So very slow for a simple order. I used DoorDash and they took over 25 mins to make something small. I do not recommend them for take out.

The worst Pei Wei I have ever been to. I've been twice and both times were really bad experiences. I dined in with my family and ended up getting raw chicken. About a year later, I placed a take out order and it took 30 min. longer than they said it would take. The staff was rude and the food was mediocre at best. No more Pei Wei for me or my family. I would give this place 0 stars if I had the option to do so. read more

Bustling on weekdays lunch time. I ordered the sesame Tofu wok stirfry. It looked nice but was truly the worst I had. Barely any flavor, just lots of sodium. Tried to make it better by adding chili sauce but that was no good. read more

ive been to many many famous chinese restaurants all over the country and one of my favorites is the orange chicken at panda express. (look up jo koy orange chicken on youtube). pei wei is like the fancier panda express. as much as i love orange chicken i love the honey seared chix at pei wei because its actualy chicken chunks which you can see and it tastes good. i wish panda express would sell that orange sauce to pei wei. also when im feeling healthy i get the vietnamese chicken salad rolls which are extremely healthy and tasty. FYI very hard to get a seat 12-1 during the week. you may have ot wait if you're going for lunch during work i do love their take out service. one of the best, like maggianos. they know my name and order history. call head or place it online. dont wait at the place like a loser ALSO secret gem is their chocolate chip cookie which is one of THE best i've ever had. read more

I called in my order and I got the nicest girl on the phone. She was so nice and helped me so much and was so good with customer service when I got there. She genuinely brightened my day.. hence the two stars instead of one. I get home to find not one but two hairs in my food. This place is lucky to have such good customer service because TWO HAIRS in one meal is disgusting. I'm grossed out and will not return. read more

I came into the store to place an order to go. Apparently Pei Wei closes at 9 but open sign was still on, people were still eating, other customers were waiting on there to go orders and doors were still unlocked at 9:05. I didn't think I would get turned away but I did by the guy at the front desk. His exact words were "So yeah we close at 9 sorry." I work in a restaurant and the same has happened to me but I have never turned a customer away. It's unfortunate that this how their customer service is. read more

I can only assume this Pei Wei is just like any other Pei Wei. I've only been to one other, at Preston and Frankford in north Dallas, and that was about seven years ago, so my memory isn't exactly fresh. The food at this Pei Wei location is pretty good; I had the Thai dynamite chicken and was amazed at the amount of flavor (and salt) as compared with ordinary Asian fast food restaurants. At $8.93 (with tax), I felt it was a little overpriced based on the amount of meat I received, and I think $6.50 would have been a fairer price. The small box I received contained about one-third chicken and two-thirds rice, and I ended up discarding most of the rice because there was just too much of it. This location's take-out service is quick and easy, and it even has a separate door and a separate set of cash registers from the dine-in crowd. I asked for hot sauce and received two nicely-packaged little cups of chili paste, which ended up being a perfect amount. The cashier was friendly but young and obviously wished he were somewhere else. Overall, I had a good experience at Pei Wei and with their food after I brought it home. It's just up the road from where I'm staying at the moment, so I'll probably be back fairly soon. read more

Gross. This location just sucks. I got the new steak and shrimp noodle bowl and my daughter got sesame chicken. I just ate at the location in Richardson a month ago and it was soooo good. I have to say that Pei Wei used to be one of my go to places for good food. I don't know what is happened to them. Maybe they got bought out by a big restaurant conglomerate, but the two restaurants I have frquented in the last couple of years are dirty, unprepared, don't answer the phone and are generally very low-quality as far as the customer experience is concerned. She finally brought it out but one of the plates looked like leftovers. She took it back. After 30 minutes we finally got the food. Not coming back to this location. Great location, abundant parking and fast service. Everyone in our party enjoyed their meal. I had the Chicken with sweet and sour sauce and fried rice. The meal was very tasty although not as warm I would have thought if it had just come out of the stir fry pan. It was not cold, but I felt rushed eating it before it became so. Went here once and I was surprised to see that there was actually a large line. The inside has lots of red with the standard Asian themed touches. It's got the whole dark and moody thing going on. The food is not very good. It's too salty and too sweet. It's probably the least authentic Asian food around, which is pretty bad. The whole point of stir frying is to cut the food up into smaller bite sized bits. The pieces of carrots and onions in the food are cut into ridiculously large sizes, so Pei Wei obviously didn't get the memo. It was all undercooked too and expensive to boot. The gold rule of restaurants is, at any given price point, the nicer the interior, the worse the food. Pei Wei has a pretty nice interior so what does that say about the food? (Has there ever been an authentic Asian restaurant that served low carb lettuce wraps?) read more

I've gone to this place a few times for lunch. The food tasted fine. However during my visit last week I ordered fried rice with beef and got a big serving. The fried rice looked moist which I think is odd and I did not finish the bowl. I decided to put the leftover in a box and found hair in the fried rice. Somehow I feel lucky I did not eat the hair but who knows if there were more of it. I'll be avoiding this place. read more

Probably one of the worst food experiences I have ever had. Ordered two salads online for pick up. Got there, paid, checked the order in the car, and I was shocked to find nothing but a sad and wet looking pile of ahi on top of wilted romaine. I approached the cashier about it and he said that the cook must have assumed that I wanted nothing but meat and lettuce because I "removed most of the ingredients". Um, what? So because I took off some ingredients, I suppose that means I probably don't want the rest that I didn't remove? I asked if he could have the cook re-make it with the proper toppings and fresh lettuce and he said yes. This time the ingredients were right, and I was tired from a long shift, so I just went home. Not to my surprise, I open them up and find more brown wilted romaine and soggy rotten mixed greens underneath the toppings. If you don't have lettuce that is fresh, then don't serve salads. The cook who remade this with the spoiled lettuce should be ashamed of himself, and probably fired. He clearly doesn't care about the food he is sending out. read more

I eat at Pei Wei several times a year and something is changing with their food and not in an especially good way. I like that they give a choice of small or regular on the entrees because the small fits my appetite perfectly. But it seems the proportion of rice to meat and vegetables has changed to where the rice is predominate. This visit was during supper rush hour as a to-go order. The length of my time walking in, ordering and receiving the food was about 10-15 minutes, which was very good. But I was disappointed with my food. The spring roll was greasy. I also ate the Pei Wei Spicy with beef and it was not at all spicy. Just seems overall that Pei Wei's food is getting kind of bland. read more
