First problem, they dont sell slices of meat lovers like the one in NewCastle so I had to get a med size pizza,. Second problem one of the girls kept staring at me like she never saw a black person. Have eaten there quite a few times when I happen to be in town. On Aug 9, 2019 my brother and I stopped for lunch. Half way through our hamburgers we both felt something wasn't right. The meat was bad. Smelled rancid. I told a member of the staff we were leaving and she might want to have someone check the meat. She said she would get the manager so I waited. She came back out and was surprised as was I the manager never showed. Waited a couple of minutes, no manager so I left. My brother is a transplant patient and his immune system is compromised. This is a one star because I am sitting at a table for a few minutes with four people at the front counter looking right at me and no one said a word. My server who I didn't know yet, was busy. She is very sweet, but I feel someone should have helped out or something instead of doing nothing but standing around looking at me. Like they lost their voice. I was very disappointed in Pat's Pizzeria in Elkton, MD on Monday, December 18, 2017. My previous visits were very positive but not this time. At 2 PM they were not busy and three waitresses were hanging around the cash register. My husband and I sat at a booth and when no one came to help us, I went to the counter and asked if a waitress could come to our booth. I was told no, I had to order at the counter. Previous visits included waitress bringing menus, etc. Since my husband is in poor health, I said that if a waitress could not come to my booth I would have to go somewhere else. The waitress said "OK". So we left. On the way out, a customer commented that there was no reason a waitress could not have been sent to our booth. That made three unsatisfied customers. read more

I used to work at this location and I can honestly say its the only kitchen I truly trust. It's clean. The food is clean, the sinks and prep area are clean, the cooks are clean, the fryers and vents are cleaned every week. Some restaurants leave me wondering "is the kitchen gonna give me food poisoning ?" I never have to worry about Pat's in Elkton. And the new menu items are delish! read more

Ok so I'll say something positive first about Pats. The pizza is very good. I was suprised. Ok so this is my third time going to Pats. I should 've learned my lesson the first two times. The first time I ordered a cheese steak wrap and it came out medium well(which I didn't ask for). They offered to make me another, I said no and just helped my daughter eat her chicken strips. The second time we had yummy burgers and I got down to the last bite to find a piece of hair in my burger(gross). Last night we went just to support my daughter's school and my husband got sliders. They were not sliders they were piece of a burger ripped into some kind of shape..lol I didn't complain to the managers because they didn't even speak when we walked in.The staff at the counter did. The manager actually was standing there and texting on his phone(very unprofessional). Soooo now I see why I stopped going. Maybe I'll check out the one in North east. Awful! Came to town on a Saturday night and decided we didn't want McDonalds or Applebys and the hotel had this restaurants menu. We decided to try it. We ordered the potato skins appetizer, my son had a steak and Cheese sub, I had ravioli and my husband had the lasagna. Everything was cold, after microwaved and drenched in red sauce. The sausage that came with the ravoli tasted bad. I took two bites, decided it was totally Inedible. Ended up eating McDonalds after all. I don't think I have ver had such awful food! read more

They have a really good variety so you can get more than just pizza. Their subs are good and their wings are well above average. The staff can be a little off and not very interactive, BUT I just had an oriental chicken salad there with a side of fries and it was perfect. A wonderful size and they loaded me with chicken in it!!! Places 99% of the time are skimpy with meat in their salads, but they gave me the absolute perfect amount. I ordered delivery, paid for my food and brought it upstairs and the cheese had slid off the pizza so I called and told the cashier what happened so they went and told the manager and they got on the phone and told me there was nothing he could do about it bc anything could have happened mind u I called 2 minutes after the driver left wanted nothing free just to replace the pizza with a new one he gave me a really hard time but ended up doing it however they wouldn't redeliver it if I wanted it I would have to pick it up! I was so irritated at this situation by now I just went and traded my slid cheese pizza for a good one. I promise you I will never ever order food here again! Warning regarding menu items/prices. Be sure to check out what is included in a meal and what is not or you will get burnt. Order a cheese steak sandwich? The lettuce is included, the onion and pickles are included. . . but you will be charged 25cents for that slice of tomato. How about a Chef Salad? Prefer feta cheese rather than mozzarella? Fine - no problem. Then notice that the agreeable waitress charged you an additional $1.00 for the switch. It really is not the money that is of concern. It is the principle involved in this nickel and diming of customers. Inform us of extras! And Pat's might really want to rethink charging $2.00 for a glass of soda. read more

Worst service ever!! There were three of us and they only gave us two menus and then the server tried to rush us into placing our order, before giving us enough time to look at the menu and share the two menus that we had. Then we tried to place the order and she claimed they didn't have something that was noted on the menu. I guess they did not feel like cooking it. We decided that we did not want to stay there. I went to the counter complaint and told him we are paying for our food and leaving. In hindsight we should've just walked out without buying the food. As we were being rung up I noticed the six or seven employees behind the counter giving us nasty looks. A couple of them even made comments. I asked the guy behind the counter if he was the manager and he said yes. I don't believe that he was because he was not empathetic to our needs and our concerns until I asked him if he was the manager. He and the other staff were more concerned about the servers feelings than about how botched up she made the whole experience for a customer. What poor examples of customer service we experience tonight. I hope the owner of this restaurant sees this looks at the staff schedule for Friday night and reprimands the employees that he put in charge of his business or her business. I could give this place more stars, but I cannot due to inconsistent service. My second time there visiting with family from out of state...same problem both times! Waitress was nice, however, at the end of the meal, when all the dirty dishes were just sitting there, she felt it was more necessary to clean another table (there were only two other tables with people eating) than come and clean our table off so we could continue with a birthday celebration. She wouldn't even look over at us until she was done. Waitresses should be trained to ALWAYS watch their tables and check on them in case someone wants or needs something. ADDITIONALLY, the waitress asked my 76 year old father for I.D. when he ordered a beer. That is very insulting and disrespectful! I'm a former worker at Pat's, and they treat their employees HORRIBLY. This place is sketchy as hell. They overwork underaged kids, refused to give us breaks unless we worked 8 hours or more (when they're legally required to after 5), regularly had us on the schedule for more than the legally allowed time of work and school combined, etc. The managers made us fetch things for them like we were their slaves, including making minors go to the tobacco shop next door and buy them cigarettes. Sexual harassment is common here - one of the managers told a cashier that her glasses made her look "like a porn star". I'm gay and whenever a same-sex couple would come in, one of my the managers would ask me if I would have sex with them, as well as asking me if "I liked black cock". I wish I was kidding. Asian Garden a few doors down is the same way. One time a group of girls that were overweight came in, turned in their applications, and the manager ripped them up as soon as they walked out without even looking at them. The same happened to a girl who was black. They don't hire people that they find "unattractive". Employees are AFRAID to say something for fear of being fired or blackmailed.
