Went to give this place a try and the drinks were delicious! It's very mellow and relaxing inside, not too loud. The staff were really nice and quick in getting our drinks ready! The biscoff latte was more on the sweeter side for sure, which I liked and you can really TASTE the mango in the matcha latte we got too. It was a delight to try! They do offer milk alternatives just fyi! :) I will say it is a bit on the pricier side compared to some other coffee shops. It also seems that a lot of students or just people in general come here to study and work, so when we went it was a bit busy and hard to find seating inside!
I found my new fave coffee shop! I've tried the Peaked Up & Corn latte. Both were really good and strong (which is a must!) it's around 8.60 a cup but the coffee is strong. Employees were friendly and plenty of seating. Definitely a lot of people studying and I can imagine it gets even busier with students once the semester starts.
Local coffee shop with lots of fun & unique flavors! Seems like a great place for matcha or coffee, based on observing other people's drinks while I was inside. Good space inside, tables are spaced nicely apart. Feels like a comfortable spot to come and do some work. Easy parking outside too, there's a lot. I ordered an iced banana latte but held the cream top as I'm dairy free. I ordered mine with almond milk. It came in at almost $9, pretty steep. It was ready very soon afterwards. I thought it was okay, it had that artificial banana flavor that reminded me of some childhood candy that I can't quite put my finger on. Maybe the banana laffy taffy? Anyways, it was presented nicely with a banana slice on top and if you're into banana flavor, I'm sure you'll be into this. In hindsight, I wish I ordered another flavor though. Maybe next time!
I tried Peak for the first time and it is a really relaxing place! I can see that it's popular among students, it's quiet and spacious. I got the biscoffee and it tastes good! The cashier was really friendly and overall I had a good experience for just popping in to get a coffee before heading back to work.
Got the strawberry milk and the strawberry bingsoo. Both were really good and super refreshing on a hot day. I also liked that neither of them was overly sweet. The inside was a lot bigger than I expected and had plenty of seating. There were also a lot of outlets, which makes it a perfect place to get some work done or catch up with friends. The service was really friendly, and parking was easy since there's a large parking lot. I'd definitely come back if I'm in the area!
This is cute cafe right by CSUN! It gets quite crowded with a lot of people coming to get work done. Since it was later in the day, I got the *sunset tonic* which was aesthetically pleasing with delicious yuzu and lychee. My cousin got the *injeolmi latte* and it was quite caffeinated/strong and creamy! We shared a *banana brûlée croffle* with a yummy white cloud of mascarpone cream and carmelized banana. It was my first time here and definitely not my last! Can't wait to come back and try more things!!
Bustling place on Sunday at 2pm, short line to place order that moved quickly, but I could have used the extra time to read all drink options on the menu. The Bischoffee or Banana Latte or Corn Coffee were all very tempting but I went for my preferred drink these days Strawberry Matcha although as I stood there waiting for my drink (which quite a bit longer than my friends American) I was regretting not trying one of their insane looking coffee drinks (aka deserts). My BF said his Americano was excellent, not acidic or bitter in any way. My strawberry matcha was good, a bit too jammy, but not cloyingly sweet although the matcha itself was mildly flavored, it was highly caffeinated since it kept me from falling asleep at my regular time. If I was in the area I'd absolutely go back there again.
I was truly impressed with Peak Café and I know I'm not alone because the place was packed the night we went even though it was midweek. The staff was extremely friendly and efficient. And the menu had the most interesting looking selection of unusual items. I know I will be returning in order to try some of them. The reason I'm not giving Peak Cafe a perfect rating is because I went specifically to try the bingsoo. I was very excited to find a bingsoo place in the valley. However, because I was comparing it to the Bingsoo at Oakobing, I was slightly disappointed. If I had tried Peak Café first I would have loved it, however, it is very hard to beat Oakobing. All in all, I will definitely recommend Peak Cafe. A nice relaxed environment paired with an interesting menu and reasonable prices.
It was my first time at this café. I heard good things about it and I finally got over here to give it a try! Upon entering, I thought it was just such a cute set up. It's a decent size café. It was pretty busy, but I didn't feel like it was overwhelming or very loud. Definitely a nice spot to get some work done and enjoy a snack and some coffee. We did try one of the pastries, and it was pretty good. My boyfriend got the matcha strawberry latte and I got the mocha latte with oat milk. Both of these drinks were absolutely delicious. I really enjoyed the flavor. This is definitely going to be added to my top few places to get coffee. They do have a pretty good size menu, including Seasonal items and other specialty items. They have them listed by the register. Customer Service was great. Those who helped us were very nice and very helpful. Café was very clean. I will definitely be back here again.
Thoroughly enjoyed my first visit to Peak Cafe and had no complaints about drinks, service, or vibes. Service was very friendly! It's a beautifully decorated and aesthetically pleasing space with plenty of seating and even the bathrooms were nice and definitely well-maintained. I had the Coconut Cloud with Matcha and it was perfectly refreshing. I also sampled the Biscoffee and it had a strong espresso flavor that was well complemented by the sweet cookie butter flavor. The bungeoppang was freshly prepared and well worth the $5.50 for 2; the hotteok flavor was my favorite. Overall, Peak is a wonderful space and a comfy place to study in. No wifi on Sundays though!
Laid back cafe with decent bingsoo and matcha. Plenty of parking next to csun. Definately wished the binsoo would have more of the drizzle and toppings for the sweetness and flavor layered into the bingsoo because once you eat it off the top, its all downhill after. Plenty of mochi though. Strawberry matcha is a bit expensive for the location and quality. The baristas were nice and friendly :)
Yes, this cafe is indeed peak. One of the best in the northridge area with such great seating and a great study space, along with great drinks and desserts. We had their corn latte and matcha latte, as well as their mango bingsoo and it was top notch! There's nothing like this place in northridge with the exception of maybe a couple coffee spots possibly. But there is no place that's honestly better. It has it all. Service is great, food and drinks are great, space and ambiance is incredible. Plenty of parking! Highly recommended!
Definitely one of the better matchas I've had. I ordered the Matcha Squared (double matcha) and loved both the flavor and the name. We stopped by on a Saturday night and it was pretty busy, which is understandable given that it's in a college community. There's plenty of seating, making it a great spot to hang out with friends or come solo for a drink and study session.

Best bingsoo place in the valley. must try!! price definitely beats the one place in Gardena. they used to be very generous with fruits a year ago . All their hojicha matcha drinks are great. Great ambiance for friends two three person group meet up . read more

This newly opened cafe caught my attention so I decided to give it a try. Their seasonal menu included a corn latte so that's what I ordered today. I've been wanting to try a corn latte for a while but none of my local coffee shops had it on their menu- until now. It was delicious! So smooth and creamy and felt more like a dessert than coffee. I'm excited to try other items on their menu. The ambiance is lovely and there is plenty of seating inside. The parking situation is alright, they have about 5 designated spots in front and then the lot is shared with the rest of the University Plaza shops. I definitely plan on coming back! read more
This is a great space if you're in need of a late night matcha or coffee. There's lots of seating space, great for doing school work or just hanging out. The drinks were super smooth , employees were super kind. It's my second time going and would totally recommend to others. The Nutella filled fish pastries are to die for. read more
Peak was a cute open space for people who want to do work. I went in there and there were a lot of students studying around since it's near CSUN. The place has a lot of great lighting. I came in wanting a matcha but I asked the staff what their most popular drink was and he said it was the banana matcha that was not on the menu. I proceeded with that for my order and it was good but a little sweet for my liking. I would just want it a little less sweet next time if you guys don't want it too sweet you might be able to adjust the sweetness. They had syrup in the pick up station as well as to those who wants to add syrup for their drinks. It was a great spot to try. They have other drinks on their menu that I would want to go back and try. Staff was very nice, place was decent and clean. read more

Peak is a cute little cafe in the corner of a shopping center. The inside of the cafe is the perfect amount of natural light for a catch up coffee with your bestie or a matcha to help you power through your study session. I have been to speak a few times and I usually order their Strawberry Matcha Latte. It's my absolute favorite Strawberry Matcha in the valley. It's sooooo good. They're always busy but they make your drink really quickly... wait times are not a problem for a busy cafe. We wanted to grab some Dog Haus down the street so we decided to check out this coffee shop that was on my list! Got there at about 11:50am this morning and didn't realize they open at noon. Another couple tried to open the door ahead of us and realized the same so we all just stood by the door and waited. Shortly after, an older man opened the door saying we can wait inside while the other younger guy finishes preparing. My bf and I walked up to look at the menu while the other couple sat down. The guy ended up just taking our order so that was nice, first in line lol! I ordered their iced corn coffee since it's something I've been wanting to try for a while. I've seen other coffee shops have it as well but I always opted for something else delicious. After ordering, the room filled with a line IMMEDIATELY. It was crazy!! I guess this place gets super busy over the weekend and not sure about during the week but that other couple ahead of us ended up being at the end of the line. Lots of tables and seating here which is awesome. Super spacey too, not neck and neck. Drink came out fast as well which was great. Big cup for $8 which feels like you're getting your money's worth. The presentation was beautiful! The drink was strong and also had the perfect sweetness. It has a very faint corn flavor from their house made corn puree so it's not overpowering at all. A great cafe addition to the Northridge area. What stuck out to me right away was how open and spacious it was. We got there when they opened on Sunday. We were the second ones there but soon it filled up fairly quickly. But because it is fairly popular, it does get pretty noisy. So if you are going to do any studying there, be sure to bring noise canceling headphones or headsets. They have a variety drinks and foods, from pastries, panini to shaved ice. We tried their chocolate croissants and it was very yummy. For drinks we got their strawberry matcha, matcha latte, mocha latte and Taro milk. They were all fairly good. The strawberry matcha latte I thought had the right amount of sweetness. Some notes, be aware that on Sundays, we were told they don't make as many food/paninis. Sure enough they only had one bulgogi panini which was sold right away. Their WiFi is also not available on Sundays. read more

Excellent friendly service. Very bright and clean tables and chairs. Accommodated our group of 8 without issues. Corn coffee was very unique and tasty (only served cold). Matcha was good and the sesame bingsoo was fresh and the mochi was chewy. Pear tea and jade tea were also very nice and flavorful. read more
I'm glad more cafes with asian menus are popping up around CSUN. There's plenty of free parking in the front and the side of the cafe. The cafe layout was spacious and minimalist, plenty of seats available (gets filled quick however), and high ceiling! Service was good, nothing out of the ordinary. For those studying, it can be pretty loud in there at times so just a heads up! Their iced matcha latte was pretty good- the color of the matcha in the picture looks brighter than in real life. I'm not sure what the aftertaste is, but it seems like a powder sweetener type of aftertaste- can't put my finger on it. I have had this aftertaste in other cafes so I'm guessing the ingredient they're using is pretty common. I also got their bulgogi kimchi panini and this would be a good snack as it'll fill you up for a couple hours. It is cheesy so watch out for the lactose intolerant peeps! I haven't tried their bingsoo because I was focused on studying, but will maybe try next time. The only thing about this cafe is that they only have charging stations/outlets on one side of the cafe and you have to be lucky to grab a spot there. They also don't have wifi on Sundays if you're looking to get some work done. read more

The STRAWBERRY BINGSOO (Korean shaved ice) and the CARAMEL CRUNCH CROFFLE which has mascarpone cream, Biscoff cookies, caramel, condensed milk, powdered sugar are soooo good. Came across this little cafe while being in the area. My dad and I are from Downey CA. I really do aim for quality matcha spots whenever I go out, I'm not the type to settle either. I saw how green the matcha was in the pictures and had to come put it to the test. Service was really friendly & helpful, was recommended the strawberry matcha and was NOT disappointed. This place is awesome! A first visit, and this place completely won me over. I loved the atmosphere and the concept: it feels thoughtful, almost curated. Every drink looks so inviting that choosing becomes a small dilemma in itself. I went for the Matcha² with oat milk, and let me tell you... it was like resting your lips on a cloud! Soft, velvety, and comforting in the most elegant way. Absolutely worth the price. I truly recommend experiencing it at least once. read more

5 star for the baristas friendliness. The cashier was very cold , mumbling and didn't even acknowledge or say thank you when we brought our trays back to the counter. We wanted to like this place but the treatment from the cashier was very off putting. $7 for a half filled cup of hot chocolate that was also not great and one of our mochi fish were pretty burned read more

Peak Cafe is such a great all-around coffee spot. Everything we tried was beautifully presented and tasted just as good. The desserts were light, balanced, and not overly sweet--perfect with coffee. The shaved ice was fluffy and refreshing, the waffles were soft with just the right amount of crisp, and the fruit toppings tasted fresh and thoughtfully paired. You can tell a lot of care goes into both flavor and presentation. The drinks were just as solid. Smooth, well-balanced coffee and specialty drinks that weren't too sweet or bitter, making them easy to enjoy alongside the desserts. read more

They were fast, and their drink was refreshing. One of the freshest matchas I've tasted by fair super light and fresh. They were quick to make the drinks but sometimes super packed in terms of seating. Inside is spacious though but usually large groups can make it loud. read more

The large bingsoo is huge and perfect for 3 people to share! The interior is very well decorated and gives off a clean, trendy atmosphere. Lots of college students on laptops so perfect for a study session. Service was quick and friendly. Can't wait to come back. read more

Such a great cafe to catch up with friends or get work done because it is so spacious, has WiFi, and restrooms! Love that it's student friendly and there is plenty of parking! Staff was helpful in explaining the menu as we were first timers and the croffle was delish! The matchas delivered too with large drink sizes and potent matcha flavor! For what it's worth, I typically enjoy coming to Peak Cafe for their drinks and big paninis. It's solid. And I always tag them when I buy from them. However, I'm taking out 2 stars because when the young man at the counter (December 13, 2025 at 5:15pm) later CORRECTED HIS statement that Peak's discounts aren't exclusive for just CSUN students, but also Trader Joe's employees as well as healthcare workers, and I then proceeded to show my RN badge, he said he won't include the discount because the transaction already went through. I guess I had a negative facial expression on my face because he then proceeded to ramble about "I feel bad about it and I know you want to save money..." and I told him it's okay, and I walked away from the counter. Personally, I find this weird because when I worked in food service, and something similar like this happened, I voided the order, resubmitted the order, and then added the discount. This employee came off EXTREMELY lazy, and overall, unprofessional. What was even more disrespectful is that HE GOT A TIP from me (pictured in this post). Yet, he didn't want to correct the mistake in the order. Again, their products are great. But now I'll come here when my other options are not available. In short, this cafe will be the last one I resort to in the Northridge area. read more
My second review for this place!!! I've gone and gotten their matcha squared with oat milk twice already!!! The menu is seasonal but it's honestly so delicious I'd be upset if it was gone forever!!! I believe my friend got some type of tea which was delicious and my other friend got the banana matcha which was honestly so creamy and perfect. It had the best banana flavor I've ever tried. Definitely hands down one of the best places I've had read more
I loved Peak Cafe! We shared a regular size cookie bingsoo and a match croffle and both were great. Portion sizes were generous and the bingsoo was delicious. Matcha croffle was also great and I loved all of the fruit that they put on top of it! The cafe is huge and we were surprised by how crowded it was on a Thursday night, but we were able to find seating pretty quickly. It was a great place to hangout! read more

It was my first time at Peak Cafe and also my first time trying a hojicha latte! The iced hojicha latte was good! There was plenty of seating and parking available when we visited on a Saturday morning. They even have reserved parking spots for customers. The cafe is spacious which makes it a good spot to get work done. Looking forward to coming back to try their matcha! read more
Definitely recommend trying the bingsoo and the fish bread called Bungeoppang! I loved the sweet and tart strawberries in the bingsoo, paired with the little rice cakes--it was so refreshing and not overly sweet. The flavors were just right. As for the Bungeoppang, I tried both the red bean and Nutella fillings. They were cooked perfectly--crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside. One of my favorites for sure! Can't wait to come back and get these again. read more
Came here cause they have great photos of shaved ice (bingsoo) and I left feeling supper satisfied. The desserts at this cafe are at its peak! The large strawberry bingsoo was so fluffy and tasty. I believe the best thing at this location is the bungeoppang (the fish). The fish batter tasted very different from the ones i tried, including somisomi. The fish has a crunchy texture when you bite into it, but it surprises you with a soft and slightly chewy interior like mochi. The best fish filling is Nutella. Service was quick and staff were friendly. This place can get busy during the day on weekends, but I highly think you should check them out! read more
Peak Cafe is a bright and open coffee and bingsoo shop nearby CSUN. This might be my new favorite study spot in Northridge! They have really great drinks and desserts, and it is also a great place for either studying or catching up with friends. There are some tables that are marked as laptop-free for those who want to chat with their friends, but there are also spots with outlets for those who want to study. Their Sunset Tonic drink is a refreshing and fizzy drink, and it isn't too sweet with yuzu and lychee. The Biscoffee is also a fun twist on traditional coffee, combining the Biscoff cookie flavor with caffeine. For dessert, the Cookies and Cloud Bingsoo is so good! It combines, vanilla, ice cream, Oreos, and mochi, all topped with sweet condensed milk. They also have taiyaki with different fillings. I look forward to coming back the next time I'm in Northridge! read more

I love peak cafe!!!! Their croffles are divine and the bingsu is also really good. My favorites are the strawberry bingsu and strawberry matcha croffle. I have also tried the caramel crunch croffle (8.5/10) and strawberry matcha latte (6.5/10). The service is good and theres lots of places to study (and lots of plugs too). There are lots of parking spots too! The two bathrooms are clean and need a code. The bathroom code and wifi password is on the receipt after you buy something! read more
This place is a vibe! Gives memory look vibes from ktown, but much nicer inside. I love the wooden pieces and hanging decorations! The music is nice too, and makes it easy to focus for studying (korean soft pop, lofi) Decent studying, though at peak study times wifi can be spotty. Smart for not offering wifi on Sundays to prevent overcrowding. Drinks: - Halo Tea - seasonal $8.50 - full flower inside and its yummy! Seasonal last til the end of this month 1/24/25 - Tonics are my fave here with the cheong. - SO likes the pour over coffee $7 which is also seasonal, but will be staying on after the seasonal menu changes at the end of the month. - einspienners are aight here, i think re: might be the better option bingsoo is pretty good too and def would come back for it here. read more
I'm pretty sure I reviewed this place a while back, but a friend suggested going here and I didn't see my review, so I'm adding it here: First, the space is pretty big with a good amount of seating. I remember service being pretty good, too. However, I also remember that the taro bingsoo was memorably disappointing. The taro paste didn't really go well with the bingsoo. The powder was reminiscent of the powder that would be used for taro milk tea. The crunchy dates also didn't really go well with the dish. It definitely didn't hit, even for $7.50. The boongopang (fish shaped bread) with hotteok filling also fell short for me, but my partner did think it was ok. Overall, I wouldn't get the bingsoo again, but I might be willing to try a different boongopang. I would probably try a drink instead next time. read more
