This was the worst food and service I have experienced in Elpaso. I was charged twice for drinks, service was horrible, and the food was the worst excuse for Chinese I have ever had in my life. I ordered the hot and sour soup, tuna roll and Dan Dan Noodle. The sushi was terrible, the soup was thick with no flavor, lots of salt. The reason I am reviewing is because this is our neighborhood restaurant and the last 5 times we have dined in or taken home the service has been extremely disappointing. What is going on? The drink machines are always broken. The last visit there were no napkins so had to use paper towels. When I left an employee was running back from Walmart. Today one drink machine is out of service, there are not enough employees to clean the tables, or take food out. It seems no one cares about this place. I've been to PW a few times, but I'm pretty sure this most recent time will be the last. I ordered to go and there was some sort of fight happening between the desk and the kitchen. About a dozen people waited over an hour for food. Nothing was coming out of the kitchen. Customers were so angry. After an hour, I asked for a refund and left. We won't be back (it all seemed to be the chef's fault; hope they can him.) read more

When you order online they tell you a certain time your food will be ready at. Then when you get there, they tell you the kitchen is backed up and it will be another 20 minutes! What a horrible system!! read more

Although I frequently go to another location, this location on Mesa in El Paso is not good. First, the staff ignores you. They took a good while to acknowledge me standing a few feet away. Second, once acknowledged they had no clue about my order sitting right on counter. I had to explain it. Finally, that being said done, got home only to find tofu mixed in with a small amount of chicken. We ordered chicken. Not worth the trip to this restaurant. Complete waste of time. So disappointed in my experience tonight. I ordered Kung Pao Chicken. After a longer than usual wait, my entree came, minus the rice. Apparently, they were out of brown rice and would have to make more. I was told that it would be another 15 minutes before the rice was ready. After 10 minutes, I was brought a small bowl with about a half cup of brown rice. I wound up mixing the entree myself, which sort of defeats the pleasure of going out to eat. Even more disappointing was the lack of concern by the manager. Not once did he come over to apologize for my measly dish. Instead, he sent an employee over to offer me a free lettuce wrap on my next visit. It would have gone a long way with me had he come over, apologized, and offered to comp my meal. I tried calling in to place phone order it rang for 20 minutes when I arrived young lady was on phone trying to answer questions and she also had a long line of people wanting to order after a few minutes I suggest she spending too much time on answering questions and she has 10 customers directly in front of her. You must take care of paying customers first we have money rather than spend 20 minutes talking to someone just playing with her. You also need more than one front person taking orders it took 45 minutes to get a order in Good Luck and don't be really hungry as it takes a while read more

I was tired of the wait at their competitor down the street so I opted to have a sit-down at this restaurant. It did not disappoint. The place was packed, but I was able to find a corner booth and was served a deliciously dinner (shrimp plate and sushi). I did not care for the customer service of the girl who brought the food. She had asked me if I needed anything else. I realized I needed soy sauce for the sushi. I asked her if she could bring me some soy sauce when she had a chance (I was still working on the shrimp plate). She said I could get it myself and pointed me in the direction. Why the h*** did she ask if I needed anything if I would need to "fetch" it myself. NOTE TO STAFF: THIS IS NOT GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE. I have many other options to choose from. read more

This place is usually really good, but I had the worst experience with it a little over a week ago. I'm pretty sure Andy down below is talking about the same incident. So my dad put in an order online around and the site said it would be ready at 7:07. I get there at 7:10 to pick it up. I leave the store after 8pm after standing in the pick up section with around 10 other customers whom I've gotten to know since we were standing there waiting for our orders for almost the same amount of time. During this hour of waiting we witness the two girls at the register desperately trying to fix the mistakes of the kitchen staff. Food comes out and sits on the counter, half of it gets sent back. Almost nothing makes it out the door. I laugh for a while, trying my very best not to be rude towards the register girls because they're obviously doing the best they can. I later hear from a woman who got so fed up that she went to ask what was going on that they're training new kitchen staff. Seriously? That's your excuse? You had to train them on the busiest day of the week? You couldn't have called those of us who put in orders online and told us it was going to be a wait instead of telling us it was going to be ready literally an HOUR before it was? After I got out I actually felt like I'd been freed. I never thought I was going to leave with dinner. My dad was pissed, I was exhausted, and we still ended up leaving with an incorrect order. We ate it anyway because we waited an hour for it. Nothing was offered to the many people who stood and waited at pickup for an hour. No compensation was given. The girls at the register apologized profusely, but at this point I'm expecting a free egg roll or something. read more

Love Love Pei Wei. I take home food from here 2-3 times a month. Its kinda the little sister of P.F. Changs. Cheaper but i think they taste better. I usually order Kung Pao or the Orange Peel. When you order out the food is ready in a short amount of time. If you eat in, its a little bit of a wait. read more

My kids like Pei Wei and we stopped in one night because ordering online had our food ready an hour later--must have been a lot of online orders because the restaurant was not very crowded. I didn't pay close attention to my receipt and after sitting down after getting drinks, I realized that out of four, my meal, the only customized meal (less sauce) was missing from my receipt. I went back to cashier and asked about what happened and she was confused and called over a manager I think. I say I think because she never identified herself. She looked at everything and the cashier explained that she had customized my entree and it was just gone. The "manager" then told the cashier "obviously she didn't pay for her meal so redo it and charge her". She didn't even acknowledge me standing there; I wasn't looking for anything at all especially since I had a free entree on my rewards account. The next thing I know the cashier is holding her hand out for money and I said "well I have a free entree on my account so..." nope, that was going to be difficult and I "can use it anytime". Then the guy who brought our food knocked over our silverware which was close to the edge of the table; he picked it up and walked away and that was it. Service is hit or miss. read more

Loved this place but it went down. Same as the others, the cashier has no expression when I told her that there were no clean utensils, plates or lemons, the place was emptied and the tables were dirty, the floors were dirty with food droppings, the portions were smaller than before that I even thought it was a kids meal with no taste or flavor!!! I also Ordered the lettuce wraps and the the lettuce was old and soggy, I was not even able to finish my meal, the waiter never came back with my utensils and lemon! What a shame because I WAS a regular, not anymore and I am not a returning customer. read more

Food was delivered to our table quickly and without much fuss. My wife had the sesame chicken, I had the orange peel with own tons. Everything was very good, and together with drinks we only spent 22 bucks. As far as Asian food in El Paso goes, this is definitely a decent place to visit. read more

They added Kung Pau meal served with iceberg lettuce. Yet when you order online it only offers rice & other sides. No lettuce. I told the cashier this, she didn't seem to care. Didn't offer to get me the lettuce. All she said was hopefully they'll fix that soon. Why put new items on the menu if you can't order it? Kids meal was kinda gross, no flavor & the steak looked boiled. With all the restaurant options out there it will be a long while before I return. read more

I do like this location for the most part, there are great staff that help bring the food out and clean the dining area quickly. The reason I give it three stars is because the food is never that consistent it's just like one reviewer said it very salty and the other reason is again which another reviewer pointed out the cashier/ order taker, she (heavy set Hispanic female with glasses) was rude the restaurant was busy the dining area staff was great in getting a table ready for us prior to us ordering when I got to her she looked at us and didn't see the dining area staff had already readied a table and look at the dining area and thought there was no seating and instead of saying please wait or something said were not ready for you and turned around and began talking to the takeout cashier. Strike one, strike two when my wife and I couldn't decide on a 4 or 8 count role she turn around and told us, tell me when your ready?
