Philz is a wonderful cafe to work and study alongside a stimulating drink. The special flavors they offer never fails to bring me great delight. The people here are hard workers - I'm grateful for their work. I really appreciate this Philz cafe for the little library and board games that are readily available for any visitors. There's plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. Outlets are also readily accessible. Restrooms are also clean and present. God bless you all.

A little Philz caffeine Got a small ecstatic iced coffee. Nice, punchy, delicious, and refreshing. No adjustments and full sweetness! The yellow walls and brown accented wooden tables compliment the cute bakery & mini library they have for you to borrow & read while you sip. Service was fast, very pleased :)

They finally have a rewards program!!!! Nice cozy location on the corner of Bristol & Sunflower. Lots of seating and lots of people studying or hanging out. Iced mint mojito or iced mocha tesora. So good. Adjust sugar level on their drinks cuz some are on the sweeter side. Only downside is they have quite a few unsavory characters passing through here & there.

Ambiance: it's a spacious coffee shop located in the commercial building cross the street from south coast plaza shopping center Service: very friendly and patient with requests Drink: standard Philz coffee menu Blueberry Breeze - *** Unity cold brew, blueberry-infused oat milk and brown sugar, strong blueberry taste but overly sweet GINGERSNAP - **** creamy coffee with cinnamon, nutmeg, and clove spices, smooth and creamy taste, recommend Price: decent quality and reasonable prices, expect $6~$7 per drink

Their popular mint mojito and ginger snap is delicious! It's creamy flavorful, balanced with a solid coffee brew. This location has plenty of board games and books to read if you plan to stay around. Feel free to study or work too, there's a lot of ppl with their laptops. I end up playing a game of battleship while sipping on some coffee.

My very first encounter discovering Philz Coffee was when I was visiting my besties in SF and boyyy did they have me hooked at my first sip. I'm a bit of a self-proclaimed coffee addict, so when I heard all the hype and reviews about this coffee shoppe, I HAD to give it a try. My ultimate fav, go-to drink is the deelish iced mint mojito. OMFG..it's sooo good. The fresh mint and coffee combo just hits you like no other. It's perfectly sweet and creamy, no adjustments are ever needed. It's smooth like a criminal. On days when I need a breakfast on-the-go, I grab a butter croissant, ham & cheese croissant or a banana bread also. All satisfying options, in my opinion. You can never go wrong with their warmed up pastries. Fresh and yums! I was particularly super excited when this Philz Coffee opened up in SoCal ~ in the South Coast Plaza Village, because it meant that I didn't have to wait to visit SF to get another taste. Now I could indulge in a cup when I go shopping at SCP! The best of both worlds. This store is located on the busy Bristol & Sunflower corner, in Costa Mesa. Parking can be a lil cray during peak lunch hours, so heads up. The store is spacious, open and inviting. There are plenty of tables to chill or study ~ inside and/or on the patio. The prices are comparable to Starbucks and other usual coffee joints..so I don't mind paying for quality brew. Philz Coffee is 100% a RxFoodie recommend!!! Come and get hooked like me..it's a game changer, trust!

Tried for the first and was very impressed with how delicious their coffee tastes here. Not to mention their enormous display of pastries. For my first time I decided on trying their iced oatmeal cookie coffee and it was perfect. I asked for their lowest possible sweetness and it was just right. Also tried their egg bites and they are so much better than the ones from Starbucks. The only downside was that it was a bit of a longer wait time to get my drinks-but it was a busy Friday morning around 7:45 am. Parking can be tight and the wait for your order can also be a bit longer. Next time I will order ahead on their app. Also they do not offer any type of rewards at the moment. There are seating areas inside and outside which is nice. I definitely plan to return and try their rose coffee! Yum!

Philz offers specialty coffee and a hearty breakfast sandwich. The staff were friendly and service was fast. Ambiance is cozy and bright with ample indoor and outdoor seatings. Highly recommended!

Absolutely adored Philz holiday menu!! Their pastries were delicious, including a peppermint brownie cookie and a blueberry bear claw. The iced coffee flavors of Winter Bliss & Tiramisu were amazing and satisfied the nostalgic craving of Philz coffee. My personal favorite was the Winter Bliss. Would choose this over any other coffee chain!!!

This was my first time visiting Philz. I tried the Winter Bliss, which is a solid seasonal drink that's definitely worth trying. It has cozy, wintery flavors without being too sweet, and the coffee flavor still really comes through. The interior is spacious and clean, and I had no trouble finding a seat to sit and enjoy my coffee. Staff were cordial but were busy making drinks.

    Pistachio Croissant
    Tina L.

Iced Nutty Caramel Nirvana ($5.95) was great. Loved the cinnamon cream top and the strong nuttiness. It really compliments the caramel. Pistachio Croissant ($4.75) was good with a nice icing drizzle top and pistachio bits. There isn't a hefty amount of filling inside but there is a thin middle cross section with pistachio filling. Love the flakiness. This is a great cafe with plenty of outlets and seating though for work/study. It can get crowded and parking structure is for 2 hours with validation .

    Mocha Tesora with Oat Milk
    Peter N.

Philz reminds me of an ultra laid-back coffee shop that happens to be a chain. During my visit, it seemed they were having some sort of technical issue with their iPad registers, so there was a slight delay in taking our orders. It might also have been due to the steady flow of mobile orders, which kept the baristas constantly on their feet, preparing the next coffee. The coffee shop has a surprising amount of seating, both in open areas and tucked away in small nooks. However, every seat was taken that Wednesday afternoon. Philz is clearly a popular spot, even for families, since they offer a great assortment of books and board games for customers to use. I got the Mocha Tesora with oat milk. I would say it's a great introductory coffee for people who are just getting used to the taste of coffee, because it honestly tasted like caffeinated hot chocolate, just iced. I liked it!

    Yes!

I shared with the barista that it was my first time here, and he asked what type of drink I was looking for. I told him something iced and caffeinated - and he mentioned his favorite was the Honey Cinnamon Latte - which I opted for - iced, with oat milk. Total was $8.50 including tip. My iced Honey Cinnamon Latte was yummy, creamy, and fantastic! With the oat milk substitute, it sorta tasted like Cinnamon Toast Crunch in liquid coffee form.
