This is classic Chicago pizza. Thin, crispy and satisfying. As for the service, friendly and efficient as I ordered online and it's carry out only unless you're looking to sit at one of the two tables in the small store front. They use an old Faulds Oven. If you see one of these the odds of getting a good pizza are almost 100 percent. To get the best flavor from the pizza let it cool down a bit before eating. One other thing I thought I should add. They still have their own delivery drivers. I hate that most delivery has been taken over by uber or door dash.

Pat's is my GO-TO when I'm craving good, thin and crispy pizza!! Staff is also always friendly.

We got it to go while visiting family who lives close to Pat's. It was great. Our family was insistent that we get fries. Fries with pizza? Whatever. It was delivered. The staff gave us great service while we seconded what we were getting. We opened up the pizzas, had salad and demolished those fries! I don't know why, but those fries as great. We got the sausage with garlic crust. If you are a fan of garlic, that's the way to go. It was fun, good and provided a great, easy, crowd-pleasing meal with family.

The middle of my medium pizza was almost raw.

I was excited to try a pizza from here after reading and watching numerous reviews. I've also had many Chicagoans tell me "don't sleep on the tavern style thin crust." The pizza came warm, intact, and with two receipts placed on the actual pizza. The receipts were soaked in so much grease that they became translucent and actually blended like a topping among the meats and pepperonis. The first slice had the routine undercarriage inspection: a light leoparding pattern akin to a morning toast that dinged ready but could use another minute. As I approached the slices that were towards the center of the pie, I gasped in horror as the center revealed an undercarriage was whiter that last night's snowfall. This pizza was bordering raw. This was one of the worst pizzas I've ever eaten outside of an LAUSD meal-ticket school lunch pizza. Pat's- can you please explain to me what happened?

Really good authentic Chicago thin crust pizza! I ordered the Pat's Special which is sausage, green pepper, mushroom, onion. I ordered online and my pizza was hot & ready when I arrived. The service was super quick and friendly as well. Five stars!

Speaking of the bar, I got myself a pint of the Golden Road Mango Cart, which did have a fragrance of mangoes. I was a bit annoyed the bartender asked for my ID thinking I was a high schooler (I guess white people in Chicago generally don't have any meaningful relationship with Asians compared to other major cities because this wasn't a one time thing - and I've been to a lot of cities), but at least he tried to smooth it out with a joke. Fine, moving on. I got myself a personal deep dish pizza, since this joint is known for their caramelized crust, although I did wish I got myself a small instead so I can have it delivered in the pan itself. Maybe next time, but I did eat the whole thing. The sauce was more on the bitter and acidic side. The toppings aren't layered and hiding underneath cheese like some other places, which is fine, but I did think it could've used more mushrooms and a more even distribution of toppings considering how thick the bread is. Overall it was worth going out of my way to try it once, as it was highly recommended to me, I'd say it takes #2 so far of all the pizza places I've tried in Chicago. Granted, I didn't have time or didn't come with anyone to share a bunch of things, but maybe next time.

The wood‑paneled coziness,…read morethe dim lighting, the slightly chaotic entryway where a host with a clipboard controls the fate of your evening... it all sets the tone for a meal that's equal parts ritual and indulgence. They push the Mediterranean Bread, and honestly, you should let them. It's enormous, blistered, fragrant, and arrives like a hot air balloon made of carbs. More importantly, it gives you something genuinely delicious to tear into while you wait for the pizza pot pies to emerge from whatever subterranean chamber they're baked in. It's both a starter and a survival tool. A reservation is non‑negotiable unless you enjoy contemplating your own mortality in a weekend crowd. The wait times can stretch so long you could starve to death before your name is called -- and the regulars will nod knowingly as they step around your skeleton. Plan ahead. The salads are comically oversized, the kind of portions that make you wonder if they're meant for a family of four or a single very determined marathon runner. But let's be honest: no one is here for lettuce. We're all here for the pizza pot pie, that molten, bread‑wrapped, cheese‑laden dome of joy that defies every attempt at categorization. It's not deep dish, it's not thin crust -- it's its own thing entirely, and that's the point. This is the place you bring out‑of‑town guests when you want to show them something uniquely Chicago without defaulting to the usual deep‑dish suspects. But it's also the place you come back to on your own, because once you've had that pizza pot pie, it lives rent‑free in your brain until you return.
