This restaurant never disappoints! I have been there a few times and it has become my favorite restaurant in Seal Beach. The service and food is amazing and wine knowledge and selections are great. My last review was when Patty was the owner so I wanted to update this review. Still the same and not much has changed only the menu somewhat. We have met the new boss, Nick! He is very nice and likes to pass by your table to say hi on every visit. Still nice and quiet and food that is second to none! Our most recent trip, we were lucky to have our favorite waitress Rosemary! She is so friendly and helpful and always great at suggestions when we ask. A very great special this time was the 16oz Wagyu rib-eye steak. Wow!!! So good I highly recommend. My wife enjoyed the shrimp fettuccine which was great. For dessert was their famous key-lime pie! A must when you go! I usually add a slice of their cheesecake to go for the next morning with my coffee. Outstanding! I also want to mention their wine list here which is very extensive and fabulous. The have some very sophisticated selections and just ask for help if you're not sure. We typically bring our own bottle and are glad to pay the $30 corkage fee. We are always happy how well they take great care to open and pour our wine and offer to decanter if needed. I also will say the bar hasn't missed a beat and still carries a great selection of spirits. My favorite bourbon Knob Creek is always on hand with a generous pour. If you want a great meal I still highly recommend Patty's Place with my highest rating of 5 stars!! read more

More then just a place, it's thee PLACE! Great service, bevs / bites and vibe at Patty Place. This is an incredible venue and dinning experience. The restaurant layout is fun plus welcoming amidst a comfortable ambiance and decor. Stellar bar seating with a wonderful array of unique various wines, top notch spirit, beer and truly something for everyone. The entire staff is kind, passionate and extremely knowledgeable. It's an overall pro team with pleasant service and liveliness. The food menu has all the comforts you'd want and more, the entire kitchen team drives the culinary experience at an elevated level. This place is a hybrid of a local bar and fine dining. Good food and Drinks. Our waitress/host was friendly. I did not catch her name, but she is of Asian decent. Great customer service skills and always attended to us. Awesome job. The owner was cool AF! He was professional and friendly. Asked if we enjoyed ourselves at our stay here. On the other hand, there was a Caucasian host that came on too strong. Little on the aggressive side. We were standing there waiting on a table that was previously reserved. She came up to us like we had no business here.. first thing came out of her mouth.. do you have reservations? In a tone of aggressiveness. I looked at her and replied yes. Then she walked away. Hello Patty'a Place, I was in Friday February 20,2026. I sat at the bar with Kurtis. He was the best bartender ever! I got an espresso martini and it was the best one I've ever had. Service was good. No complaints about the service. Food was good. I had Prime Rib, French Fries, Broccoli and Bread and Butter to eat along with "wooder" to drink. Men's room was clean and had paper towels. I would not have gone there to eat as this restaurant is a bit spendy but my mother wanted to try it and she was paying so I went along with her wishes. She also had Prime Rib though with different sides. Their smallest Prime Rib was 56$ before taxes for one person. Salad was not included and cost extra starting at about 15$. For the price of the entrees I think some sort of salad ought to be included. For that reason I am deducting one point. Otherwise, great place if you have money to burn. read more

Patty's Place is always good. Especially if one sits on the patio where it is quiet. Best items - Asian Pear salad, Ceviche, and don't forget their Lamb Lollipops with roasted vegetables. Both hit the spot. Do not miss the filet mignon beef strogonoff, with mushrooms and papardelle pasta. Good drinks and a wine list for every palate. For dessert the simple dish of Raspberries and vanilla ice cream - and the shot of Chambord you pour over the ice cream and berries makes it a delightful and refreshing end to a good meal. read more

Went here our first time on our date night last Thursday. We were graciously greeted by an amazing friendly and very informative hostess Leslie. We Grabbed a seat in bar so we could enjoy the HH $2 off any drink and were told they would happily move us into dining room for dinner. Had some just ok deviled eggs but our server in lounge Marie was such an upbeat server and on top of everything including great recommendations on wines we asked if we could just stay in the bar area to have her serve us. So glad we did! She was absolutely a joy and made our whole night special. Hats off to the kitchen for one of the best bone in Rib Eye Steaks we've ever tasted. Marie recommended! We also had the sea bass. My gf loved it. We were sharing and my bites had cooled so will rely on her review that it too was great! What an amazing first time experience my husband and I had this evening at Patty's place. We have been wanting to try this restaurant for a while now and I'm so glad tonight we were able to. We kept seeing it all over our Instagram and added it to our date light list. They opened at 4 so we called to ensure they were open due to the holiday and accepting walk ins since we didn't have a reservation. The host on the phone was very sweet and accommodating to my questions. The parking lot is large and plenty of spaces to park. We were greeted instantly by a host and taken to a table in the back where we were sat with our server Jake. We passed the bar which seemed lively and the patio looked beautiful. We were offered to choose patio or inside from the host but due to the weather we chose inside. Our experience was great. Jake was great and very attentive in making our dining experience an experience. There were two other tables sat with guests and we could hear in on Jake's recommendations to each table. He was very professional and treated us all with the same care. The food was phenomenal. We ordered the French onion soup and a wedge salad to begin. The table was set with bread which was delicious. My husband ordered the ribeye and I the shrimp scampi. The food was amazing!! These dishes were delicious! We also finished with Jake's recommendation on the key lime pie. We were blown away by the food. 10/10 for food. 10/10 for service. The restaurant is beautiful and cozy. The food runner and busser were very polite and accommodating. Definitely a fine dining experience. The only thing I will say is I'm not sure how sanitary the children's highchairs and booster seats being in the women's handicap stall on the floor can be but I imagine not alot of children are brought here. The restroom and restaurant was very clean and Beautifully decorated. I can't wait to come back and bring friends. History laden Seal Beach locals perched at the bar along with new friends. Happy Hour(s) drinks (cocktails too) full pours and well prepared. The bar and regular menu are filled with favorites. Try the Pork Chop!!! And the Calamari is fresh and delish. My wife and I had the pleasure of eating a very delicious meal at Patty's. This was our first time and not our last. Our waitress was Rosemary. The restaurant is a hidden jewel for the few who don't live in the vicinity. It is nicely decorated and gives you just enough ambiance that you feel like you're in a nice old fashion steakhouse but make you feel right at home. We started our meal off with bread for the table with softened butter (yummy), Chilled Prawns , Salads, (2)12oz Prime Rib which was cooked perfectly and we both had leftovers to share with my in-laws,(4) different sides, We decided to share the dessert between us both which was their Killer Chocolate Cake and we couldn't finish that also. We've been to Patty's place a few times for dinner which is always great and delicious, however we wanted to try their brunch. We just popped in on Sunday morning and were greeted by a friendly server. She sat us down right away and took our drink order. We both ordered bloody Mary's. They were delicious, you just have to stir them up a bit yourself. We then ordered our breakfast. I got the vegetable Benedict with crispy hash browns and asparagus and my husband order the ham steak and eggs. Absolutely delicious, fast and friendly service with a quiet and relaxing atmosphere! We go to Pattys for for years. We always come away very happy. Everything we've ever ordered has been superb. The Steaks are out of this world. I've tried everything down to the Frog Legs delist. We get appetizers can't go wrong with appetizers escargot is so good. Patty has a Tomatoe Platter to die for . There's never been anything I've ever been disappointed in. Her Creme Brulle is the best...bar none. We have brought friends and family to enjoy food as it was meant to be savored. Everyone has been blown away. Patty has a fully stocked bar with quality liquors. I'm not a big Wine Drinker however those who are do not go away disappointed. They are astounded by Pattys Wines.
