Came here on a Sunday afternoon and it felt like such a nostalgic moment. They're currently offering a promotion where each entree comes with a free drink! I got the pho with just the noodles and soup and a soy milk. The pho came out literally so quick! I also loved that they have the vinegar onions here, which paired great with the pho. I kinda wish I had remembered to ask for the wide noodles, but even with the standard noodles, it was still very good! The staff here are super friendly, and are bilingual, so you can talk to them either in English or Viet. It wasn't too crowded when we went, but the restaurant is pretty large and can fit a ton of people! Their menu is pretty extensive here, with literally all of the common Viet dishes you can think of like com tham, bun, mi, pho, etc. Parking is decent, but can be hard if the plaza is busy. Since we came during nonpeak hours, parking was a breeze!

I always get the pho tai (rare steak). Last time I tried the premium meat and it was so good! Love that there's options. First time the broth was a bit salty but all others have not been. Every time I've come here there's been a free beverage. I get the thai tea.

I loved: Thai Iced Tea Vietnamese Coffee Pho Ðặc Biệt This was good: Pho Tại + My was my favorite Pho restaurant growing up and it still hits 20 years later $13 dollars for a bowl is insane value in this economy. The drinks are better than I remember, the Thai Iced Tea is the perfect level of sweetness and I really like how concentrated the Việt coffee is (way more than normal). Service is great but I'm also Vietnamese so maybe there's so inherent give because I speak the language. Not only did this place survive the pandemic, I don't think anything's actually changed about the place physically. Same booths and tables I will say that the restroom does smell but is otherwise pretty clean.

I LOVE this place. Servers are very attentive and kind. Food is such good quality and a very chill spot. They offer free Thai teas sometimes.

A fast and friendly place to have some delicious Pho . They have a huge selection of different things to eat in here and they serve it up fast and hot . The people here are very nice, the hours go long into the night . The prices are very reasonable and I will continue to come in here for that and many other reasons, plates are big, food is tasty.

I've been trying to find a good pho spot for a while n i think this one is it. The broth is super rich. The server is a cute old guy and he always attends super good. If you don't know what to get I recommend the #16 it's simple and delicious. Super cheap too $12 for a small that has big portions and an extra .50 for a medium.

Been coming here since I was a young teen & it never misses!! Egg rolls are a MUST & of course their pho is the best I've ever had. Price is very reasonable for portion sizes and they are on top of service. My favorite pho spot in all of OC

This place is great for late night pho! They close late which is a plus. Ordered the seafood pho and it hit the spot. My bf got the large pho and broth was really good too. Love that the Thai tea has actual tea flavor and it's not all milk.

Ordered Meat and rice and Vermicelli with meat. All were tasty. The ambiance is ok but the restroom can use some work. They don't ask you if you are good. You would have to flag them down to get something you want. It's order and never get checked on. On the positive note, you get 1 x free drink with your meal. Coke, tea or Thai ice tea of your liking. Food was delicous! Meals were affordable! The Negative, They will not check up on you but still obligated to tip. Restrooms are filthyp. Staff is friendly! Over all I recommend!

The chicken was crispy and the dipping sauce gave it that extra yummy goodness. The dish also came with a side of broth that had chicken bits in it, was nice to help digest your dish. I also loved that they gave you pickled veggies & fresh veggies. We also ordered the Loi's Fusion Saltado, upgraded the rice to garlic egg fried rice. The beef was soft and tender, the fries were nice and crispy and the fried rice was fresh. You 100% need to get the Thai Tea. A lot of place add too much cream/half and half diluting the tea flavor, they do not skimp on the actual tea in their drink. The color speaks for itself on the dark orange hue!

I'm a bit late getting around to writing this, and unfortunately, they are already closed, but I still felt like I had to share my experience. I'm not completely surprised that they closed, especially after trying their bò né. I've had this dish many times at different places around Orange County, and unfortunately, this was probably the weakest version I've come across. The first thing that stood out was the presentation. As you can see in the picture, there was this purple-colored sauce on the meat itself, which honestly did not look very appetizing. To make things worse, the sauce was cold and did not heat in time with the skillet, which really took away from the experience. The flavor itself wasn't terrible, but it also wasn't anything memorable. It was just okay, and when you factor in the cold food and the presentation, it made the whole dish disappointing. With so many places around Orange County serving bò né at a much higher level, I would probably recommend spending your money elsewhere. If you were wondering whether you missed out on some hidden gem, don't worry, you didn't. This one felt more like a piece of coal than a diamond. That being said, every restaurant has its journey, and with more time, maybe they could have found their footing. Hopefully, they can take this experience as a lesson, refine their recipes, and bring something better in their next venture. I am rooting for you Loi!

The pork patties were my favorite, and although there were plenty of the grilled pork, many of them were pieces with a lot of fat. That was my only gripe about it. Now about the hu tieu, which came with all the delicious bbq pork, shrimp, shredded chicken, fried garlic and onions, lightly dressed in an oh so delicious sauce. For me, the sauce was actually the star. Mix everything together and get yourself one delicious bite, filled with so much flavor. Be prepared: this place is incredibly popular, especially during peak hours. Parking can definitely be challenging because of how busy it is. The last time I visited on a Monday, the lot was completely full, and I ended up parking on the street. The restaurant is also primarily cash only, so come prepared. They open early, making it a perfect breakfast spot for an early bowl of pho. The pho broth is exactly what I want when I'm craving comfort food--clean, flavorful, and incredibly soothing. However, the star of the meal for me was the chả giò. Wow. Although they arrived after our pho, they came out at the perfect temperature. I was hesitant to take a bite right away because freshly fried food usually burns my mouth, but these were just right. Crispy, airy, savory, and absolutely delicious. Paired with their fish sauce, it was perfection. I enjoyed the egg rolls so much that next time I'm definitely ordering the egg roll vermicelli bowl. Service was friendly and prompt despite how busy it was, and it's clear the staff works hard to keep things moving. One thing I love is seeing all of the awards and accolades displayed on the walls. Phở 79 received the prestigious James Beard America's Classics Award, and it's easy to understand why after one meal here. This restaurant is truly an Orange County icon. The restaurant will soon be moving to a new location, as signs throughout the restaurant announce the upcoming move. The beef was unbelievably tender, practically melting in my mouth, and the noodles had the perfect bite. This is the kind of meal that reminds you why pho is one of the best comfort foods out there.
