Pauls is a great stop for all sorts of great food from the burgers to the Greek chicken to the Mexican dishes. I have been coming here for years and continue to enjoy the great food every time I stop by. This place can get very crowded and your order can take some time, and the covered patio ambiance is not the best, but for me its all about the food, and that keeps me coming back. read more

It's great for what it is: a menu of American, Greek and Mexican middle-of-the-road restaurant food without the waiters. My fav is the chicken & rice. Don't go for fancy, just go for fairly fast (except at lunch hour) and good. Eating on the patio is pleasant. Nothing exceptional but solid, consistent quality you can count on. I go here a lot, because of the wide selection of food, and it's not far from the house. The food here is fresh, made to order, so expect to wait a little while for your food. They have everything ranging from fried food, to your traditional sandwiches. The side orders are huge, so plan on splitting with someone. Great place, good prices. read more

You better come here in groups because the sides (except french fries) are like entrees. My friends and I always order the fried zuchinis and they are a plateful. Even with a team of friends we cannot finish an order. My usual is an avocado burger with a side of fried zuchinis or fried onions. Always bring it home for leftovers later. I was disappointed on my last visit to Paul's Place in Los Alamitos. I ordered the Gyro Sandwich Plate with a side of Greek Salad to go. When I got home, I found there was no tzatziki sauce for the Gyro Sandwich. Also, there was no feta cheese or Kalamata olives in the Greed Salad. Basically, just greens with dressing. read more

Just got to Paul's Place. Ordered a philly cheesesteak asked for pepperocini's on my sandwich and the guy says we can't put them on the sandwich I asked why, he says we just can't... That answer is unacceptable I'm a paying customer I think it's ok to let the customer know why you can't put pepperocinis on the sandwich!!!! read more

This place is great! Me and my family have been coming here since I was little. Honestly, everything is good here. I usually get a cheeseburger, fries, and a chocolate shake= epic. Even better than In-And-Out (Gasp!). Their "healthy choice" is also really really good. My mom and dad also get their fried chicken and chicken salads and they look pretty amazing, as well. Great chili cheese fries. Burger was good, but they dont put pickles unless u ask. Come for the chili chrese fries, call ur order in before u get here. I came from the Los Alamitos Medical Center, and was back to the hospital waiting room in less than 20 minutes, including drive time both ways, and picking up my food. read more

I have heard their b fast is good, but the tacos were absolutely not. The Asada was so salty and oily i couldn't finish it. Not that i could have finished it as the tortillas stuck to the cardboard and fell apart as soon as i took it out of the bag. The chicken was marinated ok, but again the tortilla fell apart and the meat was cut in huge chunks so it was manageable either way. read more

This hidden establishment is a yummy treat. After a power outage at the dentist we visited Pauls Place for some grub. My boyfriend chose the Colossal Burger, I chose a regular one and we shared chili fries and a chocolate shake. It was so YUMMY! The patio seating is great. Ordering takes a while. Paul's is a Los Al staple. Feta fries and chili cheese fries (no onions) are always my go to. If I'm bringing home dinner for the family, it's always the broasted chicken pack. The grilled toast is the best - I don't know how they do it. They have their own parking lot but there's street parking too; a lot of times I prefer street parking since the lot can get kinda tight. read more

Amazing food! They have a great selection of really good food here. No matter what you order it will be top notch. They have great sandwiches, burgers, salads, and more. A couple must haves for me would be the fried mushrooms, philly cheesesteak, and greek salad. The only reason I have to give them 4 instead of 5 stars is the slow phone order service. Every time I call in advance to place my order, I still have to wait about the same time as if I just walked up. It almost seems like even though you call ahead, they still don't start the order until you get there. Other than an occasional slight delay this place is great! read more

Paul's Place is a must every time we are in the area! We live over 200 miles away and come here several times a year. EVERYTHING is delicious and plenty of it!!!! We get the pastrami, fish and chips, onion rings, feta fries, taquito plate, chicken gyro and the iced tea always tastes fresh! They also have whole fried mushrooms and its a plate full of them!! I tell every one about this place and highly recommend it to anyone who has a big appetite. read more

When we want a real good burger we go here. There are other locations and all are good but this one is closer to me. The onion rings are amazing! The zucchini is good I prefer it without the cheese, and the fries are nice and crisp on the outside and soft on the inside. I love to get the California burger and add lettuce and tomato. And I get a lot of yellow peppers to eat with it. Customer service is always good too. read more

This place is great! what can I say? The food taste great and the service is even better. They always ask you if you need anything else. They don't look at you with a scowl on their faces when you ask for ranch. There are a lot of choices to choose from. You can add avocado, bacon etc...to an item that doesn't have those but it might get pricey if you do that. One thing though, don't get the veggie burger. I tried it and didn't like it at all, it didn't taste like anything!! (the veggie burger at Ruby's Diner is still the best) Go to Paul's place and try a Bacon Burger, it's great stuff. Paul's Place. Ah, Paul's Place. This is definitely a 4.5 location, but seeing the decrease in the quality of food over the past decade makes me round down. Their onion rings used to come in a large box wiith onion rings overflowing and steaming, but now, they come in a small plate (about half of what they used to give), and they are often cold or lukewarm. It's actually surprising to get a plate of hot onion rings. I always get their Mexican Plate, and that has always been really good. The tacos and beef make my stomach growl with hunger, and I love how after you finish the tacos, you can dump in all the condiments and mix it. yuuuum. Not a place I often crave, but when I do, I always run up to the line. read more
