Really good food for a restaurant in a hotel (just a tad overpriced, but that's expected) My husband and I dined here for breakfast. Because we were so hungry we ordered both sweets and savory. One order of bacon is enough to share for 2 people if you are going to get your own meal. Aside from that we ordered the mixed berry pancakes and french toast. Pro tip: Make a reservation especially if you're trying to use your daily breakfast credit. The restaurant was quite small and we came on the later end just as it was getting busy. It was about an hour wait which is a little long especially if you're already hungry. After getting sat, we were serviced immediately and staff was A+++++. Will definitely be coming back to try for lunch or dinner the next time we stay at the four seasons! How can you not when you have a beautiful view of the city right outside? read more

Stopped in at MKT for some cocktails with friends on the early evening of Thursday, October 17, 2024, at around 5 PM. This was my first time at the urban-chic place which left a great first impression on me. Residing in San Francisco's downtown Four Seasons, we pulled into the hotel's garage for valet parking. We were the first to arrive and occupy a table at the swanky barroom with hardwood floors, wood paneled walls and granite top bar. We picked a nice spot at a half booth table next to a window with a city view. The cozy table adjacent to the fireplace also caught my eye as a luxurious place to lounge with drinks and bites. The entire floor, including the elegant restrooms, was polished and pristine during our visit. Ray ordered his usual Old Fashioned and I went with one of MKT's cocktails, the LAVENDER SOUR ($24). My purple drink topped with foam and edible poppies tasted as beautifully exquisite as it looked. Foo-foo drink with low alcohol content it was not; two or three of those down and I was enjoying a nice buzz. We were served complimentary small bowls of popcorn and nuts which were nice to munch on while we sipped on our alcoholic beverages. Manny was our excellent server. He was attentive and informative. We enjoyed our conversations with him as he waited on us. A delightful time we had at MKT's bar. The opulent ambiance, fancy cocktail menu and high-end service piqued my interest to dine at their restaurant one day. read more

Had a late lunch here so it was bar menu only. We had the $72 hot dog tower which is three sausages (hot dog, boudin blanc, merguez) with fries. The fries were cold and the hot dogs lukewarm and flavorless. We had guac before which was good. The service was fine. They need a better bar menu and better food. The customer service has been fantastic here. Pretty much everyone here, from the woman who checks you in, to the servers, have been great and I have not been disappointed. We came for breakfast twice, and did not have to wait for a table. I really enjoyed the overnight chia pudding. The presentation was eye-catching and the taste was impeccable. I liked it so much that I ordered it again the next day. I liked the crab omelette they let us order ad-hoc as well. The smoothies tasted healthy, not that sweet, and it was a good way to start the morning. The portions were a great-size, we definitely got stuffed without having any leftovers. MKT in Four Seasons has so many wonderful holiday decorations, including a large christmas tree in the lobby and a festive bar. Though the service can be slower during holiday season, our staff had such great attitude when they served us dishes. The pasta and duck were phenomenal and I highly recommend getting the Pappardelle Pasta. Definitely one of the best pastas i've had. I would skip out on the Salmon Crudo but the Octopus was extremely flavorful. The sea bass was also really well made. Definitely a great place for a special celebration. read more

The Bauble bar at four seasons def has been receiving a lot of hype. You walk into the hotel and it's def very festive. The staff are all welcoming. Bauble itself is tucked away in the corner of the bar. A bit hard to find at first. Definitely a burst of the holidays in the tiny corner. Well dressed patrons..as it should be! But the hospitality of staff and quality of food, their attentiveness to detail in serving made up for the 15 minute delay and exceeded my every expectation. MKT embodies the luxury brand of Four Seasons and offers a wide range of brunch options. The Lady had their Dungeness crab Benedict, I had their breakfast burger, and we got buttermilk pancakes on the side. The Dungeness crab had a fresh seafood taste that was not overpowering with the eggs cooked to Benedict perfection, and the breakfast burger had a bacon marmalade which kept it on the breakfast side of the menu and extremely flavorful. The vibe of the restaurant is exclusive with the lobby, having more dim lighting, exploding into gorgeous large windows, letting in tons of natural light when you are seated. A special place I will most certainly return to in the future. Shout out to Yuri who visited with me and the Lady multiple times throughout our dining experience and made us feel exclusive and welcome. The way he treats his staff is equally admirable. read more

View of SF was pretty and we got a deal on a half bottle of Ridge 2015 Montebello when my first choice (the cheaper choice) was sold out. The space is pretty small, and there was a DJ playing music - a bit too loud if you're trying to have a conversation. Our second time here, and becoming a go-to option for us. As expected for the Four Seasons, service is stellar - strikes that balance between professional and personable, sensitive to timing and allowing the table to "breathe" whilst still being attentive. We have yet to select any food or drink option that was not stellar. Shout out to their version of the classic Negroni, this one spritzed with a hint of Lagavulin for a unique smokiness upon the nose. Being able to enjoy quiet and elevated views of downtown always helps the aesthetic, as peering street level and getting the up-close-and-personal into gritty urban streets isn't always conducive to the appetite - but going bird's eye allows you to enjoy the city lights, sunset, and another perspective on the city's beauty. Not to be underestimated when lingering over dinner with your beloved. All of the menu selections were excellent, and not really surprising or unexpected. One might suggest a little risk and daring by the executive chef would be appreciated. And I also understand the vision for the menu may be to keep things soundly in the neighborhood of tried and true rather than edgy and modern. Hung out in the bar area before dinner and that was nice also. kinda got an odd waft of the dish kitchen from somewhere. if u have worked at a restaurant before u know the smell I'm talking about. My favorite lowkey was the ice cream. It is $6 and it had me thinking maybe I should come back sometime just for a scoop of ice cream. Second fave was the grilled octopus that was smackin fr. super great texture im picky about octopus hate when it's so chewy. I ordered the short rib and they brought me the pork belly and K was fully prepared to shut my mouth and eat it but we did end up getting my plate of short rib lol. Haven't been back to MKT since covid. Visited yesterday and walked they the lobby with much festivities - lights, smell of fresh trees and holiday music. Took elevator up to where the bar is and enjoy a couple drinks with a friend. Prices were a tad pricey same as before but service was great and ambiance was nice and pours were generous! Stopped for a drink at the bar on a Tuesday... Food - had the warm citrus olives. They were good overall. The dried oregano (?) topping sprinkled on top could have been omitted. And I would have liked more green Spanish olives. Service - all good on that front Ambiance - was frankly a bit too old classical and needs to be modernized At the bar the snacks du jour were popcorn and some sort of fried corn. Would have been nice to not have corn two ways, fried and popped. Though hats off to the chef as I counted 4 in total if they are sticking with the "Four" Seasons theme--caramel popcorn, spicy popcorn, plain popcorn, and, finally, fried corn kernels. Giving 4 out of 5 stars given the high pricing counterbalanced by the overall great service and perceived play on four seasons of corn. read more

The bacon was neither crispy nor soft- it was plastic-like. Gross. He said the French toast was too soggy, but that might just be a preference thing. I ordered the two egg dish and asked for cheese on the side. The bill came afterwards and the side of cheddar cheese was 9 DOLLARS. I generally dislike when people complain about prices at a clearly fancy/expensive restaurant because I understand it was a choice to dine here, but $9 for some shredded cheese seems beyond excessive. My meal was good, same issue as above with my bacon. The service was fine- nothing special, nothing terrible. One person who stood out as extra friendly was the hostess. $120 for a very basic breakfast for two. 3 stars feels generous to be honest. read more

Pare whatever you're having with one of their signature cocktails or mocktails, it's beautiful and well prepared. The lounge at MKT Restaurant and Bar has delicate holiday decorations, and a warm fireplace, which is super cozy to stay at. We ordered the House Mulled Wine $22 and the "Not Your Grandmas Tea" $24 from the Warm Holiday Cocktails menu. Really love both of them and especially the "Not Your Grandmas Tea". Made with Gin and house infused apple cider, with almond spiced cookie on the side and served in a teapot and teacup. Fog City $26 Also highly recommend the Fog City from the regular cocktail menu. I think the service was by far the only reason i might return because the food was just not exceptional at all. Burrata salad was beautiful and yummy. No salt but i could have added it and i appreciated the heirloom tomatoes and the balsamic bubbles. It was pleasing to look at and to taste. The entree selections for vegetarians was quite boring; - butternut squash risotto.. so common and sweet not my fav so i passed - pasta "minus lamb".. so basically pasta in ref tomato sauce for like $40.. pass thank you - mushroom gnocci "minus bacon": basic taste, no salt, not much flavor, but a very generous portion i couldnt finish so at least it fills you up Desert: overpriced. pretty but not really yummy. The tiramisu looked great, i liked the good leaf, the "body" tasted good but not excellent and the mousse was soooooooo sweet we could not have it. Dessert was something like $16 which i think is way over the top. Ordered a non alcoholic tea drink that was $14 and came in a Champagne flute.. overpriced and did t even taste good. The waiter accidentally said it came in a box and they added a dried pear in it. Anyway kind of ridiculous. I would never return despite the fact that service was great and i loved the smell of fire burning. Restaurant atmosphere was quiet and nice and bathrooms were clean. Appreciated that. read more

Many ppl don't know about this place because it's hidden in the Four Seasons Hotel. I've been to this restaurant on multiple occasions for breakfast, bar bites and dinner. Never had a bad meal here. The chicken wings on the Bar Bites menu were so flavorful. The burger was delicious - not greasy. Definitely a burger you can feel good about eating. We actually arrived shortly before they started taking dinner orders at 3pm. Wait staff is always nice. Definitely a good place to grab a drink after work if you're in the FiDi area. Not super crowded on the weekends. Always clean and great seating to watch a game in the Bar area. read more

Sorry but I wouldn't recommend this restaurant. The service is subpar, considering that it is in the four seasons hotel. Very long wait for food that is just ok. We ordered the dungeness crab benedict, crispy chicken and waffles sandwich, and cinnamon-orange french toast. The server at first got the benedict order wrong and gave us without crab. The other two dishes were good but not to the point I would crave or go back for. We also tried the mango sunrise smoothie, which wasn't worth it for the taste or size. We tried the strawberry panna cotta which was also just ok. Too many flavors clashed I couldn't taste the panna cotta, and it was hard to eat out of the wine glass. The vanilla cheesecake we got to go, was also so below my expectations. It was small and I prefer cheesecake factory's plain cheesecake more. On top of everything, we were sat in a spot right next to the kitchen which was loud and bad flow. Was hard to enjoy the experience and quite disappointing for the Four Seasons Restaurant. read more

Other two folks near me got the duck and they thought it was very good but much preferred the dark meat part. The wine options were very limited but excellent, high end options by the glass and bottle. The atmosphere is high-end, it's in the Four Seasons hotel. We absolutely love San Francisco and my husband had lunch meeting at MKT on Friday. Saturday night we went there for dinner to celebrate our anniversary. Host was very nice and welcoming seated us immediately. Our waitress was Kelly and she was very friendly and very patient. She made great recommendations and suggestions for wine and entree's. My husband had the scallops and I had the chicken and we shared the market salad. Great intimate restaurant dimmed lights, elegant but casual, we didn't feel rushed at all. We were there for a little over 2 hours and felt very relaxed and comfortable. Great food and service.
