Not a pho afficienado by any stretch, but was very pleased with my recent experience here. Even though the restaurant is in a strip mall, it is definitely a well maintained location.The men's room alone was ridiculous. I thought I was in somebody's high-end condo. Not exactly a fancy restaurant, but still very nice. The service was very quick, but not exactly the friendliest. Quick to take your order and bring a check, but no real conversation beyond that. As a first-timer at this location, I ordered the house special pho. As others have noted, the broth is very flavorful and really doesn't need to be garnished by a ton of sauces. A couple of drops of soy sauce and a couple of fish sauce, along with a spoonful or two of the hot pepper, and I was good to go. While I'd like to check out a few others in the area, this is one I would definitely return to. read more

Customer service was on point, very attentive to everyone. I order the chicken fried rice and some chicken wings. The food was delicious. My partner order pho ga, and was very tasty. My coke and water glass smelled dirty. I wasn't a fan of the spring rolls. Got the rare flank and meatball, the flank came out and it was cooked already but the pho broth was delish-that's what I really came for. read more

I have never tried pho, and always wanted to do so. I stopped in this local restaurant for take out. It looked clean, plenty of patrons at 5:00 p.m. on a weekday, and very nice employees. I ordered the Meatball Pho, which my intuition told me "no"; I should always listen to my intuition! The broth was flavorful with plenty of noodles and vegetables/herbs. I got their vegetarian pho because of a recent food allergy report I can't have chicken or beef no more. I was a little nervous, but let me tell you what, their vegetarian pho is fantastic. Other than when I went to Vietnam and had the pho there this was the best dish of pho I've ever had in my life. I have tried multiple Pho places in Alexandria and haven't been pleased. I don't like sweet broth and FINALLY I found one I liked. So delicious and service is quick. Their beef Pho and summer rolls are delicious. Got an iced coffee to go as well and loved it. Can't wait to go back and try more off their menu. read more

Went here in the middle of the work week. It was very clean and the servers were very polite and attentive. Pho was good! The meatballs were good too. I'm very picky where I eat pho with meatballs at since some places have very gritty meatballs or they're too fatty. This place was pretty good. Prices are about average. We will go back! read more

Unlike others, we found the broth in the basic pho to be full-bodied and flavorful. Ample servings. The pork spring rolls were thin-skinned and crisp and the stuffing was flavorful. The shrimp rolls were mostly rice noodles and lettuce; the peanut sauce was a bit sludgy. Be sure to specify that you want you appetizers served separately BEFORE your soup. One of the appetizers arrived WITH the soup and one AFTER. Pleasant staff. All in all, happy this new place has come to the neighborhood. read more

Pho broth nice and clear although slightly sweet undertones can overpower at times. Noodles a bit underdone to my taste but that seems to be a variable at every ph spot daily. Summer roll very fresh with great peanut sauce. Keep in mind they use the "roll a piece of grass in the outer layer" method of summer roll. Meat is average amount and good. The dining room is very clean and bathroom is surprisingly clean and modern for a ph restaurant. Excited to see this place get on their feet. Bubble tea and Bahn mi would really set this place apart in this area. Will update as things get on track here. Fingers crossed. read more

My favorite is their vermicelli salad with eggroll, grilled pork and shrimp. My husband loves their Pho. I'm not too fond of their summer rolls, the shrimp (unless it needs to be washed well, not sure) has that fishy smell compared to the ones I've eaten at in Eden Center restaurants with no smell. My husband and I tried their smoothies but it's too sweet for our taste. Convenient right in my neighborhood, fast service and friendly customer service. read more

I stopped here on a cold, rainy Saturday to order some hot, salty and spicy slurpy goodness. I ordered the veggie pho with veggie summer rolls. Ok Ive been twice now and I have to say this is a good bowl of Pho. My broth had a nice silky finish and a dark brown color that had some depth. Huge bowl as well and at a good price. Wanted to try this place mainly because it is fairly a new restaurant and had good reviews. Service was not helpful and I felt they would rather not have business (they were eating at a table). I ordered the shrimp and pork spring rolls and they had more lettuce than anything in them. The Pho soup I ordered had two meats and I also added shrimp. The meat was extremely tough and the shrimp small and over cooked. The broth was very bland. Pho Viet Flare is way better so I'll be going back there for my next Pho outing. read more
