Just saw this place after visiting davis from 5-10 years later. Mint mohito hit well. Large space and like 3-4 baristas working so orders came quickly. Friendly staff

Always aaaamazing service. Hot cocoa medium and a creamy and mid sweet medium tesora. Christmas Eve check in and they said in 2026 their hours are changing a little and closing a bit earlier.

Love this place! Love the mint mojito. I always get it sweet and creamy. No matter what it always hits every time. The diverse seating is fun. Always a great place to study or chit chat!

This is one of the biggest Philz I've ever been in. I've been in four different locations, and this one could be my favorite. Although I was visiting from out of town, I would definitely make this a regular stop for my caffeine addiction. If you have the app, I would suggest ordering ahead then just go in and have a seat and wait till your order is called. They have a small amount of cups for sale, I was hoping they would have some shirts. They did have one dad hat, but it wasn't my style. There was lots of tables and people working on their laptops and enjoying a cup of Joe.

I love the consistency in the quality of drinks that philz always puts out. The staff are friendly and this looks like a great place to study. although it is a little busy, it is not stuffy which makes the place feel comfortable . They have a great selection of pastries. I got the tiramisu coffee, cold and I really enjoyed it! It was a nice bitterness that balances out the sweetness. Would come here again and try their mint mojito !

Went to Philz coffee for the first time. Standard coffee chain. I liked the variety of roasts they had including light dark and medium. Some fun drinks too. The menu wasn't too overwhelming, not super big. My friend wanted a vanilla latte but they didn't have that-something to note. Employees are friendly. Kind of expensive. 12oz black coffee was 5$.

Pick up area. They for a nice bench to wait.

Bomb.com!! First timers at Philz. Will definitely be coming back. I got the Nutty Carmel Nirvana 10/10 amazing so flavorful. Hubs got the Mocha Tesora 10/10 as well. Also for the bacon & egg burrito so yummy. Standard size. And I got the Turkey Sausage Sandwich. Yummy! Great pickup on our way to hike. Fast service. Nice clean and open area to sit and work.

Just had Philz Coffee and honestly it was amazing. The flavor is super rich and smooth, and the staff is really friendly and chill. If you haven't tried Philz yet, I definitely recommend it solid coffee and great vibes.

Great location, tons of space to meet up with friends, and has an amazing music selection.

The baked goodies look good but I only got coffee. Ordered the favorite Iced Mint Mojito. Perfect way to wake up and cool down with this yummy iced coffee. Place wasn't as busy around 7:30 am. Ambiance was nice and calm this time around.

Small black coffee

Philz Coffee Philz in Davis has some of the friendliest and most welcoming staff I've encountered, truly immaculate service. They take the time to ask how you like your coffee and get it just right. The atmosphere is always inviting and relaxed, making it a great place to sit and unwind. The only downside is the pricing because it's a bit steep, especially for more straightforward coffee drinks (black coffee/pourover). That said, the quality and customization make it a great stop if you're looking for something a little more special than your standard brew. 4/5

I won't go into the reasons why, but I wound up forgetting to order my coffee decaffeinated. I wound up ordering a Mexican mocha with almond milk and light whip. I also ordered a veggie scone. Both the barista and the person working the counter were friendly and nice. I LOVED the Mexican mocha. It wasn't too sweet (which I was worried about), didn't need sugar, but was delicious. It had a nice mix of the robust coffee flavor and the richness of the Mexican chocolate. The scone was good. I liked the mix of veggies and cheese. I think it would have been better if it were heated. This cafe is somewhat small. While there is a good amount of seating, it gets pretty packed in here. I'd say my biggest con of this cafe if you're drinking your coffee there are the seats and the lack of electrical outlets to charge your computer. The bar stools are pretty uncomfortable. I really could only sit the stool for about an hour. Since the stools didn't have a backrest, I started getting sore. I'd definitely get coffee here again.

So ofc when I was in town, I had to try it. This "Molly Tea" is not the same as the Bay Area's (no store listed in Davis on the official Molly Tea website) and is also known as "jasmine tea house" on Google Maps which confused me. Walking in there was a very unpleasant smell, almost like bleach/chlorine mixed with jasmine tea fragrance. (Not great!) We sat outside. However the drinks were not bad. Not as "presentable" as the authentic Molly Tea (no fancy straw or seal), but the osmanthus oolong milk tea was on par taste wise. Overall, it's a good "knock off molly tea" and satisfied our boba craving. It's good enough for Davis but def lacks the polish of real Molly Tea's.
