My favorite location. I've tried multiple Philz and this one is the best. The parking has been hectic and times but always worth it.

My latest find is Philz Hot Chocolate with Oat Milk. If you are lactose sensitive then this is for you!!! The default Hot Chocolate is made with heavy cream and it's a silky comfort as my Husband puts it. Philz beats Starbucks in this department hands down. The bacon cheese egg bites are not very flavorful and this is where Starbucks is superior with theirs. The blueberry muffin, we have definitely had better was on the dry side and lacked moistness. Service was excellent and people here are so friendly from the moment you walk in. This is what helped me give this Philz location 5 stars!!!

Got a plug for a silkin soul with cinnamon in the filter if people have dank taste buds and would like a great way to start the day or a jolt to continue it. Light creamy and sweet of course. This blend was nice and the cinnamon was not too powerful.

Horrible Chai Tea Latte. I thought coffee places make good chai tea lattes?! The person taking the order was confused to what it was. We were like it's like a dirty chai tea latte without the coffee. Or the Philz fresh chai with milk and sugar. And guess what? They still made it wrong. We paid for oat milk addition and we just got a chai tea, no latte portion, no sugar and they added a couple mint leaves. It was gross, tastes strong bitter and mint leaves. Waste of money. And the brighter side, their coffee is really good. Stick with their coffees!!

This location always brings back good memories. I used to go to school at De Anza College years ago and I'd always stop by Philz weekly for a pick-me-up before school. Today, I was in the area and decided to stop by for a drink. Everything still looks the same as I remember. I ordered a hot philtered soul (the house way). Loved the hazelnut brew. Creamy and sweet. A good cup for my soul, for sure :) There was no line, so I was able to order pretty quick. However, when I got there, I saw a bunch of cups ready to go already. So, if you're in a rush, do mobile pick up! Tons of parking, so no need to stress about that. If you're looking for an iced drink, you can never go wrong with the ecstatic or the mint mojito. Thanks for the pick-me-up today! :)

After lunch in the area, I stopped at this Philz Coffee shop to not only escape the exceptional heat outside, but also to tackle some work. Perfect spot. I highly suggest their famous Iced Mint Mojito but also to request for the House Made way. It's worth it! It's amazingly refreshing! I regularly drink my coffee straight black with no cream, sugar, or flavoring. There are only a few exceptions like today when I will order this specialty drink. Definitely a treat especially on a HOT summer day!

Friendly staff and always a taste you can count on. Mint mojito is the way to go for a good summer day.

The Morning Thai Cioppino had a bold, authentic tom yum flavor with just the right balance of spice and tanginess. The Pimped Up Ramyun was a pleasant surprise. It definitely gave me instant ramen vibes, but in the best way possible. It was comforting, flavorful, and clearly made with much better ingredients than your average cup of ramen. Love how you could sweeten to your liking, and the contrast to the almost salty cream cheese inside was a nice touch. Definitely recommend!

Final Thoughts: 4.20/5.0…read more Contrary to many other opinions, I personally really like brunch. It really is more for the vibes and spending time with my friends and family versus the food sometimes. For some reason, this place has always been on my list of to-go brunch places, but I've just never had the chance to go here. After our matcha run, my friend and I decided to go here for brunch. It was around a 45 minute wait today. On their Yelp, appears to be quite the quaint place to to get food and relax. Will definitely be a 4 star for me. Food: Jumbo Crab Bene with seasonal fruit: 4.0/5 This is their fresh lump crab with sliced avocado, whole grain mustard and poached eggs stacked on lightly toasted English muffins, topped with scratch made Hollandaise sauce and garnished with locally sourced microgreens. This is served with either house potatoes or seasonal fruits. The lump crab is actually fresh crab I believe. There are some pieces of the shell that were still in there. I'm honestly not even mad because that's a pretty big indicator that it's the fresh crab meat picked out. The egg is nicely poached with a runny yolk. Hollandaise sauce is quite nice and light. The Dijon mustard was quite strong for me and did overwhelm some of the other flavors on the plate. It does add a nice flavor, but occasionally, it was too much. For the English muffin, it was quite thick, so it felt kind of dry. It's noted to be slightly toasted, but its somewhat hard to tell with the mustard, crab meat, and poached egg on top, which are mainly wet items. Avocado is perfectly ripe. I'm not an avocado person, but this one did it just right for me. The fruits came with blackberries, blueberries, strawberries, apples, cantaloupe, and honeydew. Very refreshing and needed after the savory foods. Philly Steak Sandwich with garlic fries: 4.0/5 This sandwich has grilled steak with peppers, onions, and mushrooms topped with provolone cheese on a toasted baguette with mayo and a light teriyaki drizzle. Will come with either a side of house salad or garlic fries. I really liked how they caramelized the onions and peppers inside of this. There's that additional sweetness from it that works well with the steak and cheese. Very tender meat. The bread also seemed kind of big and just almost dry too. Not too big of a concern given the amount of filling that they give. My friend choose the garlic fries and those were amazing. The cut is just right and the crisp on the outside is just so good. You can taste the garlic, but I could do with even more garlic to it. --------- Quality: Fresh Something I really like is that they use real crab in their jumbo crab bene. You can actually feel the tiny pieces of the shell in it, which usually means its fresh. The food did take a second to come out, but both were piping hot. My friends onions and veggies were quite caramelized, which is nice. Brings out a lot of the flavor component in the sandwich. The fries were actually so good too. I wanted the side of garli fries, but it was convenient that his came with it. Super crispy, nice size, flavor is good. May need a little more fresh garlic, but overall, really good. Price: Reasonable Prices seem reasonable for what they give. Initially, it does lean more on the expensive side, but their portion sizes are larger than your average brunch place. Prices will range from between $18 to $24, with a few outliers. Service: Very sweet workers Very nice service here. Everyone was sweet, greeted us, and checked on us. Our food did take a little longer than some others around us. For us, it was around a 25-30 minute wait after ordering our food. Even the table next to us that were seated after got their food first. The food did come out fresh, so I'm not really complaining. They did let us know and give us little updates about our wait and food though. Ambiance: Classic Brunch Spot The space is nice and looks slightly cramped inside. It was just my friend and I and they gave us a seat right in the corner next to the window. Honestly, probably the best spot for me and the person who seated us also noted that it was his favorite spot in the house. I didn't see much beyond from what was seen by the door. The space looks fairly small, but fit a decent amount of tables with walking space in between still. Always love the open kitchen. It's fun to watch what happens behind the scenes. Location/Parking: Large space It's located right on Saratoga Avenue. There is a Lucky grocery store here, so there is a lot of parking around. We really didn't have any concerns finding a space at all.

The pancakes tasted fine,it said it came with bananas and blueberries. I could see the blueberries, but not the bananas. Thought I could taste banana. The floor had dirt on it and a dead bug. I was concerned about bed bugs and chose to limit my contact with the bed, other than to sleep. The sheets appeared clean, but little things were missed: dust, dirt, fingerprints, watermarks. For the cost of the room and the reviews, I expected much more. I did not use the pool, nor the hot tub. No gym on premises. The continental breakfast was tasty, but no one was checking to see if anything needed refilling. By the time I came down for breakfast, there was only about 1/2 scoop of scrambled eggs. At least 5 guests arrived after me and did not have any eggs. It also wasn't obvious where the front of the restaurant was. There's an entrance from the parking area and then there's a entrance from the main street. There's really no podium or anything to approach. The bathrooms are very out-of-the-way, but also a little difficult to get to. There were a lot of life-size human posters that made it a little difficult to get to the bathrooms themselves. The outdoor patio area looked absolutely amazing and spacious. I definitely would recommend if you need space for a big group to meet up to come here. Ordered: Corn hash eggs, Benedict This came with two eggs, Benedict hashbrowns on an English muffin with corn beef. The corn beef was very disappointing. The eggs were delicious. The hollandaise sauce was amazing. It was just that beef that was really low quality and low Vibin. I would definitely order something else next time. Unfortunately, the quality of the corn has beef and the odd floor plan made me give it three out of five stars. I think there are other country inns that I would rather go to.
