The waffles are amazing! Crips on the outside and nice and soft on the inside! Delicious! And they are gluten free! Amazing! Will come back again! The service is wonderful, was seated quickly and was able to order a short time later.

Not a huge breakfast menu but everything is gluten free. The waffles were soft and buttery for being gluten free. Small space but we didn't have to wait to get seated. There was only one server working but he did a great job making sure everyone was taken care of.

Yum. Like seriously a good solid plate of delicious food. I ordered simply, and honestly, I didn't need more. Yes there are plates here of food covered in frosting, whipped cream, and flavours galore, and the rest of the family loved them... I had simple and that's a wonderful unintended test of their food, and it was seasoned right, no salt or pepper needed. The service was also perfect, the server was awesome, energetic and attentive. The was covering a bunch of tables, but we got everything we needed quickly. The ambiance is simple, spacious, maybe a touch too vast with the 20ft ceilings, but who cares when the family is enjoying a good meal. Highly recommend.

First time guest! Waffles were amazing and server was kind and on top it. My one complaint I have was, I ordered a side of potatoes with my breakfast. They were burnt, very burnt and hard. Like break a tooth hard. If I was a back of the house staff member I would not have sent them out to a table. If I was a server I would have noticed my guest wasn't eating them.

Loved the Benedict waffle, the avocado was a nice touch. Best meal of our entire trip to Spokane. Thanks to our friend for showing us this gem. Ample street parking nearby. Kid friendly!

Loved it! Took my DIL to lunch the other day and we had a really enjoyable time. We've been wanting to try this unique eatery for a while. It wasn't too busy and we were greeted by a friendly and accommodating wait staff. Nice choices on the menu and some monthly specials to choose from. I ordered the March special called "the shamrock " which had Peppermint and chocolate toppings on a 2 stack waffle. It was delicious. My DIL had "the Benny". She loved it. Nice choices of sweet or savory. They also have waffle stuffed sandwiches. Definitely a place to check out. Prices are reasonable as well.

Amazing. Best find for gluten free breakfast. Ambience cute; service was great. Food was outstanding. Portions were great- not too small. Menu highlights: waffle sandwich w egg cheese & sausage, cinnamon waffle and the most important- fried chicken and waffles- alll gluten free. So happy I found this spot. Would definitely go back again when in town.

Omg, I found my new breakfast spot for my Spokane trips. I'm in town somewhat often, and finally had a chance to try People's Waffle. Hands-down, best gluten-free waffles I've ever had. This place is super small, but cute, and constantly packed, so expect to wait, but it's totally worth it. I waited about 15 minutes for a table for one and was updated the whole time by the hostess on the wait time. She was so friendly and helpful. I sat at the bar top with two other customers, but I didn't mind. I ordered the waffle benedict, and the half order of the blueberry and strawberry waffle. The benedict waffle was slightly salty for me, but it might've been that I haven't had hollandaise in a really long time. I also thought the ham was just a little too thinly shaved, other than that it was delicious. The eggs were cooked perfectly and there was plenty of hollandaise sauce. The blueberry and strawberry waffles were absolutely delicious! I knew I over ordered with the intent of having leftovers for the next morning. The benedict waffle tasted so great reheated, and strawberry and blueberry waffle were delicious ice cold. They were all perfect for a second serving. :) Overall, this place was affordable, clean, and delicious. I highly recommend coming here if you have gluten sensitivities or are gluten-free. I asked about the little disclaimer on the menu about them not being a certified gluten-free kitchen, and my servers response was, even though everything in their kitchen is gluten-free, some of the products they use are manufactured in facilities that are not certified gluten-free, therefore, they cannot get the "certified gluten-free kitchen" stamp of approval. I have celiac, and had absolutely no problems or reaction eating here. I absolutely will be back, and look forward to my next Spokane trip. Thanks, People's Waffle for having such delicious gluten-free food at an affordable price!

Omg wow. What a great little hole-in-the-wall breakfast spot! The kitchen is 100% and EXCLUSIVELY gluten free, with some vegan options. Their waffles are light and fluffy which, in my experience, is hard to achieve with GF recipes. I ordered a "waffle-wich" and I think I it's my new favorite way to eat waffles! All their ingredients were fresh and delicious (you have to try their dairy free whip cream!). The staff was friendly and helpful, even the server who just started was amazing. People's Waffle has made our "must come back to" list. Also, we stayed at Hotel Indigo down the street (see my review for them on my profile), but it's a couple blocks away and very convenient for a quick and/or early breakfast!

I finally got a chance to stop by this spot mid- December. First, this spot was had super cute decor. I also love that they have sweet and savory options, I'm team savory though. So I got the Wafflewich and it was sooo tasty. The waffle had a crunch outside and soft inside. The bacon, egg and avocado paired excellently with this sauce. After the first half, it did get a little heavy. This would be perfect to share where one person got a savory and the other person got a sweet item. Latte was great for waking me up and pretty. I would definitely come back. Staff was also super friendly. Walkable distance from the Davenport hotels nearby but there is also street and parking lots available.

We had a great experience here. We celebrated a birthday with a party of eight and they were able to accommodate us easily. The service was fantastic, the food presentation and taste was delicious. It was a really cool vibe in there and we were there during pride month and they had a theme pride waffle, which was pretty cool.

However, Luna does offer a lot of things for this price. You have a pleasant neighborhood restaurant vibe, with friendly attentive service and excellent, healthy food sourced from good places. As with anything in Spokane, you will see folks in very casual attire, but this is also a place where you can dress up. When we went, there were several tables of women friends (all ages), many family groups (without young kids or with well-behaved kids), and older couples. I was in the mood for salmon and they did a great version. It should be though for just under $50. It was served with black rice (good) and roasted carrots (good) and a carrot puree (really good but not enough on the plate). My dining companion got the scallops, and they were even more expensive than the salmon. $48 for TWO scallops. Ok, they are large, and well-cooked, and came with a lovely vegetable mix and couscous, but that's a lot of $ for Spokane. We are from CA and that's even a shocker for us. Dessert: they had recently added a banana pudding, which was good. It replaced a chocolate dessert--and that was a bad move because there is no intense chocolate on the menu. We also tried the coconut cake with lemon curd. There was not enough curd; it was barely a tang. The cake itself was a little dry. It is served with house-made ice cream, which balances the dryness but the cake should be good on its own. Apparently, this is their most popular dessert. I am a chocolate-first person. I like coconut. I like good vanilla. I really like lemon curd and a sweet-sour pairing. For me, this item felll short.

We told the server it tasted burnt & old so she offered to make a fresh pot. It was just as bad, when she asked we said it was still really yucky and she said that a lot of people don't care for it. I ordered the tamale waffle. The beef was great, eggs were a bit overcooked but no biggie, the waffle was really hard and dry. It needs some sort of crema sauce or something. It wasn't horrible by any stretch but it wasn't great either. My mom got the veggie breakfast burrito and she liked the veggies though it was bland, felt like it could have had more sour cream & cheese. It was massive and came with a side. The added 16% service fee is some real BS. It says on the receipt that it's split between the server & the kitchen staff. Call me old fashioned but I thought it was on the restaurant to pay their staff a living wage. At $18 a breakfast plate & $4 for drip coffee you should be able to pay your staff. And then we're supposed to tip on top of that? Nope.

We always make it a point to get the beignets from Francaise when we come to Spokane, so on this trip we decided to stop in for dinner. Francaise has a warm inviting "dining room" vibe that gives comfort to its guest. The exposed brick, warm lighting and plants really set the tone for intentional conversation and intimate dinners. While we did come on a night that seemed like they were short staff, our servers were still checking in and very accommodating with how busy it was. We ordered the Pain Maison, Black Truffle French Fries, Risotto à la Forestière, Steak Frites*and Grand Marnier Croissant Bread Pudding. Pain Maison - 7/10 I think the bread was good, I do wish it had been a bit warmer and that there would have been a flavor to the butter. Black Truffle French Fries - 10/10 These were executed so well. The fries on their own carried a lot of flavor, and the truffle took it to another level. We could have easily eaten another basket. Risotto à la Forestière - 8/10 I stole a few bites off of my wife's plate. There were portions of the duck that were a bit dry, but overall it was very tasty. The risotto carried a lot of flavor and the white wine sauce finished everything nicely. Steak Frites - 7/10 I did end up switching my fries to the Robuchon potatoes because they sounded so good and they were. As far as the steak itself, it was cooked to perfection, but I did not enjoy the blue cheese-cognac butter like I thought I would have. There was a charred sweetness to it that I was not expecting (completely on me) and it made me wish I had just ordered the steak itself. Grand Marnier Croissant Bread Pudding - 9/10 The ice cream completely took this dessert to the stars! The Bread pudding in itself had a hard outer layer with a soft and flavorful inner layer, and the combination with the salted caramel ice cream was delicious.  I think that Francaise would be a great place to do Hors D'oeuvres along with drinks and dessert along with friends or for a date- I am curious to try their short rib and think I will make it a point to do so when we come back.

I am talking no juice dry. The way the patties were made made it difficult to even eat. They were so roundish that I could barely keep them together in the bun. To make the burger even dryer, there was no sauce of any kind on/in the bun and the meat had not been seasoned at all during cooking, so it was dry and bland. Too make matters worse I had to ask for a side of mayo and they charged me 75 cents - are you kidding me? I was hesitant to ask for some mustard and ketchup, which should have already been at or brought to the table to begin with. The waitress was pleasant, but I had to ask for everything. I would have returned the burger, but I was having lunch with a friend and did not want to ruin the encounter. I got the batter fries, which were crispy and seasoned well, but with the dry burger the fries didn't help. At that moment I wish I had ordered the side salad instead, as my friend's looked mouthwatering and my mouth needed watering; LOL. Anyway, the burger and fries, with water came to almost $25, with tip. I had been there once before, but I couldn't remember what I had; it was that memorable. I hate McDonald's and have not been there in about a decade, but I would have gladly eaten a double quarter pounder, with cheese, and some fries over this overpriced cotton mouth special.
