I had to move and install my old fridge to the second floor condo from my first floor condo. Before that an existing fridge (very heavy) had to be moved out and loaded on a friend's truck. Finally move a new fridge to my first floor condo. I bought my new fridge from airport appliance. Their installers refused to do any of the above given the hall and step constraints. BEWARE: Perez Moving Co. is a disaster. They had no idea what they were doing. The list of things they broke is too long for this review. It includes art, candlesticks, antiques, a headboard, and on and on. When we complained, they claimed items "must have moved in the truck." But our belongings weren't even properly protected. These are not Professional Movers, they are just Guys Who Move Stuff. Big difference. Professional moving companies do more than just lift boxes. They protect your belongings and get them safely from point A to point B. These guys failed across the board. They didn't wrap up any of our things, including our art. Paintings arrived scratched and damaged. They didn't wrap fragile objects, like ceramic vases (?!!) instead the movers shoved them into boxes along with other items. Various items had multiple parts, but since these weren't packaged together, parts were lost. The goal of this moving company seemed to be to get the move over with as quickly as possible without a single concern about our belongings. I wish I'd looked more closely at these reviews before booking this moving company. I would've noticed (as you should) that most of the reviews are written by people who seem to have joined Yelp just to write a positive review of this company. Major red flag. Don't make the same mistake we did. If you value your valuables, find another moving company. read more

Yesterday Felix and his crew helped us move from a four-bedroom house into a two-bedroom place, and I honestly couldn't be more impressed. This was my first time ever using a moving company, and my biggest fear going in was the classic hourly scam, dragging their feet to rack up time. That couldn't have been further from what happened. These guys showed up early and moved like they were on a mission. Nonstop. Go, go, go. I felt like I was in the way most of the time, and I probably was. They handled everything, broke things down, wrapped everything carefully, and treated our stuff like it was their own. My daughter's toys were individually wrapped. Nothing was damaged. Not a single thing. They were even willing to take their shoes off and put them back on repeatedly while going in and out of the house, which says a lot about their professionalism and respect. On top of that, Felix and his crew reinstalled our washer and dryer twice and made sure everything was set up exactly where we wanted it in the new place. Very professional, extremely efficient, and worth every dollar. Pricing was very fair for the level of service. These guys are not a normal moving company. I had a last second, small move of a bed, box spring and bed frame and was having zero luck in finding a company who could accommodate such a move in an understandably short timeframe of less than 24 hours. Felix, the owner, promptly answered my call, and he said he could adjust his schedule to make the move happen. Our detail oriented friend recommended Felix to us. I hired them to move, and selected the option to include full packing. BEST DECISION EVER. I'm never packing myself for any moves ever again. Felix and his crew are like a whirlwind that swept through my house and packed up the 4 bedrooms in less than 3 hours. It would have taken me more than a month to get packing painfully done. During moving, all I had to do is sit and wait for them to pack and move. Most relaxing move process ever. They were also very considerate and I asked for no shoes indoors - this slows them down a bit and cost more time but I think it's absolutely worth it as your house is kept pretty clean. In my previous moves, movers wore shoes indoors and I spent more time and effort cleaning. Felix replies promptly, and is very upfront and honest with fees. I was worried about a big truck being hard to find space near our home. During moving day, their larger truck was broken, so they came with the smaller truck. Even though it takes 2 trips (more time), this worked out great for us as the streets are narrow and a smaller truck is more nimble and was able to park in the driveway. Perfect moving experience! For context- I have moved 19 times and thus have experienced all different kinds of moving companies. I will honestly say this was the BEST experience I have ever had. Felix was present himself; he and his crew worked tirelessly and diligently to wrap all our items well, transport them with care, and deliver them to our new place. There was not a single scratch or dent on any item or on the walls/doors. The furniture that was taken apart, like a king bed frame, was put back together perfectly. The best part? I was nervous to use a moving company since I had never used one before. I was doing research on Yelp and the options were overwhelming as it seems everyone and their brother has a moving company! However, looking at Perez's rave reviews I decided to go for it and I'm so happy I did. All I had was essentially one room to pack up and I had pre-packed before they arrived. They got to my house literally right on time (actually a couple minutes early) and had two lovely guys who started right away. They were super efficient yet careful with all my stuff. So funny thing on how I settled on using this company for moving. I saw a Nextdoor post of free moving boxes. I already had boxes, but I messaged the person asking who they used for moving and how they liked it. They told me they moved several times over the last ten years, but this last company was the best experience and reasonable prices. So I requested a quote to move from South San Francisco to the East Bay. Got the estimate and it was a nice simple estimate. Based on the items I had to move, he said it would be a three person crew. So there's a quoted gas fee and an hourly rate for the move. No hidden costs. Felix emailed me asking when I wanted to move. I told him I'm still in the escrow process, but will contact him as I get firm dates. As I got closer to securing a date to get the keys, I would email Felix with questions and he would always respond VERY quickly. Finally secured a date and they showed up on time. My move was simple as I hauled items myself the week prior. They wrapped all my furniture in blankets (no extra charge) then wrapped that in plastic. Wrapped my mattress as well in a new mattress wrap (again, no extra cost). Finished loading the truck in two hours. About an hour to get to the new house. Then an hour to unload. They start the clock when they show up, and stop once everything is unloaded and in place. 3 hour minimum and partial hours after that are in 15 minute increments. Price was right, move was efficient, and best of all, superb communications. read more
