Overall, the food here is pretty good. There are some standouts... breakfast sausage, breakfast tacos, gyros, etc... and while there's nothing bad on the menu, some things are just okay... omelets, not very fluffy, average burgers, etc. I'd say overall, the menu is 3 stars, but the service is 5 stars, and the dining experience is 4 stars, so overall, I give Paul's a solid 4 stars. Says you open at 6am but I go up to the drive thru it is still coned off up until at least 6:30. Do not try to get breakfast at this place before 6:30 they should update the open time on their website if they are not going to serve until after 6:30. I go here from time to time good food but very annoying when you get there 15-25 minutes after they open and the drive thru is still closed off with cones. Please update your open time or talk to your employees and have them take the cones out of the driveway so we can order food. I always thought this place had pretty decent customer service or human decency haha with good food. Today i togoed some food for breakfast country fried steak their pauls hungry breakfast plate? Fried zucchini and a taco because i love tacos. The food was okay i asked for extra crispy hashbrown but of course they are going to give me mash. So why the 1 star. When i got home i ended up missing my gravy for my country fried steak. The meat itself looked unappealing without it as well. Normally i say this would be my failt for not checking but i glimped through the bag and it had a container with some white. I had assumed its gravy to find out they gave me cottage cheese. Also taco came without any type of sauce..... lucky i had left over del taco sauce if antthing. I called wanted a refund because we werent gonna eat it not the country fried steak without the gravy to be honest its what makes the dish. They couldnt do anything about it because the manager was not in. I call when shes in and shes rude. Come in ill give you discount next time proceeding to end the call without even without getting any information down. This drive is 20min to pauls place and then 20min back. Come here for lunch with my cousin. Have tried the BLT combo, a club combo, the hamburger, cheeseburger and chili burger, as well as the mushrooms, and a chicken fried breakfast. It's always good, and there is plenty of space for us on the patio. Only problem is that the mushrooms are kinda hit and miss, sometimes being under done. Other than that, come on down. read more

This was the first time here. Staff: Very friendly Food: very big portion for a reasonable price. Everything is cooked fresh. Recommended: Steak & eggs, hashbrowns. Never been disappointed with Paul's place. Prices are great, portions are big and the food is great! Service is quick, although I've only eaten here once. I usually call my order ahead and everything is ready by the time I pick up. My have things here: fried Zucchini and fried mushrooms! The fried Zucchini sticks and mushrooms have the best layer of breading that makes it crunchy on the outside and fresh testing on the inside! Dying know how they do it but it's awesome! I would say this is the best of all the Paul's place locations. PASTRAMI IS ALWAYS FRESH REGARDLESS WHICH DAY YOU VISIT. Hamburgers are cooked perfectly and are huge. Fries are crispy and are overfilled beyond the baggie. It's like they fill the bag, place baggie in your packing bag with hamburger and then they top off with more fries. If you're in the mood for your classic Greek owned burgers, this is your spot. I haven't seen Bobbie in a while but Eva and Gustavo are holding it down just fine. read more

As good as the food can be, the service could improve. I ordered via drive -thru and I generally expect a bit of a wait. However today, I can see my food was on the counter READY and the lady standing at the window was just walking around cleaning and organizing for a good 5 minutes. Great of her to be on top of that, but now I food is sitting there chilling. Then she walks away and has someone else hand me my food. Update to my previous one star review Alex who got in touch with me and is a manager in the Buena Park location was so wonderful and listened to my experience. It was so easy to talk to her and explain the situation I will now be going to the Buena Park location only this review is strictly for her professionalism and how she quickly handled my issue at a store that she isn't in charge of but wanted to make sure I didn't leave with a bad experience, she clearly didn't have to but was more than happy to help and for that I am grateful. My previous review is under this to know a little more about the experience I had with the Anaheim locations manager. Super disappointed with management girl at the window is clearly new and doesn't know everything yet but they literally threw her in the fire with very little training. I asked 3 times if not more when she kept repeating my order as a bacon cheese burger instead of a double bacon cheeseburger. She assured me it was a double I trustingly believed her when checking my food I noticed it was a single so I had to go all the way back i didn't even get a receipt for my transaction. I went back and told them hey I asked for a double I had to come back can you fix this she calls the manager Eva over and she starts speaking in Spanish assuming I did not speak Spanish and I told her oh you speak Spanish then let me tell you in Spanish what happened. She explains the girl is new ok great but I asked her multiple times before I paid if she got the double right and me having to turn around and come back you being the manager should fix it. She said I was never charged for a double I told her well that's your fault I didn't even get a receipt so how do I know if that's true. I get the girl is new but you being the manager should literally throw another patty on top and give it back to me I don't even need you to remake it just make it right I had to come back. Eva the manager said no you have to pay for it I told her this is terrible customer service she didn't even show me the receipt so I could verify I wasn't charged for a double. I told her I don't even have my wallet I had to come back your being ridiculous I spent over 62 dollars on my order and this is how you treat customers. Who can I speak to besides you? She says I can call the number on the receipt and she writes her name I'm not stupid that's the number for this location so I told her why would I call this number to speak to you I need someone above you then she yells fine I'll give you the other patty on your burger. I'm already mad about this whole commotion over this mistake they made so i left my number with another location asking if the owner or someone above her can get back to me because this is ridiculous I wasn't asking for anything out of this world and was very professional until she started yelling at me like im the problem. Eva is clearly the issue and needs to be demoted and a real manager needs to be hired one with better customer service skills. If this isn't resolved I will no longer be coming to this location. I myself have worked in the food industry and customer service as management for years and you do not treat customers like that over your mistakes. The new girl should have proper training and a manager or lead by her side showing her every step of the way until she is ready to be on her own so mistakes like this don't happen. First I'll start off with the fact that he obviously thinks he is better than anyone else based on the fact that he chose to park in the no parking zone and block the handicap entrance. Their service is so slow. I thought maybe they were understaffed, but I see plenty of people working there. I call in my order so that I can just go pick it up and not have to wait the 30 minutes it usually takes in drive thru. When I asked about it, they give me attitude. They shouldn't lie when I place my phone order and tell me it will be 15 - 20 mins when I usually wait an extra 15 minutes. I will not go back even if my daughters like it. A classic homemade style grilled cheese sandwich Taquitos were fluffy, crispy, consistent and tasty, not to mention gone soon, haha. Stopped by Paul's Place this morning because I was craving hash browns for breakfast. I ended up getting 2 eggs sunny side up, bacon and hash browns. The breakfast was BIG (see attached photo) and I only ate half of it. The food was just okay. The bacon was probably the best part - not too crunchy and surprisingly not too greasy. The hash browns were also cooked appropriately; not burnt but cooked just right. Paul's Place is located just down the street from my work and believe it or not, I've only been there 2-3 times in the past 2 years. I went to this restaurant and placed an order of three junior cheeseburgers and two junior burgers. After I went to pick up my order l, when I got home I noticed that the four junior burgers had no lettuce, no tomato's, nothing but only the meat and the bun. And only one burger had everything in it. I called back the place and told them that my burgers were incomplete, the woman on the phone gave me attitude and told me that's what I order but in reality I order the burgers to have everything on them. I let her know that I was unhappy with my order because that's not what I paid for. But then she said "I can only give you credit for the lettuce and tomato" while giving me attitude. We have been going there for years and everything is always consistently great. The only thing we don't order is the steak sandwich and philly cheesesteak. I ordered take out for breakfast and I normally go to another location by my house. I decided to go to this location which is smaller than the one I normally go to. I ordered the French Toast combo plate and a Turkey Burger and Zucchini sticks. When I got home to eat my breakfast I opened my French Toast plate and as I began to eat it, I noticed a long hair in my French Toast. I felt disappointed and disgusted they can just send out food without double checking it. On the other hand the Turkey Burger and Zucchini sticks was fine with no problems. The food was good, the place looked clean and neat. The patio section was a nice place to relax and eat. Unfortunately, my meal was interrupted by the cook who was on break and decided to start smoking cigarettes at the table behind me as I tried to eat my meal. Now I understand it is outdoors; however, the patio is not fully open where the air escapes. I did not complain at the staff, I just decided to leave. It wasn't burnt but cooked just enough it was so fluffy! The place is usually packed in the morning, but nothing too bad, because you can always find a seat. Also, during breakfast, people eat and get up pretty quickly. The coffee wasn't strong or bitter, which I love. I'm huge on coffee and need it every morning. Horrible service. There was a large party whose order the staff got completely wrong. Meanwhile, our burgers were prepared and sat on the counter for over 10 min. while they were trying to sort things out with that group. When we asked about our order, we were told that they could give us the burgers now, but we would have to wait for the kids chicken strips meal, fries and onion rings until after they re-do the large group's order. Things became more chaotic when a gray haired person in a low ponytail started throwing away pastrami and fries in the trash and appeared frustrated with the large group's customers and coworkers. We then asked for a refund and the same older woman said that we needed to return our fountain drinks and took my young child's milk and threw it in the trash right in front of us. Our child said "my leche!" and the lady didn't even flinch - in the trash it went. She handed us the receipt with the refund unapologetically - no eye contact and no words.
