My girlfriend got the breakfast burrito with chicken sausage. Both were amazing. The breakfast sandwich was creamy and crispy. The sausage was cooked inside the fluffy eggs. The breakfast burrito was filled with eggs, sausage, and potato. The tortilla was warm and crispy. I glanced over and saw a man eating some dulce de leche pancakes. I had to try them, so I YOLO'd and ordered a side. They were divine. Didn't even need syrup, although the syrup made them even more heavenly. Highly recommend. This place is actually one of my favorites in SF now. The service was spectacular, everyone is so friendly and the food and drinks came out at the perfect times. The food was incredible! I got the huevos rancheros and my husband got the civiche. They make their own hot sauce (so yum!) and the civiche was so fresh! I always appreciate extra effort in my food and bevs, this place serves their coffee in little jars and adds flowers to their mimosas. I've lived in this hood for 6 years and this one has quickly become my go-to for breakfast/brunch. I've been really impressed by their super fresh ingredients, impeccable execution, and large menu with generous portion sizes. Their execution of basics like scrambled eggs and breakfast potatoes is unmatched. The softest, fluffiest eggs, generously spiced and perfectly cooked potatoes (there's nothing worse than soggy, bland breakfast potatoes!). I've also had their veggie sandwich, which is fabulous with tons of delicious cooked veggies and just the right amount of cheese, on high quality buttered ciabatta. Their omelette is also fantastic. The execution on the eggs is really key. The combo of fresh ingredients and quality preparation here is a real standout. Go try Paula's! We ordered a carafe of guava mimosas and the glasses came with cute flowers like other reviews mention. The servers were all friendly, even offered to bring out more bacon if we didn't want it that crispy but it was perfect. Long wait for menus, coffee, food - it was clear that every other table was feeling the same way and multiple tables had to flag waitstaff down to get water or check on their food that was taking 30+min to come out. Friendly staff and tasty mimosas. My boyfriend got the breakfast burrito and it was super yummy and balanced. It came with a side of salsa that tasted like marinara with a kick. I got the goat omelette and it was essentially a brick of mozzarella cheese mixed with eggs and veggies. I had to dig for any goat cheese and sad to say, there was none. Considering that goat cheese is the only type of animal derived cheese I can eat, I ended up eating bits of egg and veggies and the side of toast. read more
