This is my husband's and my go to place for food when we don't want to venture out, think of a place to go to, or want something quick. Service has always been good. Never waited long for food. Our orders are usually the same and consistent. If we dine here for breakfast, my husband always gets the Hungry Jack and that always fills him up and make shim happy. I always get the eggs and sausage or the country/chicken fried steak. The eggs and sausages comes with toast and hash browns. Portions are large and I never finish my food. I always fork my leftovers onto my husband's plate. This dish has always been good, cooked perfectly. The country fried steak on the other hand hasn't been consistently good. One morning I ordered it and it came out looking like fried cardboard. I guess it's a hit n miss with this one. Anywho, this place is great. It has a lot to choose from. I went threw the drive thru for a brief and pleasant breakfast, but that was least of what I got. Instead I went threw a drive thru line that took almost 20 minutes and terrible customer service. The workers were rude and egotistical. This would of been overlooked if such careless mistakes would of been avoided. I ordered two breakfast burritos one with bacon the other with no meat, after a long wait in the drive thru line we received two nicely wrapped burritos in different colors and marked with "no meat" and "bacon" after three bites of my burrito I discovered double the amount of normal amount of bacon. Not only was their meat but there was double the amount. Such a careless mistake wasted my money and left me sad and hungry. Also as a vegetarian, to break my 5 year record on not digesting meat, it was a very sad moment in time I desperately wish I could take back. read more

~ ANOTHER 1 STAR REVIEW FOR EVA THE MANAGER~ It sure doesn't take long to find a 1 star review with Eva's name mentioned, multiple times on the first page alone when sorting by date and it gets really good if you sort by lowest first. Does the owner of this business even read the reviews his customer's are writing? Apparently not because any business owner in their right mind would have fired this miserable woman representing their company a long time ago. Ordered a chicken quesadilla and a cheeseburger combo, pretty basic stuff. We sat down on the tattered booth, grabbed a water and fountain drink while we waited. After 20 minutes of looking at the carrot laying on the floor near the condiment area, I decided to check and see if there was a problem or if it would be much longer. Enter Eva who tells me with a snarky look on here face "it will be another 20 mins at least, the wait is 45 minutes today". No apology, no smile, no explanation, nothing. Apparently this is a common theme based on reviews. Sorry but most would probably agree that "fast food" does not include close to an hour wait. I told her that was unacceptable and that employees should be transparent with wait time if it is going to be more than 30 minutes at a "fast food" joint. Eva was very disrespectful and condescending, not even making eye contact as I voiced my concerns and asked for a refund. THE BEST part had to be was when I was asked if I was going to keep my drink! (Uhhhh here is your drink back!) During the course of our interaction she was very confrontational and unprofessional making comments like "you already said that, is there something else?" and in parting childishly says "good bye, ....bye....bye....good byyyye". I eat half and was going to put the other half in Refrigerator when I notice an eaten lollypop stick in the togo container there the sandwich was in "gross", threw the sandwich away. Came here to get breakfast around 6:30AM and the wait wasn't much. However, I am big on having places smell funky and weird, and when I entered it smelled a bit odd and smelled like rotten food, and other odors. The place is kinda run-down looking, but from what I saw as reviews thought I would check it out because my co-workers loved it also. They have many options for breakfast, I ordered the veggie omellete with homestyle fries which came out to be $10 bucks. The girl who took my order was very nice, and you could see the chef make the food right in front of you, but everything looked so dirty. The stove is right behind the cash counter, and that is fine, but you could see how dirty and unclean everything looked. I got my food in about ten minutes, but it wasn't anything good. It basically tasted like something I could make at home and eat, and the potatoes tasted horrible. I hate giving places two stars, but I would pass on coming here. First, the food is always very good. This rating is strictly on the cashiers inability to get the order correct. I ordered two chicken strips meals, one with fries and one with rice. When I got home BOTH had fries. They also were supposed to include a salad, which I thought were in the container with the strips and fries, but those were forgotten. I also ordered a cheeseburger, no onion, and when I went to eat it at home it had onions. This rating is for their drive-thru. Although I enjoy and often come here for dine-in I gotta say, their drive-thru need a lot of improvement in getting orders right. I'd say 60% of the time there's something missing. I guess I need to start checking the order every time before driving off. DO NOT COME HERE. I ordered 2 meals for $40 yesterday waiting 30 min for my food after a long day at work. I get home & one of my meals is not what I ordered. I called and spoke to the manager Eva and she said she would give me my meal only if I bring my food back. (After saying it was my fault that I ordered the wrong thing even though I didn't) I go thru the drive thru waiting 30 min again and give her back my food. She says it looks like someone's touched the food and she can't give me my meal, she said she'll give me credit. The worst customer service ever when you have a complaint about your food. Eva is the worst manager and Juan the worst server ever. They don't care if their customer leaving satisfied or unhappy. The steak sandwich was awful, you could not bite into the meat. Paid $14.99 just for the sandwich and it's better to eat at Burger King and pay only $5.00 or $6.00. I used to love Paul's Place. They no longer offer substitutions. I'm vegetarian and if something comes with sausage or bacon they won't give potato's or anything instead. You are told to order a bunch of sides instead. Ordered a Mexican burrito. The tortilla was soggy and it was overloaded with salsa. Potato's weren't cooked all the way. I asked for a coffee with extra vanilla creamer and got a coffee black! Drive thru takes forever. read more
