Maybe it's me or maybe it's the company I have gone with. First time I went with my best bud, I should have gotten the Pho, but went with their seafood friend rice, it was just bland and overall mid. The service ladies were older, pleasant and accommodating. Then, a second time I went back to Fresh2U was just plain irritating, maybe it was me but the young lady I ordered my pho from didn't get it right or even repeat my order when I specifically asked for my pho with the meatballs, it's an item on your menu. Then, when I got it, they forgot to add the meantballs. So, they corrected it by giving me the "microwaved" meatballs, I get an extra charge as a side, what kinda business is this?? Furthermore, okay so you charge for hot tea. Next time, mention if you have green tea instead of your oolong tea, because it's not what was wanted or otherwise we're okay with your tap water. Ordered takeout. The food was good. Husband said the noodles expanded too much. I ordered two different ones and expected the king pho to be extravagant but it looked very similar to the regular one... so save your money and pay for the cheaper one. They do open at 11 as most restaurants in the area do. Service was quick. My item was ready when I arrived though Yelp/Grubhub did not update the status. So this place just opened back up a month ago after renovations! It's not bad. I went here with my brother and it was cold outside so of course we got noodle soup. We got the crispy egg rolls (they were ok, but I would have liked them hotter). My brother got the roasted chicken soup which looked AMAZING. And I got the regular pho. They had a spicy beef rib and oxtail pho that I have to try next time. It was very clean inside, there's a bar! And the service was really good! This is our 'go to' place. All the items we've had are packed with flavor. The restaurant is kept clean and most of all the servers are personable. There are 2 Pho restaurants that we used to go to, however, the last time we were at the other Pho place the server looked as if she was in pain to be serving us. But the broth was not hot enough. It couldn't even cook the beansprouts. Their special pho is similar to a pho dac biet but with 3 wontons and 2 shrimp. I could do without those items to be honest. The pho broth was decent but I wouldn't ordered it again since the pho broth was only warm. The brisket bap tacos were better than the pho imo. Pricey but decent. I would ordered these again. But when I got to the cashier she was on the phone taking an order that took almost 5 mins. I'm standing there forever bc the customer changed their mind like 4 times on the food items. The service in Rancho is a lot better. I was feeding my baby so maybe they were trying to give us privacy, but we had to go to the counter to order our entree, dessert, for water and to pay. We were the only costumers on the SUPER rainy afternoon. They had quite a few togo orders, but thought our waitress could have been a little more attentive. Love their food it's delicious. And you feel great after eating here, not sluggish and ready for a nap like some places. The 'calamari' usually has jalapeño but they forgot to add it, they quickly brought it on the side for us. Love that we have a pho restaurant walking distance and the service there is great. I've met the owners and they take a lot of pride in the work they do. They're constantly giving back to the customers. I would leave a recommendation that the broth for the pho is inconsistent. Sometimes it's oily, sometimes it's flavorful, sometimes a bit bland. We love coming back because we believe in supporting small business and it's walking distance to us. The chili oil in my opinion is missing more garlic crisp and could use a little more kick. It has a very strong oily taste to my palate. What separates this location vs others is the atmosphere. The service is great and they're always attentive to their customers. I'd recommend trying them out and try out multiple dishes We've had the: Pho Beef stew Bun thit nuong (My wife REALLY liked the pork in the bun thit nuong there but the nuoc mam was lacking.) What a joke. I tried coming in with my son to dine in and the moment we walked in no one wants to greet us until I walked up to a server and she told us we can sit anywhere. When we sat down she only gave us menus to look over and almost about 20-30 minutes passed by we still never got waters or anyone to come take our orders.. it didn't seem as busy and there were only 2 servers but they somehow they wanted to ignore us. I stood up waiting in line to the register to try to order our food and had to wait behind others while they were waiting to pay. This shouldn't have to be this way. I am pregnant and my son and I were starving hoping to try this place the moment they opened but from experiencing the lack of service we couldn't wait any longer so we got up and left. Excited to have another pho place in the neighborhood so have been patiently waiting for this restaurant to open. Caught it on their opening and ordered pho and tofu appetizer. The tofu appetizer was delicious- firm tofu fried and seasoned and was decently spicy. The pho on the other hand was unexpectedly and disappointingly underwhelming. While the portion was generous the broth was bland and was sad to have to add all the siriacha and hoicin sauce to give flavor. New Pho place in Elk Grove first and foremost the way they built it is beautiful the design of the restaurant is very welcoming and artistic. Customer service was great got greeted right away. Menu is easy to read lots of food options it was hard to choose. They actually made some recommendations and we went with it pork belly was soooo good we did a spicy pho with beef rib so good. Tried the kung pao noodles and did not disappoint. All in all it was great love the place customer service was great and food left me wanting more.
