! This Patrizi's is tucked back on Cuernavaca, but it's absolutely worth the trip. When you walk in, you immediately notice there's a very strange parking spot: indoor space ratio. Up front, there are maybe 5 spots, but the indoor seating is pretty generous. There are actually two counters, one for food and one for drinks. The food counter will be to your right as you enter. If you're there during peak times, you'll have to do separate transactions for food & cocktails. We rolled up on a Saturday afternoon and had the place all to ourselves, so they were able to put everything on one ticket. It's tough to go wrong with anything on the menu. We had the meatball sandwich, the roquefort salad and the mushroom foccacia. All were incredible! As other folks have noted, you can't order pasta until 4PM, though we hear the pasta is incredible. Our server pointed out that the chicken parm is NOT breaded and is dark meat, so if you go in expecting a traditional chicken parm, think twice. Since we were at an Italian joint, I had to have a negroni, which was actually really well made (and reasonably priced!). It wasn't drowned in campari and overly bitter like a lot of negronis are. Most of the cocktails are in the $10-11 range, which is downright cheap by Austin standards! They have a small back deck with a performance space, which leads to a much larger lawn that has a much larger performance space. Where do all of these people park? That's a problem for future me. For now, I'm content to have found a very, very rad Italian spot! read more

Patrizi's Cuernavaca is a great spot for delicious, fresh Italian food. I've only been for lunch, so I haven't had any of the pastas, but their salads and sandwiches are so delicious. Healthy, fast service, and not overpriced. They have tasty mocktail options, which I love. Everyone has always been super friendly here. The kitchen staff let us have a free beet dish they were practicing, and it was also tasty tasty. It is a little bit of a drive to get here, but it's worth it! read more

Patrizi's is amazing! There isn't a shortage note thing about this restaurant that isn't top notch. The garlic bread is delicious-toasted, soft bread with chunks of roasted garlic. Don't let the made from scratch thing fool you. The food was disgusting to say the least. Instead of cacio e Pepe, I got Pepe e Pepe. The garlic bread was only 2 sticks for $7 and was not worth it. The buttered noodles tasted really strong. The pasta with red sauce and meatballs was probably the most gross. It was cold and doused in onions and had a taste that we can't really describe it, it was just not good at all. It seems that they douse ingredients in that make it so overbearing. New brick and mortar location of Patrizi's just opened less than 10 minutes from my office so I decided to check it out with some coworkers one evening. The location is a little remote for most people but it worked out for me. There was absolutely no wait when we got there around 5PM. I've always waited close to an hour to get my food when eating at the Patrizi's food truck on Manor Road. They also have a full service bar that serves cocktails and it seemed like they have a fuller menu. I had my usual carbonara pasta, which was delicious per usual, and I couldn't tell a difference from the food truck version. Recommend Patrizi's fans to come check out this location to avoid the wait! read more

We have been regulars at the Manor Road location and wanted to give this one a try, and we were rewarded for the drive out here. Pasta isn't served until 5 pm, so we had two of the best sandwiches ever. The focaccia is made in house, and the fillings were so fresh. We also split a small house salad which was equally delicious and fresh. Along with some cocktails and a super friendly staff, we were impressed. Really enjoyed our trek to the Patrizi's brick and mortar. From the food truck, which we live closer to, it's about 14 miles away. It was an enjoyable drive on the weekend going up bee caves road; though I'd probably avoid this road during the work week. I neglected to check that pasta is served after 4 but they have pretty good lunch menu with salads and sandwiches. I opted for the muffuletta. This is a better version with fresh focaccia bread, home made olive spread, and house made mortadella. I was afraid that the muffuletta was going to be salty but it was just right; perfect. I also got a salad just to balance the meal and the vegetables were slightly charred which let the dressing absorb into the vegetables perfectly. It wasn't too vinegary or oily!The location is stunning and it's a nice place to hang out on a weekend afternoon. They also have a great drink selection so have a beverage or two. read more

Just went here a couple of hours ago and it was such a great experience. Literally everyone that works there is so nice, it's like scary how nice they were. From the second we walked up to second we left, it was nothing but welcoming. Everyone was so so helpful and always on it. The food was also so yummy. The cheesecake was literally the best cheesecake I've ever had. I thought it was a trap or I was in gonna be in some cult because everyone was that nice but it was seriously great. I grew up in NY and learned to cook from my Italian Grandma. So, yeah, I'm going to be picky about Italian food, haha, and there has not been a lot that's impressed me here in Austin. Patrizi's new brick & mortar is not only a conveniently short drive for me, but they make truly legit Italian food. And, they seem to have hired the friendliest teenagers I've ever met - they are incredibly excited you're there, every time. I salute you! I've tried a number of pasta dishes so far, including the Cacio e Pepe, the Red Sauce, and the Lemon Thyme. The pasta is always super fresh - they make it there right on site, and the sauces were all really good, but I was surprised that I liked the Lemon Thyme the best. But, even their simple red sauce is about as good as I could make myself, without having to slave over a hot stove for a couple of days. I love the half upscale / half casual atmosphere. It's perfect for the Austin come-as-you-are mentality. Their cocktails are fun and the names are all nods to the history & characters of the Cuerny neighborhood (when you know you know!) - I'm slowly working my way through their drinks menu. Favorite so far is the Porch Sipper. Two things I might ask management to consider down the road: 1) Expanding the menu, just a little, to offer a couple of traditional meat-based main courses, like chicken parmigiana / marsala / piccata, and a couple more vegetable options, like a sautéed broccoli. I love the food, but if I came in more often, I might weigh 1000 lbs. 2) Hosting some fun neighborhood events (with others welcome of course), like neighborhood musicians, art showings, book readings, football watch parties, etc. Would love to see this place get even more integrated into Cuerny life, and we have so many talented, creative people here. read more

We're visiting from out of town and this restaurant was recommended to us. Unfortunately our experience was not very good. Service was good, and the food would have been good also. However, my wife's food arrived lukewarm, mine was a little better but not as hot as it should have been. By the time a staff member asked about the food, and said they would bring her a fresh order, she had eaten some and was no longer hungry but they brought it anyway. We're traveling so a 'doggie bag' wasn't feasible for us. The staff was nice enough about this but I definitely feel that the food and overall experience wasn't worth the $60 that I paid. Walk-up counter service with fresh handmade pasta each evening. Get there early before it runs out. If you happen to arrive post-pasta, however, you can get the risotto and walk away happy. They make the best house salad in ATX, and their sandwiches and pizzas are wonderful as well. Lovely atmosphere and super friendly staff. Great food! Usually friendly service. Tonight we swung by for take-out. Can't order or call ahead yet, but we didn't think the wait would be too long. We even asked the guy we ordered from how long we would be waiting, and he said not long. 20 minutes later we asked again, and he said it should be out soon. 40 minutes after ordering, we finally got our food. They forgot one item and luckily we checked before leaving so we caught it before we drove away. They need to figure out how to allow orders ahead online, like they do at their other location.
