I still think the pho here is so good for the price!! But they need to hire wayyyy more people. I've called in an order about three times already and all three times they have made me wait over 30-50 minutes for my order even though I had called it in. They are more focused on serving the sit in people than getting the to go orders ready. My last visit they had 4 people ahead of me waiting 1 hr including myself and a door dasher driver. This has been our go-to take out spot during these dine in, stay at home days (although they do have safe outdoor seating as well.) We love their shrimp spring rolls and delicious made from scratch peanut dipping sauce. Prices are more than what you'd find in westminster but afterall, they probably don't have the volume of customers and the rent may be higher. Growing up as a Vietnamese-American kid and eating a lot of pho, of all the pho places in Orange, I can tell you that their pho definitely tasted home made. I don't know. That's all I can say about this place. I just don't know. I came here on a late Wednesday afternoon with my s/o. I'd see the new pho place, I was dying to try this place. It had amazing reviews and I couldn't wait to try it. Upon entering the place, I noticed the beautiful wooden ceilings and saw the place was pretty empty. We were greeted and sat immediately and the waitress was very friendly. I opted to get the free check-in Thai iced tea. I couldn't believe how good it was and that they were just handing them out! I ordered the meatball & tendon pho while my better half had the rare filet minion steak pho. We also ordered the cha gio (2 pieces. They give you the option of 2 or 4) Upon receiving the cha gio I was disappointed. The outside was not hot nor was it warm. It was rather lukewarm. I felt as if they had pre-made them and that was given to us. Secondly, the pho? I think mine lacked flavor. I typically do not add any sauces to my pho except for the limes, jalapeños, bean sprouts and some pepper. This broth, I had to add salt, more limes than usual and all the siracha, sambal, & the hoisin sauce. I was so thoroughly disappointed. The one amazing part? The amount of meatball & tendon I had was amazing! My s/o enjoyed his pho. His one chief complaint? There was not that much meat. He counted 5 pieces. Had we known, we would've ordered an extra side of it. Overall price of the food? About $25 plus tip. Not bad but not great. I haven't written out this place yet! Disappointed with my order here.... I normally go to two other Pho restaurants but they were not available on Uber. I gave this place a shot since Uber and Yelp show good ratings but unfortunately the pho was nothing special and definitely not a 4+ star worthy. The biggest issue is the amount of MSG in the broth. I go to a few spots that don't use MSG and actually cook the broth for a very long time. So when there is heavy handed MSG usage it ends up getting me super dehydrated and uncomfortable. Also, the portions here are also disappointing. The large here is more like a small or regular at most places. This could be due to the take out order, but the sliced beef/tendon/brisket portions were really minimal. They must literally count every piece here (apparently 2 thin slices of brisket and tendon cubes, and 8 super small beef slices). I think I've also become a beef quality snob. I know I didn't order filet mignon or ribeye, but the quality of beef was definitely below average with no flavor at all. read more

Best pho!! Everything always tastes incredible. I have gotten take out from here several times a month for almost a year and I've never been disappointed, not once. The owners are very friendly and kind, and the way they cook, with such love and care, it feels like I'm family. And if not for COVID-19, I'd hug the lady who runs the front!! I can here on a whim after my massage and boy am I glad I did! I got a filet mignon beef pho and you can tell they put a lot of love and effort into the broth. It's so full of robust flavor.
