I am a cilantro fan, so I liked the little touch of adding cilantro stems instead of cutting it into small pieces. If you don't like cilantro you don't have to worry about accidentally eating it. From the moment we walked into Pho Hello, we felt welcomed. This truly family-run restaurant greeted us immediately and had us seated right away, which set the tone for an amazing experience. We started with a spread of appetizers--spring rolls, egg rolls, shrimp rolls, and pot stickers--and everything arrived quickly and piping hot. The sauces took it to the next level: peanut sauce, sweet & sour sauce, and fish sauce, all made completely from scratch. The owner even took the time to explain that each sauce and dish is a family recipe, which made the meal feel even more special. For the main course, we ordered the brisket/rare steak pho and added a beef rib--and wow. Every single bite was incredible. The broth was rich and comforting, the meat was tender, and the beef rib was absolutely worth it. The portions were very generous--enough for all six of my family members to share, which says a lot. We also ordered Thai tea, which was perfectly balanced and not overly sweet (a huge plus for someone like me who doesn't do well with too much sugar). If you're a pho lover--or even if you're just looking for an authentic, welcoming place with amazing food--I highly recommend Pho Hello. We'll definitely be coming back again in the future. I think they are trying and its good to see a Pho place close to my house. The few times I have been there the service varied. The 1st time we got a energetic young guy who was happy to be a server. A couple times now I have got an older lady who is harder to read, she also disappears in back for long periods and that can be annoying when you need a water refill or have a question. Last time I was there I waited a long time for my bill and then she stood at the counter for me to come pay? It felt odd because I know she saw my wallet out and I was waiting, I gathered my things to go to her counter and pay. For me stuff like that will lower the tip. Waiting a long time for a simple water refill is frustrating too. (all comes off the tip) Over all the food is fair, the metal chairs and metal spoons are a bit odd for me too. I like soup on cold days and you can expect a very cold metal chair to sit in, then the metal spoon gets VERY hot if you leave it in the hot soup so I have something extra to worry about when I eat. Poor service and fair food and those little metal quirks are enough for me to drive a little further. Id like to hit them up for a Cafe Sua Da but the one time I went in for just a coffee seemed to annoy them so its not really a coffee option either. read more

Standard sauces on the tables. Very clean. Everything we ate was fresh and delightful. Got the sampler for the apps and they were so good. I got the brisket pho and it was some of the best broth I've ever tasted. Little slow when it gets busy as it's a smaller operation but it's well worth it. Pretty decent Pho place and it was cool how they give you the beef bone for the pho dac biet. Menu had english translation so made it easier for non-vietnamese readers. I often love the bone from pho especially when I get it at home and have the bone marrow and all that but the one given at this restaurant may need more time in the pot because it just did not have enough of the pho flavor and was also slightly pinkish. Went around 8ish on a Saturday night and about half an hour later it became packed. Probably because it is one of the only places that closes later than 9pm, at least from what I was checking on yelp. Anyhow, they have more than just pho so that's great. Easy parking.
