Beef brisket pho
Grace W.

Service was fast though not really friendly. Food came out fast - the beef brisket pho was decent but the broth wasn't as flavorful as some other places and I needed to add a lot of hoisin and sriracha and the basil wasn't fresh and had some black bits. The spring rolls were decent but nothing to rave about. It was on my way somewhere and a convenient location but I certainly wouldn't go out of my way to come back.

Pho Deluxe Tysons is clean, spacious, and casual with plenty of parking and fair prices. The pho is hot and generous, spring rolls are fresh, and grilled pork with rice is a standout. Service is usually quick and friendly, though broth flavor can be on the mild side. A reliable choice for a comforting, no-frills Vietnamese meal in Tysons. If you would like to know more, Pho Deluxe Tysons delivers a dependable bowl of pho in a roomy, well-kept dining room accented with archways, brick walls, and modern pendant lights. The vibe is relaxed, shifting from lively chatter during peak times to calm and quiet mid-afternoon. Aromas of simmering broth and grilled meats set the stage as soon as you walk in. On our second visit we were greeted as though we were old friends, which might explain why we have found ourselves coming back at least six times in as many weeks. The phở (Vietnamese noodle soup) arrives steaming hot with a generous plate of basil, lime, and sprouts. It's correctly spelled phở and pronounced "fuh" in Vietnamese, not "foe" as many of us grew up saying. And since phở itself means noodle soup, there's no need to add the word "soup" after it. I was surprised that the full name is actually Pho Deluxe Vietnamese Noodle & Grill, situated at 1577 Spring Hill Rd., Vienna, VA 22182. Meat portions are hearty, noodles tender, and while the broth leans lighter in depth, it is easily brightened with hoisin or chili. Spring rolls are tightly wrapped and fresh, served with a balanced peanut sauce, while the grilled pork chop and shrimp rice plate shines with smoky char and sweet-savory seasoning. Portions are ample, plating is straightforward, and freshness is consistent across dishes. Service is generally efficient and friendly, with food arriving promptly. Pricing is reasonable given the portion sizes, and wait times are short outside of weekend evenings. The bottom line is that Pho Deluxe Tysons won't wow you with flash, but it will leave you satisfied with hearty portions, a relaxed setting, and steady service.

Since then weather shifted back to being a bit chilly Pho was just what I needed for dinner. I happened to be in the Tyson's area and this restaurant was the closest so I decided to give it a try. It's worth sharing that you can totally drive by and miss it as it's tucked away in a parking lot that's attached to an office building across from an older Quality Inn with no other eateries or retailers around. I was immediately greeted and seated upon entering and the host was super friendly and attentive and also took my order. The summer rolls were out in no time and while really fresh and tasty, you could tell that the peanut sauce was sitting uncovered refrigerated in the little serving cup as it had a little film formed over it ... yet it wasn't anything that a quick stir with the chopstick couldn't fix (& the taste was good). As many other reviews mentioned, the pho broth lacked flavor, yet the noodles were the perfect consistency and the meat was tender. They also served lemon with it as opposed to lime which was a first for me ... definitely a slightly different flavor but still added the acidity needed.

Rib Eye pho broth and toppings

Pho is quickly becoming my comfort food when traveling after a long day of shopping and driving. We were in the area and wanted something warm and easy to eat and found Pho Deluxe in DoorDash. I ordered the shrimp summer rolls and rib eye pho, husband ordered beef fried rice. Arrived in about 20 minutes. The broth was luke warm but a quick zap in the microwave fixed that. The toppings were packed separately with plenty of noodles and fix ins. Summer rolls were tightly wrapped and had plenty of lettuce and shrimp. Husband commented his fried rice was some of the best he's had in a while. All in all a solid place to get take out from.

I took a few friends from out of town for lunch here on a Sunday. The waitress was very rude and terrible. We sat down less than two minutes she came by and ask if we were ready to order. We told her give us a little more time. Her facial expression and mumbling comments in Vietnamese was rude. Mumbling " why we taking to long to order." This is supposed to be a dine in service not a fast food service in and out. My friend ask her if he can get two small bowl to us for dipping sauce and some hot oil as she brought the bowl and the hot oil. Her attitude was ignorant when my friend ask for another bowl because she only being one instead of two that was ask for. Terrible Terrible Terrible service I would give a zero. This is how much I finish my pho and it's a regular bowl. Think about your day before coming in. This gonna ruin your whole day.

Fresh delicious food! We are regulars here because it's always consistent, fresh food and a clean place! It's not like some pho restaurant that smells heavily with different spices! Our service is always satisfying, and pleasant

Veggie Summer Roll in Peanut Sauce

Great spot for vegetarian pho and delicious summer rolls! I ordered delivery via Door Dash and within a 1/2 hour, the food arrived pipping hot in a pho DIY style with the toppings, veggies, noodles and broth all separated out. While the clumpy vermicelli noodles congealed and stuck together, once I added them, the noodles were delightfully swimming in the warm savory pho broth - ready for some slurping! The mixed veggies of broccoli, corn, cabbage, and tofu were a bit scant and was hoping for a large heap of veggies. I wouldn't even mind paying a small upcharge for more veggies if there was an online option. The Veggie Summer rolls stuffed with leafy lettuce, carrots, tofu, and vermicelli with a tasty peanut sauce was scrumptious. Vegetarian pho is tough to find. If I'm craving Pho, Pho Deluxe has got me covered!

Pho Deluxe is my go to spot for pho with my mom and sister. We usually start off with the summer rolls, which comes with 2 for $5.50. The rolls are packed with vermicelli noodles, veggies, and shrimp, and paired with a yummy peanut sauce. For the main, we always get the #38, the pho tau chin, in a large ($12.95, regular is $11.95). The portions are quite hearty, packed with noodles and meat. They also provide bean sprouts, basil, and jalapeños on tbe side. Two bowls are enough for the three of us to share (my sister is 10 tho haha). Overall, I recommend the spot for reasonably priced and yummy pho!

Fast, friendly service. Great food! Stopped in for lunch and enjoyed a quick bite to eat with an excellent price point.

For those that want a hot meal close to the Spring Hill metro station (within 2 blocks) that is prompt and delicious, look no further than the Pho Deluxe. Directly across the street from Honda and within a building that features such venues as the Hair Cuttery and Pot Belly, Pho Deluxe is an Vietnamese restaurant with really good customer service, and plenty of seating. Pricing is quite reasonable here. Considering that you are dining in an expensive region of Northern Virginia, you would think that pricing for Vietnamese food would be on the side of abnormal, right? Nope! Pretty close to the pricing that you would find in any major city, to include the San Francisco Bay area (highest in the US). The soup bowls have portion sizes at pricing which are excellent, and other dishes such as the chicken fried rice with beef and shrimp are served in much larger portions than expected (I usually can't finish these plates). Really good Pho here. Will certainly return.

Overall, it was fine, but nothing to write home about. My friend enjoyed her rice combination dish with grilled pork and shredded pork skin. They promptly provide both the lunch special menu and the full traditional menu, which I appreciated. I chose the grilled pork bánh mì lunch special, which comes with your choice of a spring roll (fresh rice paper or crispy) and a soda. I went with the crispy spring roll and a soda. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and well-prepared. The portions were perfect for lunch not too heavy, but very satisfying. The service was impeccable: friendly, attentive staff and quick turnaround time. The restaurant was also clean and well-maintained, which always matters. Overall, this was a great lunch experience. Quick service, good portions, fresh food, and excellent customer service. I would absolutely recommend stopping in and taking advantage of their lunch specials if you're in the mood for Vietnamese food.
