Richard at Philly's Best CheeseSteaks gives phenomenal customer service!!! Thanks Richard!!! Today's order Hot Honey Chicken Cheesesteak!!!! Trust me the picture does not equate to the tastiness of the sandwich!!! This is a bad sandwich- I mean BAD as in GOOD!! I mean really Good!!! Chopped chicken, lettuce, pickles, mayo, hot honey sandwiched inside of a submarine style loaf!!! All good... no complaints-- i think there is some melted cheese in there too!!! My compliments to the chef- thank you for taking the time to construct this flavorful masterpiece.. Additional seasoned pickles and jalapeños are provided at no cost!!!!

Didn't know they were located here! Decided to come here before they close! We had the Phillys best with extra grilled onions and also the pepperoni cheese steak! Both were mouth watering good. Cooked just right! Amazing customer service all the food is cooked as you order! I will be back soon

So I came to a tuna sub..... it was here or next door. I'm glad I came here. It was good.... Tuna was perfect maybe just maybe a tad bit more mayo but other than that. I'll be back when I'm In The area The service was quick and pleasant. She took our order with happiness and spoke to my inlaw in Spanish to make sure it was the way she wanted it. Thank you for the awesome service

Chicken Parmesan sandwich but Philly cheesesteak style.

Not sure what I wanted when I crossed through the door but I knew I was hungry. After looking at the menu I chose the chicken parmesan sandwich. I noticed that the gentleman put something in the fryer, after a few moments I asked him if that was for my sandwich he said yes it was the chicken. I told him I misunderstood the menu, I thought sandwich would be Philly chicken cheesesteak style not a deep fried chicken Parm. He was so kind, he said we'll make it anyway you want, so the young lady with pretty braids grilled the chicken, added marinara and provolone just as I thought it would be. I's the best damn sandwich I've had. Meat juicy with the marinara and melted cheese. Thank you both for such an enjoyable lunch sandwich.

My go to is the Philly's Best sandwich. However, their Meatball sandwich is even better.

It was hubby's idea to check out Philly's Best. I'm not a Philly cheese steak fan, so I wasn't excited about it. There was no greeting when we entered, and there were these handmade written signs throughout the place. "Uber pick up," "Do not throw away trays," etc.. they just took away from the professionalism of the restaurant. Hubby went ahead and ordered his Philly, and I went with a burger and fries since I'm not a fan of Philly. It was actually not bad. Good tasting burger and fries. Hubby seemed to have enjoyed his sandwich as well. What really grossed me out though was the soda fountain. While getting a soda, I noticed how gross and disgusting it was. Not only just the drain but even the top of the fountain. It immediately was a turnoff, and I decided not to even get a soda. They need to do a better job at cleaning. Three people were working that day, two girls and a guy who looked like he was either the manager or owner. One could've walked around to clean the fountain and even the tables. Cleanliness is crucial for me, and for that, we will not be coming back. It makes me question their cleanliness practices for the restaurant as a whole.

Since we were craving Philly cheesesteaks, we were excited to find out they also have a Redondo Beach location. I ordered the regular 6" Philly cheesesteak and customized it with grilled onions, sweet peppers, lettuce, tomatoes, and pickles. My husband decided to go for the large 12" Hawaiian Philly, which comes with teriyaki sauce, cheese, and pineapple, and he added mushrooms for an extra $0.75. I requested both sandwiches toasted, and they were still delicious even after the 10-minute drive home. The employee who took our order was especially kind and friendly. I really appreciated that he brought the food outside to me while I was waiting instead of making me come back in when it was ready. Waiters kept checking on us. Got the mild Buffalo Wings for $14 and Parmesan Fries for $6. The wings were good. The Parmesan Fries were really good, they didn't skimped on the Parmesan. Both dishes were small and came with ranch sauce. Got place to watch the games with friends. Not the place to have a conversation. The interior is neat and clean. There are various types of seating (bar; table; booth; high-tops; communal), and plenty of screens to watch sports. On this occasion, I ordered the Tavern Fish & Chips ($22). It is described as "Alaskan cod coated in a tempura beer batter and served with French fries, tartar sauce and yuzu herb coleslaw". The positives of this dish are that it was prepared well. Both the fish and chips tasted good. The presentation was also nice; which leads to the coleslaw: The coleslaw tasted good, too; but I was surprised the serving was so spare. It's almost as if it was served just to optically balance the presentation in the basket. (See photo shared,) And while the price was not unreasonable, feel it's creeping towards expensive (relative to serving size). I'll attribute this to rising input costs. Staffing might be an issue during the lunchtime service. Service was okay, but they seemed to be understaffed. It's possible that most of their business is done after 5pm.

(In the voice of George Takei) Oh my! This place is awesome!…read more You walk in to get some coffee and a breakfast burrito and, at first, think maybe you went in the wrong place. It's a super clean looking liquor store at first glance - genuinely nice place! But then you smell and see the magic happening to your left. I especially like their breakfast burritos and have had good experiences here before. Unfortunately, this visit didn't quite go as planned. I ordered the ham and sausage burrito, which costs extra as a two-meat option, but when I got home it only had ham and no sausage. The burrito itself still tasted good, so this felt more like an order mistake than a quality issue. One thing to note is they charge a fee for credit card purchases, so cash might save you a little if you come often. Overall, still a solid local spot for a quick bite, especially breakfast, and I'll probably still come back.

The Reuben with corned beef and the Reuben with pastrami. Both plates come with your choice of a salad and pickles. I recommend the potato salad; it's my culinary guilty pleasure. Truthfully, I don't get that much a smoky taste from the pastrami, but it's still delicious. That corned beef is so wonderful, it's so tender and falls apart so easily upon a bite. Their soda menu is a very lowkey, unsung hero. I've tried soda brands you don't typically see in grocery stores. Their ginger ale hits the spot without fail each time. I think one drawback is that this place doesn't allow adjustments. I've personally never asked for any, but I can see how other customers might find that off-putting. I typically do a pick-up order vs. dining in, but when I do enjoy the sandwich in the restaurant - the service is super quick and cordial. The interior of the place itself isn't exactly upscale, but it's also more polished than a standard diner. TONS of seating inside and a few tables outside if you want to enjoy your food with some fresh air. Only in the last decade or so, I started hearing about the great sandwiches at Tucker's yet I only went in for Lotto tickets thinking that if I won sometime, it'd make for a good story. "Back to his roots, David K. wins Powerball..." Well, I am in charge of a lotto group of 14 families and we WON in December 13th's drawing! 4 numbers, not including the Powerball. A whopping $447 and they put it on the wall and everything! And we decided as a group to roll that into last night's drawing in addition to our usual buy in...and we won $56 dabnabit! But I was feeling pretty good about winning the 4 numbers so I decided to order up some sammies for the family. The boy and I decided to go splitsies and share the Turkey Avocado on Squaw Bread and the Pastrami Hoagie. The wife ordered the BLT. The staff are nice, friendly and efficient. It didn't take long at all to whip up 3 yummy sandwiches. The wife enjoyed her BLT and I had my half of the Turkey Avocado yesterday and it was great. The squaw bread was particularly fantastic. I had my half of the Pastrami today and heated it up in the toaster oven. I really enjoyed it and would definitely get sandwiches here again. It looks like all the meats are high quality Boar's Head products. And I enjoyed the bread the Pastrami was on as well. Prices are inline with other sandwich places. The market itself is jam packed with all sorts of snacks/drinks and goodies. They even sell ping pong balls and dice. I look forward to trying more on the menu next time!
