The staff is friendly. I'm not much of a coffee drinker, but stopped in here for a meet up. I had their pumpkin spice freddo (it's like a Starbucks frap) and a lemon bundt cake. They were both pretty awesome, now I might be addicted! read more

I love this location. It's never too busy, the baristas are always friendly and the shop itself is always clean. I love their maple latte during the fall! It tastes like I am drinking liquid waffles for breakfast. Yum! They also serve the best gingerbread cookies around Christmas. read more

This Peet's is awesome! They consistently make an amazing peppermint mocha, and are always very friendly while maintaining a speedy experience (especially during pre-work rush). I love my morning coffee but Peets is top notch. This particular Peets takes the trophy because they are quick and make the drinks perfectly. What I appreciate is that the employees remember us, we're not there every single day but enough for them to recognize us around town and I think that's great when it comes to customer service and relations. The staff here are helpful and friendly. Sometimes the shop gets really long lines which is annoying but they dont last too long. I love their cheese and cracker boxes! The outdoor seating is nice in good weather but the outdoor tables and chairs aren't that comfortable (metal mesh) and they're a bit rickety. read more

4 stars for the coffee but 2 stars for matcha green tea latte. I ordered iced green tea latte - large size. They gave one tiny teaspoon of matcha powder so it tasted really bland - just like drinking milk. I ended up paying $4 just for iced milk. Starbuck greentea matcha tasted much better and they are willing to give extra matcha powder per customer's request with no charge whereas you have to pay an extra at Peet. read more

I am glad that Starbucks has competition like Peet's to keep them on their toes. Pete's also has a better bean. I still like 711, Knob Hill and McDonalds coffee better though. The service in all Peet's has been adequate and the décor is cute and trendy and hipster, just like Starbucks. If I am in the mood for coffee, which I usually am, and a Peet's and Starbucks are near by, I will probably go to Peet's. read more

I am totally into this place, go here all of the time, get espresso with a drip coffee, in a medium cup, fantastic morning starter for the get up and go you need. Jonathan and Nessa are fantastic at serving awesome drinks and have a great attitude, the parking really suck, but park down the side street and no problem. read more

I'm a regular here. The service is solid and the espresso drinks are consistently good. I get a tall nonfat no whip mocha all the time. My wife a basic latte. Even in the am rush the orders come up pretty fast. They should bring back the Madeleine's for the kids though. I like the wireless Internet. The place is decently clean and there are a lot of regular baristas. Been going for years...and I have no plans to change... Ps...this shop is better than the one in willow glen. read more

This Peet's is pretty good. My drinks are correct only half of the time and the customer service is lacking a bit. It never seems too busy though which is actually really nice. There is a small parking lot behind it where I have always found a space. I was asking one of the staff members why they don't have a certain cookie and he told me he would order them which I thought was really nice. Overall, it's a good Peet's location. read more

The kids are wonderful but corporate policy is bizarre. It isn't in anyone's job description to periodically make sure the restrooms are clean. With so many homeless people sneaking in, it gets trashed. The sink drains are 90% clogged; the toilets are loose and seep sewage from around the base which they evidently think you can contain by adding yet more caulking. This is disgusting. Another nagging issue is that when you fire up your laptop the internet is live. Then at some random point it'll spontaneously shut off, generally while you're composing an email, and redirect you to a login page. Kiss your work goodbye. Why it can't do this at the start is beyond me. Used to be you could pin the login page bookmark to the start menu but that's gone too. read more

Counter staff is great. BUT... Internet is a joke and incredibly slow. Which these days is retro. Harkens back to the dark ages of dialup. When you start your computer it lets you on the web with no front end to deal with. At some random moment, could be 30 seconds or never, it'll interrupt the connection without warning and redirect to a page where you have to click ok to peet's tos. DANGER! I was doing routine maintenance while logged on to my business website when this happpened. It sent a 'poison pill' upstream and randomized pages, text, colors, photos--what a nightmare. I explained at length to the regional manager--she didn't even buy me a cup of coffee!! Same for the three times I've re-lit the water heater, not so much as a hodwy do. And now they've put new seat bottoms on all of the chairs--thick wood with a sharp front edge. You can stand it for maybe ten minutes. Nice going, peets read more

i really like the set up here at Peet's. It's not small & crowded like the other places! i love that there is an outside patio snuggled between buildings. the staff was very pleasant. i will be seeing them every morning now that i will be going to school in the area! Peet's makes the best soy latte. Whether you love/hate soy, you must try it. I hope they will open one at the corner of 7th and Jackson (where the old city yard used to be) so I can go to Peet's every morning instead of Starbucks. read more

Staff is very efficient. Brewed coffee of the day is a good bet. Pastries are adequate. Suggestion: Assign someone to wipe down the tables as they turn over. read more
