Flew into LAX from Costa Rica around 2AM and I was starving and craving for some pho of course. Found this place open at this time because they're open 24 hours! Yes, you read that correctly. Jackpot! And the pho is really good! Really clean and not salty. I've been here a few times since my initial visit and I've been happy with it most of the time. Pho Daily is a decent and simple Vietnamese restaurant. I tried the veggie and tofu pho with beef broth. Veggies included baby corn, mushrooms, carrots, and onions. There was a good amount, but I've had more at other places. The tofu was fried, which I didn't really care for because it was harder to bite through. The flavor of fried versus not fried is no different, just the texture is different. The beef broth was average I'd say. I've had more flavorful broth. Service was okay with some language barrier difficulties, but nothing we weren't able to overcome. One large pho, one small, and one jasmine tea cost $29 before tip. Overall, there are other phos I prefer and that are better value IMO. read more

It was right before lunch (~ 11:30am) and this place was bustling with customers. I can see why. - Service is quick and solid - Food is delish I tried the fried egg rolls with lettuce wraps/herbs. They graciously hooked me up w extra greens, fish sauce and do Chua. Everyone else was eating Pho, so I wanted to taste it at least, so I ordered a child sized PLAIN pho. Broth was outstanding. Greens so fresh. Bean sprouts galore! I was full so I had to take their nem nuong home. The sausage meat is really firm, delish. The rainbow slush on a previous order I ordered for my niece was anything but, it was a weird concoction of what tasted like milk, creamer and brown gelatin. On another order, I had the rice and beef plate, the vegetables smelled very odd, like they had been sitting out for a while and started to rot, so I tossed the veggies out and ate the rest, smh. This most recent order I had the vermicelli with pork eggrolls, I bit into one and thought it was a little doughy, turns out the pork was still raw inside. Looks like they didn't cook it long enough. I haven't had bún thịt nướng chả giò for a long time, so today I decided to order one at the restaurant (it's is my favorite over phở). I appreciate because there was plenty pork in the portion. However, as a Vietnamese person, I would know how is bad or good vermicelli is. Usually, the vermicelli strands are long and sticky. But the thing I had today was short and soggy. I swear to God my vermicelli today was exactly how you would cut them for babies. I mean?!? Hello?? I literally ate my Bún with a spoon, I could just scoop my food even though it was a type of noodle?!?? Ummm.. I know for the fact that restaurant would sometimes use "leftovers", but this was unacceptable. If you guys are looking for an extremely solid pho location this is the spot. They're open from 10am till 4am so if you're out and craving some pho or something good and warm this is it. It's not the best but what makes this place so good and worth it to me is their consistency and they're able to keep it going majority of the time. Food: Pho combo I think Is the go to you get a variety of meats and some tendon and tripe if you're into that. Today everything was on point even the meatball that comes in the pho (which to me is something that's not consistent). Aside from that I've never had a problem with the meat, tendon or tripe there. Broth today was clear, really aromatic and flavorful. So pho was great today Egg roles were also great the only issue with me is I wish they would give you more pickled carrots on the plate. You can always ask for more so that's not an issue. Nice crispy made daily I personally enjoy these every time I'm there. I used to really like this pho spot but my last visit a few days ago made me rethink that claim. I felt the noodles were not good quality. If u eat a lot of pho u know how noodles are suppose to be and these were just dry extra starchy not it. It just didn't leave a good taste in my mouth. Tofu Village was packed at lunch, so we decided to hit Pho Daily next door. Too bad it made my WTF Wed list, and is was mediocre AF. Its located on Western just North of 152nd in Gardena. In addition to pho, they serve com (broken rice) and bun (vermicelli noodles). To start, we shared a goi cuon ($4.75 for two pieces). This dish was pretty mediocre bc the wrapper fell apart and the sauce didn't have much flavor: 3 Stars. For my entrée, I ordered a large seafood pho ($8.95 - 2 shrimp, fish & cuttlefish). This dish had a fair amount of noodles, but not much seafood. In addition, the broth was laden with MSG, bc I was feeling the side effects later. Saigon Dish in Lawndale has more seafood for the same price, and their broth is not so heavy on the MSG: 3 Stars. Regarding the ambiance, its a good sized place with enough room so you don't feel crowded: 3 Stars. Likewise, the service was friendly, but inconsistent. For example, 3 of us received one plate of veggies, the same amount as one person. We asked for more, but it never arrived. Additionally, our pho took quite a while to arrive. A single customer arrived well after us, but he received his food right after us: 3 Stars. PD is decent if you are in the area, but it pales in comparison to Saigon Dish. Phở restaurants - please stop selling Phở Gà (Chicken pho) if all you do is put shredded white meat in with noodles and beef broth. Chicken pho broth makes it Phở Gà. Pho Daily is located in the Seoul Plaza. There are numerous shops here with a few of them being restaurants. This is a decent to large sized restaurant. The interior is nice and neat. I love the paper lanterns over the lights hanging from the ceiling. Gives you a festive feel as well as adding a nice touch to the place. There are condiments, chopsticks, napkins, and little dipping dishes on the tables. Our server was pretty prompt. He took our order and brought out our food. He even brought my husband a fork without being asked. That was a first for us! My husband wanted the Egg Noodle Soup with Cornish Hen Chicken (Sm: $6.50) and I asked for the Pho with Rare Steak (Sm: $5.75). For the price difference, it seems like that Cornish Hen was a steal! We shared the Cornish Hen and ate our own soups. I tasted my husband's soup broth and it was WAY better than my Pho broth. My broth just didn't have any oomph to it. I love Pho noodles, so I'll have to see what other soup I can get next time. My husband enjoyed his soup and will probably get that again. There looks like a lot of good dishes here. I am more of a ramen person than a pho person. I wasn't expecting a lot from this place originally because I already had my go-to pho place being Phoso 1 on the same street, but I decided to try this place out. There is plenty of parking behind the building and in front of the building, so that's what I like compared to Phoso 1. I came to Pho Daily on a Saturday evening. I really liked the cleanliness and calming environment of the restaurant. The restrooms are pretty clean as well. The workers are really nice and have really good service. I ordered the chicken pho and I was very impressed. I put the mint and squeezed a little lime and sriracha sauce in it. It probably the best pho I've ever tasted! Spring rolls were not fresh, they were crunchy not most and soft. Egg rolls weren't bad but they are egg rolls, basically just old produce wrapped up and fried and if they can still serve old veggies as fresh I can only image how old the ingredients are in the egg rolls. I went there because the Yelp reviews were good, and they were right! Parking was easy and plentiful. I was there around 6pm on a Wednesday night and it wasn't crowded. It's a nice, clean, comfortable place. Plenty of roomy seating, they have both booths and tables. They can take parties of up to 50 people, so call Frank at Pho Daily if you have a large group ready to get pho'd up! We went there for pho and we both ordered the pho combo.I had the large, $7.50. My friend had the small pho combo, $6.50. The small is still plenty big. They both have about the same amount of meat, the large has more noodles. Our food came out quickly and we liked it. Simple as that. The owner served us. He's a great guy. Hard worker and he's very proud of the business he built. He should be. It's a great place to eat and the prices are more than fair. read more

Was supposed to go to Tofu Village today for lunch but way too busy over there. Never been to this pho place next door but always have passed by it for many years. We decided to finally pay this place a visit. To my surprise, they have Ox tail pho! Had to try it. It was pretty good! Less than $15 for Ox tail pho is not bad! Totally hit the spot.
