4 stars! They couldn't have picked a better name, but I will anoint thee "CoffeeBar!" If you want a laid back spot for a morning or lunch bite and brew (coffee) or an afternoon munch and brew (beer or wine), this is a great option. Right away you know you are at a coffeeshop as the counter space showcases pastries and teas. Behind the counter are the coffee machine essentials; espresso machine, coffee machine, coffee flavor pumps, etc. The other side of this cafe's theme vaguely comes into play once you look at the shelf above, with beer bottles and wine bottles lined across. I feel based on their set up they skew towards the perk, more than the brew, but it's nice to have the best of both worlds available to you. There are many times I am out with my husband after work and I'm not really in the mood for a drink and would prefer a coffee. Lame I know, but sometimes caffeine trumps alcohol! They have a large chalk board on the wall that showcases their menu highlights, but it would be best to look at their full menu, as they have a lot more to offer then they show on the board. The menu is a delicious mixed bag, as you have quality breakfast, lunch, and small plate options. For drinks, you have a great variety of coffee, specialty coffee, espresso drinks and teas, as well as smoothies, sodas, wine, and beer. Coffee drink prices are extremely reasonable, if not better than most coffeeshops. I had a huge yummy mug of cafe au lait for a mere $2.50! A glass of wine is $4 and beers range from $3-$10, so again extremely good prices. For food you have cheese plates, small plates, hot plates, salads, breakfast sandwiches, pastries, and deli sandwiches. Again a complete mixed bag of dishes, but the quality and price can't be beat. Everything is basically $8 or less. The overall decor isn't very warm and inviting though, with table seating comparable to a deli and a couch randomly placed in the back of the cafe. However, they have ample indoor and outdoor seating and umbrellas for the tables outside. They are working on their storefront signage, as it's just a banner now. Easy to miss if your not looking for it! The service was an absolute 5 stars though. She was the only person running the cafe and she never looked frazzled once. I hope they get her some help though at some point because she is wearing way too many hats there (barista, bartender, waitress, store manager, etc...) Outside is pet friendly. They have free WIFI. Happy hour, but call ahead to find out as their business hours vary, especially closing times. I really really like the idea of this place, but I think they are still figuring how to make it all work. They have more than half the battle figured out as food, service, and coffee are all great. However, the hours are inconsistent, happy hours are too random, and they need to find a way to let the space reflect the theme better. It doesn't cry bar or a place to go for happy hour at all and I think once they figure that out this place will be a hit. They are relatively new, so I am hopeful and interested to see how their business grows with time! read more

We came here on a whim after our workout. We were only going to get coffee, but decided that the Cape Coma Burrito looked too good to pass up. We ordered an almond milk cappuccino (accidentally made it with regular milk, so they remade it without issue) and a coffee, plus the burrito. It was good. The only downside was that it took a good 25 minutes for our one burrito (we split it) to arrive. Overall, a good experience, and a DELICIOUS burrito. read more

Second time here. Love this place. The coffee is smooth and delicious and a large is a LARGE! My husband and I had the quesadillas the first time -- delicious! And just today we had the Cape Coma Burrito -- excellent. We sat outside both times to people watch. The waitress, Theresa, was prompt, courteous and was kind enough to bring our pooch organic peanut butter cookies and a bowl of water. This place is FABULOUS I became tired of the chain breakfast places yearning for someplace off the beaten path. Today I discovered Perk & Brew. I ordered a quiche Garlic, Asparagus Mushroom & Aged White Cheddar and it was delectable. To take home I ordered a Coconut Pineapple Muffin and a oversized cinnamon bun oozing with cinnamon & icing. I was told the bakery items are freshly made. That is true the cinnamon bun was outrageously yummy. Soft contemporary jazz was playing and the owners made me feel right at home.
