Perry's is a restaurant, which is on site at the Hotel Griffon in the Embarcadero on San Francisco Bay. I am going to give this place five stars even though I never ate here. Actually, I was planning to do so, but never could make it. The staff was very friendly and courteous as I walked through the restaurant taking pictures. There were lots of smiles and invitations to dine. Got a very strong, healthy and positive vibe while walking through the restaurant. I also wanted to take pictures of the menu so that those who were planning to eat here can have a heads up before visiting the restaurant. Service was excellent. We came on an uncharacteristically slow Saturday but everyone was super friendly and attentive. Appetizer of potato skins and cheese and bacon was delicious. Dangerous. Fried chicken was lackluster but good enough. Not something I'd order again. Halibut in ginger glaze was very good. Brownie - too sweet. Overall this uneven but not unpleasant food experience. On game days the place is loud and very crowded And service tends to suffer. Nice views on a nice day if you're outside. read more

I really love their outdoor setting and the comfort food at a reasonable price - burger - juicy and tasty 5 stars - beet salad. Such a large serving and so good with the cheese croquette on top. 5.5 stars - Reuben 4 stars. My 10 year old loves it - calamari. Just okay. 3 stars - grilled artichoke just okay 3 stars Since I have been here like five times with big groups. I give it 4 stars for the outdoor setting and view and some of the favorite foods that I always order. And it's pretty reasonably priced. read more

Dined at Perry's because I was in the area with some friends and it was close by. The best part of the meal was the service. The staff was extremely friendly and made me feel welcome right away. The food was very, very average though. I had the Perry burger with fries and it was just nothing special at all. Good, but not great and the fries were pretty plain. read more

Started off with appetizers I ordered buffalo wings, grilled artichokes and potato wedges. The wings were slippery and over sauced, had no crunch and were not very hot when they came out. The artichokes came out with burn black tips, flavor was not great. The potato wedges were tasy but incredibly oily. Moving on to the entree I ordered a New York steak medium rare with mash and broccolini. The steak arrived to my table with good color but upon cutting into it i could not find a spot of pink let alone the medium rare i ordered. Also had a big strip of gristle , not fat i know the difference. The broccolini was seasoned well but the long stalks were uncooked and stringy. Mashed potatoes were great, very fluffy buttery. Ordered the apple pie with vanilla ice cream for dessert. Ice cream was good and the pie was nice and hot and tasty although it seemed bit heavy on the cinnamon. Overall I left full of disappointment. They seemed to fail at some basic restaurant food quality standards. Would not recommend spending your hard earned money on an overpriced below mediocre restaurant. read more

Had a holiday dinner in the City with a couple of friends and our original reservation (not at Perry's) fell through and so we wandered over to Perry's hoping for the best. They were so friendly and accommodating. We had a drink at the bar and they managed to get us a great table outside looking out at the Bay Bridge before we even finished one drink. They even. allowed us to have a bottle of wine we brought without a corkage fee. We all enjoyed our meals which included Buffalo Wings, Crispy Onion Strings, Filet Mignon, and Lamb Shank. I would definitely give them a strong recommendation! I will be back again to try more of their dishes. read more

The food was delish here. They must've been psychic because they knew we would all share. They brought out extra plates for each of us and our burger was cut in half. It was a nice day and convenient to be by the pier too because views were gorgeous and walking off our scrumptious food was amazing. read more

Visiting from out of town and was looking for a place everybody could enjoy and this was it! My wife, who never orders red meat, had a filet mignon snd loved it! She added the creamed spinach and corn bread (with dried jalapeño) and raved about both. My spicy buffalo wings were fantastic and the loaded potato skins were super good with plenty of bacon and chives. Beer and wine were plentiful and my kids had 2 orders of pasta each. Only downsides were the prices were a bit steep and the 6% California "make-up" tax is insane when added on top of sales tax. Portions for kids meals could be greater, if your kid is a big eater you may want to go with an entree. Atmosphere is super cozy, especially for the winter with great views of the water read more

Nice spot for brunch with plenty of outdoor seating during the weekend. I got the Rueben sandwich which came with a pickle and side of fries. The sandwich was stuffed with lots of corned beef and was very good. We also got the scrambled eggs that came with a side of fruit and then also ordered a side of fries, which was huge! read more

Seems strange to me that I have never written a review here before...but here goes. First and foremost Alex the waiter was perfection. He sensed when we needed another cocktail, got the specificity of our orders exactly correct and was just the perfect combination of efficient and chill that you want in a server... To eat, we split: --cobb salad - SOOO So unexpectedly good, I did convert it to a "chopped" salad upon arrival and it was a hit with my friends. --chicken wings (sauce on side) - Crispy, hot and delicious --Burger to split, cooked exactly as ordered and just a solid burger, plenty to split - fries were an upscale slightly thicker McDonalds type, and were also excellent YUM - I am actually craving that salad, which (if you know me) is BIZARRE! read more

We love Perry's, and have been going there for years. I visited again with a girlfriend last night, and was pleased to see that service was as good as I remembered. They are consistently busy - for good reason! - but that doesn't take away from the quality of service. I ordered a lemon drop (ok, three), and my girlfriend had their vodka gimlets. We were both happy with our drinks. My lemon drop was well balanced - I can't stand it when some places make it too sweet. We also had a poke tuna appetizer which was tasty and very fresh. The servers were amazing - attentive and kind. Drinks and food came out promptly, even with the place bustling with the happy hour crowd. I highly recommend Perry's if you're looking for a good spot near the Embarcadero for drinks & eats. read more

All around fantastic dining experience. Came here for a business lunch with my Maritime colleagues. Food was great, service was super fast and friendly, and the ambiance was perfect for lunch and conversation. Parking can be a bit of a challenge, but I did find curbside parking. Lots of rules for parking in this neighborhood. Read the signs or you will get a ticket. read more

Ok, so a couple of months ago I had a slightly underwhelming experience at Perrys which lead me to leave a slightly negative review. The manager reached out to me in an extremely professional manner to apologise and ask if I'd give Perrys another chance. The fact they cared so much to write to me showed great customer service, so much so I took my review down and decided I would go back to Perrys. I went back into Perrys today and had an AMAZING meal. My friend joined me who had never been to Perrys before and we both had a bowl of the most amazing French onion soup and we shared a burger and a bowl of the spaghetti and meatballs. It was truly a fantastic meal and the service has so much improved from my first visit! Thank you to the manager Margie for reaching out and asking me to give Perrys a second chance. Based on today I will definitely be coming back and now have a very respectable opinion of Perrys and consider it a restaurant I would recommend to both tourists and locals and I think Perrys burgers may be some of the best in the area! read more

Perry's is a nice restaurant with a great view of the Embarcadero as well as Bay bridge! I am a vegetarian and thought I won't have much options to eat here as a lot of their dishes are meat or sea food based. While talking to waiter, he mentioned that they can make a lot of dishes without meat! After my first experience, I been to this place with large and smaller groups. Often visited for Lunch with colleagues too. I really enjoyed this spot. Following is my and my partner's order of last visit : Eats: ==== Beet, Arugula & Spinach Salad Penne Pasta Vegetarian burger Salad was very delicious and fresh. Love the penne pasta sauce and garlic bread comes with it. Yummy! BUT Burger was Okayish! The portions were generous! Not too pricey as per the SF standards. And they have Kids menu too. Service : ======= The service is good. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. The waiter gave us good suggestions for vegetarian food that we can order. Our dishes that he suggested was so delicious! Other than burger! Ambiance : ========= In side seating is dark but inviting. Outside seating is beautiful with the view of the bay bridge. This is one of the few places, where we got a table at last minute. Overall, It was nice experience. Docking one star because of Burger. It can be better. This review is just for the Cucumber Gimlet. Have yet to try the food here, but it's on the list! On a rare, hot summer day in the city, one could totally go for a glass of iced water to cool down. Perhaps a white claw...(cool kids, amarite?!) HOWEVER, if you find yourself along the Embarcadero and want to chill at some shaded outdoor seating while taking in the bay views, and you're in NEED of a cocktail, this is a good option! (brb, chuckling a bit, because when do you ever truly NEED a cocktail...) It's just a cucumber vodka with some lime in a fancy cup, right? Wrong! Well, right. Yes, it is and sometimes that's all you need to end a work day. It's light, it's crisp, it's perfect. Beware, the Cucumber Gimlet is also very easy to drink. Very. You gotta love this location. It's right along the Embarcadero with prime views of the Bay Bridge and the waterfront. They aren't doing happy hour during the pandemic, so feel free to finish up your 9-5, re-read that last email just one more time, then head on over! read more

Came here for a business dinner on a Friday night. Easy walk from BART. Front door right on the Embarcadero. Made reservations. Outdoor dining looked great if it weren't so breezy. Service was excellent. Our dinner was just fine. I went with the Reuben and it was very good, Nice, unpretentious dining spot in the Financial District just south of Market. read more

This is one of our favorite places in San Francisco for happy hour. I dont think they have a happy hour menu like they did prior to Covid. The important thing is potato skins are on the menu! Which is a rare find. They've built out the back area which is perfect to enjoy an amazing bay view. Felt great to be back! read more

Ah, Perry's. You never disappoint. I'm always here with my family getting burgers, fish, and/or pasta. Great, great ambiance, especially for dinner when the lighting is right and the Bay Bridge lights are on, with people passing by on the Embarcadero. Spot on. The food is pretty good too, even the healthier vegan options that you guys were so kind to accommodate. The breadsticks for starters are a great appetizer, and they break cleanly, if you want to split one with someone else. I really don't have anything bad to say about this place. Caught the Giants game and the Niner's game at the bar. Ordered the French onion soup, baby back ribs and Turkey club. I really enjoyed the soup and the club sandwich (huge portions!) Bar staff were absolutely wonderful; very friendly and attentive. Soup came out quick but food did lag for quite some time. Came in for a couple of drinks. Walked in and it was busy, but we were greeted and seated immediately. The lighting is nice and warm, and the temperature was comfortable, which was really nice because on this night, it was really chilly out. My husband and I really enjoy Perry's. We live down the street so we love coming here with our baby as it's easy and convenient, plus the food is great. The other day our friends came from Sacramento to have lunch with us at Perry's and unfortunately they didn't have a table for us even though we had a reservation. We ended up finding somewhere else to eat, but were disappointed in the experience. The next day we received a call from Claudia who was very apologetic and went above and beyond to make the situation right. Her call was so unexpected, but so appreciated! They had a nice crisp on the outside and were soft on the inside. I also got a regular coffee, and they do unlimited refills. The place was busy for brunch, and I liked the bear theme. Some of the coffees came in bear-shaped glasses, and some of the lattes had a decorative bear made out of ice.

Once in the city we simply walk throughout Pier 39, Fisherman's Wharf and into North Beach. The Buena Vista is an iconic spot dating back to the mid 1800's. It's great to pop in, have an Irish coffee, and enjoy the vibe. We got seated immediately at the bar. Service was great and everyone was enjoying futbol. San Francisco looks amazing!
