Decided to try this restaurant after an eye appt was surprised the food was very good. Had the Garlic Noodle with Short Ribs they gave a very good portion of meat that tasted great. My sister had the Pork Chops with rice and meat was not overcooked the portions were excellent. Would definitely come back to try the Pho when it isn't too hot out. read more

I have no idea what these people mean when they're saying this place ain't good, but this place is my favorite Vietnamese restaurant. I have dined a lot at Pho 90 and I'm always thoroughly impressed by the quality of the food. The dishes were prepared with authentic ingredients and the flavors were incredibly rich and satisfying. Most of the staff are really nice, a couple are a little impatient, but they were busy, so I can't blame them. The food was made fast and it was delicious. Very good atmosphere and tons of parking since it's located at Great Mall. The springs rolls and sauce were good. However, the noodles in the pho were very uncooked and the soup was not hot enough to separate the noodles. The pho were good. The noodle were on point. The soup base has a lot of flavor. Fair portion for my regular bowl. Their bean sports and veggies were a lot. The place is huge but it was pretty empty. Besides that I don't really have anything bad to say only a few tips. The waitress never came back and ask us if we need anything else and see if everything is ok like a regular waiter/waitress ask about the customer needs. I need more lime for my soup but i didn't get any of it. They were tons of workers and all they did was chatting the whole time. Besides all of that the food were great. We came here for a late night dinner with the kids after playing over at D&B. We had so much fun and didn't realized it was passed 10:30pm by the time we left without dinner. We did a Yelp search, and saw that Pho 90 was opened til midnight and right at the mall, WINNER. When we got there, there was maybe three other tables occupying the whole huge, restaurant. There were literally more people who worked there than people dining there. Most of the workers and staff were just hanging out. But we were sat down quickly and tea and water was served. We ordered the food. My wife was super happy that they had crispy fried noodles, so it was decided. This was the turning point of the service. They came out a couple of mins later one of the workers comes out to let us know that their fryer is not working, so no crispy noodles. It was fine until he just stood there and wait for me to order something else. I told him repeatedly that my wife is in the restroom and I would let her make the decision. He said ok, nodded his head and remained standing there waiting. After 3 rounds of this, he got the hint and left. Only to be replaced with our original server, pointing out what was exactly the same price. I again, let her know, please let my wife come back and she can decide. After another 3 rounds, she left and came back later. We decided to go with the garlic noodles with chicken as a replacement. On their menu, you can pick chicken or shrimp (same price). I opted for chicken, as my wife does not like shrimp. Guess what came out, Garlic noodles with shrimp. At that point, we were tired, it was getting late, it took a long time to get the garlic noodles, she just ate the noodles and gave my son the shrimps. By the time it was time to go, the whole check that printed was in Vietnamese. I could only assumed it was correct, most likely it would be. But if they were to gave me someone else's check, I wouldn't be able to tell. Overall, food was excellent. The Oxtail Pho was excellent, the seared beef pho was excellent, their chicken pho was good, and the garlic noodles was excellent (even with the mistakes). The place is conveniently located in the mall but that's a second disappointing experience. First time a couple months back, the bowl and utensils smelled very strongly of dishsoap or bleach. At least I knew it was clean, but it was overpowering the smell of food and the pho broth. I usually have number 16 (Kobe). Today I ordered number 17 (wagyu) and it was a ball of weird looking meat all clumped together and impossible to chew floating in the bowl. I should have taken a picture... when I mentioned it and asked to replace it, the waitress brought a plate of side beef (similar to 16). The broth wasn't hot enough anymore to cook it properly and the meat was not great either. We ended up being charged for everything although I asked to send 17 back. With so many pho options in the area, I doubt I will be back. read more

For the service, I never understand what makes them to charged us 18% of gratuity since everyone works there like hell, no kidding, from the front reception to the busboys to all waitress and waiters, they all have attitude to us and seem no one wants work! They ignored our order of drinks, we had go to the front cashier to made our orders, they even ignored our thank you when they passed out our food! The service could have been better and our waitress could not answer are questions about the food due to language barrier. She never checked on us we practically had to beg for more water. Had this place twice, extremely disappointed in this location (compared to the one in San Jose) First visit: my family's orders of pho came 10 minutes after we ordered, but my plate of rice came 45-50 minutes after because 'the chef forgot to cook it'. We had notified two ladies about the long wait after 20 min of waiting for the food, and both went to check up on it but never returned with any news. Second visit: the place was full, and my main concern is that there is no place near the entrances to wait. My family walked up and stood around the booths, and a waitress came by and told us to 'go write our names on the waiting list because we will be seated by someone else'. I guess to her it seems like we were trying to seat ourselves. Afterwards, since she couldn't WALK AROUND us, the same waitress told us to 'stand to the left of the doorway'. There was clearly sufficient space for her to walk, but she was apparently very annoyed that we stood in her direct path. I also don't know how long it takes to get the check. No one has 'looked' in our direction or ignored our raised hands for the past 5 minutes. I'm sorry there isn't a place for us to wait. There was absolutely no please or excuse me but demands because we were an inconvenience to her. Waitress lady didn't give us water until after our food came because she couldn't find the ticket that shows which table the water was suppose to go to. Uhhh can't you just look around the room and see who doesn't have water yet? The pho meat is really dry and bland. The chicken is very small portions. We were very upset at how terrible the food was compared to their other location. No consistency at all between the two branches, dishes look and taste totally different. We arrived the restaurant at 10:45pm today Monday November 25th, the employees told us the restaurant was closed!!! We were starved for Pho, but no choice to step out the door!!! Pho 90 Degree is a nice restaurant. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Today we stopped in for egg rolls and Bánh mì sandwich with MilkTea and Matcha and milk. The Egg Rolls came in an order of 4, they were crunchy and delicious . The Bánh mì was perfect, the bread had a nice crust and soft at the same time (perfect match). The milk tea was creamy and had a wonderful flavor. My wife loved the Matcha and milk. It reminded here of a green tea ice cream. Overall we had a wonderful time here. read more

Love the food here. I always get Pho Ap Chao and an order of Neng Nung (sorry, I don't know how to spell it but it is basically an appetizer spring roll with pork). Both very delicious. They also have a chef's special PHO that is served with a side of raw beef (that you cook yourself in the broth). My Filipino and picky dad loves pho, so we were interested to try this place out. I read in the reviews that the other location is better, but in our case we had my 2 little ones and wanted to stay within the mall. That said, we thought this location was delicious AND convenient! My dad had a beef pho and was impressed with the meat; I had seafood combo pho (with soft shell crab) and was happy with the flavor and combination of fish balls and scallops. Our group also enjoyed the egg roll appetizer recommended by the server, (the fried, but not classic style - unfortunately I forgot the name). If you're at the mall, check it out!
