This is the only hotel that I will stay at in Reno. I have been here many many times over the past few years. It's a quick getaway with a beautiful drive from Cali! I have stayed in the Peppermill Tower primarily, however the Tuscany Tower is nice. The hotel rooms are nice in both towers. The food is decent at every restaurant that I have been, although I have not tried all of them. I have my favorites and you can't go wrong with any of them, honestly. Always a great time at the Peppermill Reno.

*3.5 but rounding to 4 stars* For a casino hotel, Peppermill is pretty clean and didn't have any bad odors. We booked a deluxe king room with the steam shower. We unfortunately got a room in a bad location. It was really close to the elevator and ice machines so there was constant noise throughout the night. The room is very spacious and had lots of bathroom counter space. The steam shower makes it feel like you have your own personal sauna room. Cool to experience. Lots of great amenities such as a spa, two pools and a decent fitness room. We're not big on gambling so it was nice that they had a "Game Lab" aka an arcade room. This hotel has plenty of parking. They have some EV chargers but it may be difficult to get one as it's very populated.

The resort was beautiful! There are several places to eat, a game room, casino, HUGE TVs throughout, and a beautiful pool area. The hotel room was great with lots of beautiful amenities. The issue isn't with the location it's with construction occurring on the roof. It was during daytime hours but began as early as 7am! The constant banging at different parts of the roof right over our hotel room made it hard to sleep in or relax during the day. They shouldn't have allowed for booking of certain rooms if they knew construction in the roof was occurring.

I had a great stay at the Peppermill Hotel & Casino! The rooms were clean, spacious, and very comfortable, making it easy to relax after a long day. The staff was friendly and welcoming from check-in to check-out, and everyone I interacted with provided excellent customer service. The casino had a fun atmosphere with plenty of gaming options, and there were several great restaurants to choose from. Everything was well-maintained, and the overall property felt upscale and inviting. Whether you're visiting to gamble, enjoy the restaurants, or just have a weekend getaway, I highly recommend the Peppermill. I'll definitely be back!

Feeding my Christmas decorations addiction and Peppermill is coming in close to it's competition. Beautiful Christmas trees. I do love the energy at peppermill. Especially watching sports and having a light adult beverage.

On a last-minute trip to visit my dad in Reno, we booked the Peppermill Resort since that's where he was staying. We have two kids, so we were happy to see that the hotel is kid-friendly and even has an arcade and a heated pool, which was perfect for winter. Unfortunately, we traveled during a storm and the drive took about 14 hours. I was able to call the front desk ahead of time and request a room on the same floor as my dad. They made a note in our reservation, and when I received the mobile check-in text, I could see the request reflected there. Once I completed mobile check-in, it confirmed we were on the same floor. It still took another 10 hours before we finally arrived, but our room was ready and the final check-in process was smooth and easy. The room itself was very spacious for a family of four. We really appreciated that the double beds were queen-sized--after recently staying at a Marriott with full-size beds, this was way better. There was plenty of storage in the drawers and closet for all our snow gear, swimwear, and regular clothes for 4 people over two days. The beds were comfortable and everything was clean. We were thankful to be on a non-smoking floor, which gave us a break from the smoke smell in the casino areas. I understand this is a casino and that indoor smoking is allowed in Nevada, so I won't complain about that. I called the front desk a few times during our stay, and every interaction was friendly and responsive. While I don't gamble, drink, or smoke--so this isn't really my scene--I would absolutely recommend this hotel to anyone who enjoys some or all of those things.

Got a room for the night so went to spa before check in. Great spot! Nice staff. Clean and fancy feeling compared to other Reno trips. Steakhouse dinner here tonight so may add that to this review.

Went here for a spa day to celebrate my besties birthday and WOW! I was blown away by the relaxing vibes, the complimentary snacks and drinks on every floor, the salt room, zero gravity room, the saunas, hot tubs, pools, and so much more. We got a service done and chose a facial and it was the all about me package and it was the best facial I've ever had. My skin is glowing and I feel so relaxed after spending the day there. They provide robes, lockers, sandals, soaps/scrubs for the shower too. This was a huge treat but I hope I can come back again for another special occasion.

8/7/25 FYI. Peppermill, Hot August Nights! Booths
    Lee D.

Quality/Quantity - Overall good. We came here today for Hot August Nights. Their parking garage was under construction, but still plenty of spaces, even with Hot August Night going on. Still easy in and out. Atmosphere - What is up with all your large screen TVs? To create FAKE selfies...? See picture. 1623 rooms, 785 suites, 10 restaurants, and a convention space all within the hotel. Notable restaurants are: Bimini Steakhouse, Biscotti's, Biscott's Cafe, Cafe Espresso, Cafe Milano, Casino Bar, Chi, Fireside lounge, High Limit Slot Lounge, Island Buffet (currently closed), Lobby Lounge, Oceano (2016 remodel), Romanza, Sole Poolside, Sports Bar and Deli, The Pub, The Terrace, and White Orchid Private Dining. Tuscany themed. Heated outdoor pool and cabanas. A fairly large gym. You can also get married in the Pisa Room. Spa & salon. Free use of computers for flight information or to print boarding passes. So many bright video slot machines. Add this with the big screen TVs and I am starting to get dizzy... Poker room. Etc. Service - Good. Mostly self service. Well today my waitress was amazing, the beers kept coming and I even left winning $7, LOL. I gave my winnings away as a tip. Price - Normal for a resort casino. Casino resort prices. Owner Suggestion - Congrats on your success since 1971.

Our room in the Tuscany Tower was awesome!! We felt we were living the life of luxury!!! The leather couch in the sitting room, the vanity and the huge jetted tub in the bathroom with a tv, and the king sized bed! There were plenty of outlets, tables, seating, etc. We enjoyed a few meals at our stay. Our favorite is Romanzas. We invited friends to join us, we chatted quite awhile before we were greeted and our order taken. Each couple ordered the Caesar salad to be split and our individual entrees. We once again waited quite awhile and our entrees arrived, no salad. Our waiter didn't hear us say we still wanted our salads but said he would get us dessert. We didn't see him again until we had finished our entrees and his assistant provided us with boxes. He came back eventually and asked for our dessert choices. I was pretty disappointed with the service, it wasn't busy so I really have no idea where our server was during our meal. The food was delicious as always we were a little embarrassed in front of our friends because we spoke so highly of the food and service. We enjoyed our staycation. It's nice to have a place so close that makes you feel like you are on a vacation far from home!

I travel constantly, and this was by far the worst hotel experience I've ever had. I am a Platinum member of Hotels.com, and I have never encountered anything like this. I booked a "One Bedroom" unit, with guaranteed check-in at 3:00 PM, but when I arrived, the room was not even ready by 5:00 PM. I had to wait another 30 minutes before I could finally enter. Upon entering, I realized it was a studio instead of the one-bedroom I had booked. The staff insisted this was the correct room and tried to justify it by saying they have connecting rooms, which is misleading and clearly not what was advertised. When I called Hotels.com to try to resolve the issue, the front desk staff brazenly lied, claiming that I was in the room I had booked -- which was absolutely false. I had to provide evidence to the Hotels.com manager proving that I was in a completely different room. I spent hours arguing at the front desk, and the situation was made far worse by extremely rude behavior from the manager on duty and security staff, who laughed at me and openly mocked me. I felt humiliated and even discriminated against, as they acted as if I could not speak English fluently, despite me and my children being fully fluent. This issue was honestly not a big problem -- I was ready to stay in the hotel for all six nights I had booked. If the managers had been even slightly smarter and treated their clients with basic human decency, the problem could have been resolved easily and peacefully. But they were not interested in solving the issue. They were interested in escalating the conflict and humiliating me as a guest and as a person. This is absolutely outrageous: they clearly do not care about families with children who are traveling and tired after a long trip. Security staff, who are supposed to protect hotel guests, instead humiliated us and applied pressure. These people completely forget that they are working for a living and earning the money that we pay them. To make matters worse, the room I booked for six nights at approximately $1,100 ended up charging more than $1,700 at check-in. They add $50 per night on top of the original price, plus an absurd security deposit of about $314. Can you imagine? Booking a room for $1,100 and ending up paying $600 more upon arrival. This is extremely strange and unacceptable. Only after several hours of conflict, and with pressure from Hotels.com due to the misleading listing and false information about the room, the hotel finally agreed to refund my booking. Of course, there was no compensation for the several hours lost or the stress and frustration caused. Absolutely terrible. The hotel itself is beautiful, clean, and has a nice pool, but the service is completely unacceptable. Staff are rude, unprofessional, and the experience is stressful. Even basic amenities, like toiletries, are minimal for a family of three, and everything feels overpriced and impersonal. I do not recommend staying at this hotel. Despite its appearance, it left me with nothing but negative emotions.

    The steam shower
    Justin W.

My first stay at the Peppermill was a really pleasant experience. I actually got upgraded because the room I originally booked wasn't available -- total Jerry Seinfeld moment (if you know, you know). The room itself was spacious, clean, and very comfortable. The king bed was great, and the pillows had just the right amount of support. But the real highlight was the bathroom -- especially the steam shower, which was amazing after a long day. Overall, I'd definitely recommend staying here if you're in Reno. Great rooms, nice amenities, and a solid experience all around.

Pool complex offers both sunny and shade areas.

For a trip into Reno, the Peppermill is a fine choice. One thing to be aware of, is the remoteness of the Western Tower building. I would not advise selecting a room in this part of the hotel. The first floor faces directly onto the sidewalk, so you can expect pedestrians to have visual access to your room. I did enjoy the Peppermill tower rooms very much. The pool complex is one of the best in Reno, and the gym is truly exceptional. They have dry and wet saunas. The jacuzzis in the pool area are sensational. Lots of good restaurants in the area. Peppermill is a great choice, I would certainly return to this resort.

Super construction going on and the parking lots are a mess, you don't know to go right or left and I got lost finding entrances even after 3 days.really dirty too. 2. The dirt doesn't stop there. Our first room we were given was so smokey I mean burning eyes smokey. There was a box fan sitting outside the room so I think they tried to air it out but it was like someone burned a cigar in there and just closed the door. 3. After going thru a room swap we were given another room. Fine but there was a dirty rag left in the bathroom counter with hairs all over it. Not a huge deal but still, come on right? 4. The late check out. Went to the front desk night before to make sure late check out was ok since we were at an event that morning. No problem they said you got until 4 with an additional fee. Great right? Nope since our room was a room that was attached to a suite they needed us out before that. Just come on again! 5. The service is just rude everywhere. I mean everyone you encounter! The Rim restaurant guy host in a suit..., I'm convinced was high as a kite. Don't believe me, go there and talk to him, holy! The security desk, rude and unhelpful. Anyone you call on the phone from the room, rude. I'm not expecting Disney customer service, but come on man! Someone teach these guys some customer service skills. So the good.... The resort is really cool. Bowling video games, nice casino, everything to spend a fun weekend. We may even come back just to do the pool and stuff to do there. To wrap it up... Lower your expectations. Your not going to get the cleanest room. Most certainly you will be treated rudely. It's a place that could be so epic but falls short due to just taking short cuts in the customer service, organization and just plain care about your whole experience factor. P.S. you will receive at least 5 text messages telling you about how great their spa is.

The room was okay--nothing special, but no major complaints. The Starbucks is always packed, which seems to be the norm here. Today, I visited the Second Street Marketplace downstairs. The young employee who assisted me had very poor customer service. He didn't acknowledge me, didn't offer a bag for the items I purchased, didn't say thank you, and seemed more interested in chatting with his coworkers than helping customers. Based on what I observed, I wasn't the only customer having issues with him. We also requested housekeeping service for our room. We were informed there would be a charge, which was fine with us. However, after the service, the room looked exactly the same. The bed was made, but that was about it. Now, let's talk about the restaurant downstairs. I ordered a steak, but they brought me chicken instead. I clearly told the waitress I wanted steak. When I pointed out the mistake, another older employee insisted that what I was served was steak. I'm pretty sure I know the difference between chicken and steak. Fortunately, Teddy stepped in, listened to my concern, apologized, and had my order corrected. That is what great customer service looks like. Even our waitress suggested that I just eat the chicken, but guests should never be told to accept something they didn't order. The casino and the room itself were good, and I enjoyed those aspects of my stay. However, many of the staff members could benefit from additional customer service training. To corporate, management, the CEO, owner, or whoever is responsible: please invest in better customer service training. Your guests deserve a better experience. #CustomerService #Management #Hospitality #GuestExperience

After nearly 10 months of planning, I expected the basics to be handled correctly. When we checked in, we were given a double room instead of the King room we reserved. I went back to the front desk and was told that because they were oversold for Thursday night, there was no way to move us into a King room at all during our stay. That explanation didn't make much sense--they confirmed they had King rooms available Tuesday and Wednesday, but because of the Thursday overbooking, they couldn't honor the reservation for any of the nights. So even though I booked months in advance and had already arrived, I was effectively bumped in favor of guests who hadn't even checked in yet. To make matters worse, only 2 out of 5 elevators were working the entire stay, which led to long waits (up to 20 minutes to get down in the morning) and added frustration. After the fact, I looked through other reviews and saw that this seems to be an ongoing issue, not a one-off situation. Between the reservation not being honored and the operational problems, it was a pretty disappointing experience overall. Skip this place.

They did not think to hire more staff for the busy Memorial Day weekend and the basketball/volleyball/adult softball tournaments that were going on in the area. The night before we had to leave our car halfway in the street because valet was so backed up. The guest service manager told us to leave it half away in the street. The next day the same manager blamed the desk agent for losing our key when they did the same thing in the morning when she wasn't there. The English muffin was toasted just right, the egg was cooked well, and the combination of meat and cheese made for a filling breakfast without being greasy. If you're looking for an affordable, no-frills breakfast that hits the spot, this is definitely worth checking out. Great value, quick service, and tasty comfort food. I'd happily order both again.

I ordered a grilled chicken cobb salad. when it did arrive, the waitress, Portia, literally dropped it and ran I had to get up to catch her. So, my salad had no grilled chicken. it had been replaced by a couple slices of processed sandwich meat. And I waited an hour. The response: "guess they were out of chicken." I reached out but management had nothing to say. Tried to speak with HR, and they were pathetically unprofessional. Do yourself a favor and avoid this burning dumpster fire. From the moment I walked in, several employees greeted me with smiles as I made my way to the Players Club. At the Players Club, Michele was incredibly helpful and happy to reprint my players card. She also told me about the 25% buffet discount and explained how to print it from the kiosk. I tried finding the buffet on my own but couldn't locate it. I asked the security guard on duty for directions, and not only did he give me clear instructions, but he also personally escorted me to the escalators I needed to take upstairs. That level of customer service really stood out to me. Once upstairs, Ursula greeted me with a smile at the register and even joked about "ONLY having four hours left" in her shift when I asked how her day was going. I was seated right away, and my drink order was taken almost immediately by Hachib. Hachib was probably the most impressive waiter I've seen in a very long time. He was kind, polite, funny, and genuinely engaged with the guests. He even suggested a drink when he noticed I wasn't sure what I wanted. Watching him interact with the other guests around me, it was clear that he truly enjoys what he does and takes pride in going above and beyond. The food was good, but the service I experienced was phenomenal. Because of the outstanding staff, I will definitely be coming back -- and often.

Jhela - Porter 5/28/26 She is always busy and constantly on the move. I've seen her doing double duty, cleaning the casino floor area as well as the restrooms near the Aspen Tower. Week after week, she is out on the floor maintaining a clean and welcoming environment for guests. Her dedication and strong work ethic have definitely not gone unnoticed. Gage - Security 6/1/26 I first met Gage when he kindly assisted me with opening a water bottle. We ended up chatting about his name since my nephew has the same name. Since then, I've noticed him regularly making his rounds throughout the property, always professional, approachable, and attentive. I wanted to take a moment to make sure these two individuals are recognized for their efforts and commitment to providing a positive guest experience. Thank you, Jhela and Gage, for all that you do!

Welcome to Baldinis: Where the worst things happen…read more The only reason they are getting two stars is for the food. DO NOT COME HERE TO GAMBLE AT ALL COSTS. Period. I've been here at least 20 times and every single time they widdle down your money and you will leave with nothing you came in with. Slots are horrible, Keno never hits, not sure about video poker but I'd be willing to bet (with a much better chance at winning than if I were to bet anything here) that the poker is garbage too. Standard service, not anything to write home about. This is clearly a hang out spot for people that are already poor and Baldinis makes good and sure they stay that way. You know how you walk in a casino and hear or see lots of people hitting jackpots? Not this place. Just people chain smoking to calm their anxiety of getting robbed once again by the infamous Baldinis. Terrible casino. They will try and hook you with promotions but they are only to get you to show up and feel like you have a chance at winning something but you will indeed win nothing so save yourself the headache and go somewhere else. Of all the Casinos in Reno/Sparks the places that hit the hardest have proven time and again to be Sierra Sid's (right down the street on McCarran) and Peppermill. I've given this place too many chances to redeem themselves but I always walk out of here irritated. They don't even give you small wins on any of the machines to break you in at even or slightly above. Every machine is the same thing: win slightly less than you're betting to chase a dragon that does not exist. Food is notably priced but again that's the only reason I'm giving 2 stars. As a Casino this place is more than deserving of a full Zero Stars.

We stayed in the Sky Tower and had a nice view of the Sierra Nevada mountains. There were some bits of noise at times out in the hallways but nothing too distracting. My only issues with the room was the loud noise from the AC/Heater, very firm beds that weren't the most comfortable and a sink that makes a gurgling sound after you run water. But overall it's very convenient because you have full access to the Row. The Midway is still as fun as it was when I enjoyed going back in the 90s. I carefully checked to see if there would be any additional fees, and none were mentioned. I saw the complete fee, which I agreed to and paid. A few days after my booking, I got an additional charge for two hefty "resort fees" which is a hidden charge that I never agreed to. I have been staying with Circus Circus Reno for many years, and this is the first time such an issue has occurred. Per FTC federal law: The total amount must be given to me at the time of booking and must include any "drip booking" or charges such as "resort fees." Such fees cannot be hidden, and they must be disclosed before payment. This was also agreed upon by PriceLine. When I called Circus Circus, they gave me the run-around and said their resort fees were mandatory and to contact Priceline if I had an issue. I know the hotel can easily refund me such a fee, but they chose not to. Beware if you stay here - they can just charge your credit card as they like, it seems.
