    #20. Well-Done Brisket Pho
    Brigette G.

Really good Pho! Cute location in the end of a strip mall you walk in and it reminds you of being inside of w house. They have a cute chandelier too. Service is very quick and the prices are very reasonable. I got the well-done brisket. Great portion. My daughter's got the chicken pho and brisket pho as well. Great place with great flavor definitely will be back!

A Vietnamese restaurant that's truly a mom and pop shop. It has the vibe as if you are eating at a family house, as your "aunty" serves you food. Had the vermicelli and tastes the pho, and both were authentic and delicious. It seems to be a family owned business where they are the ones running everything, so service can be slow, but worth the wait.

What a disappointing dinner for family of 4! I paid $76.50 for this awful food to go. I chose this place because of the high rating! Ordered: #47 Rice with diced Garlic Steak The beef was overcooked and hard to chew. Some of the meats were burned too. #17 Combo Pho - Pho dac biet Soup was ok, but not that great. #16 Vermicelli with Lemongrass Beef - Bun Bo. The flavor was good, but it was very dry and not juicy. #33 Rice with Grilled Chicken - It was lacking flavor. It was kind of bland and some pieces were dry. #3 - Spring Rolls - 4 Chicken rolls with peanut sauce. Same chicken from item 33 was used in the spring rolls. Dipping sauce kind of helped make it more flavorful. The lady who took my order was friendly. The service was great. Restaurant was clean and plenty of table for dine-in.

I came here after getting a massage right next door. I figured a bowl of pho would be perfect! Its a small shop in the corner of the plaza. It definitely did not have the hustle and bustle of pho restaurants in little Saigon, but I can appreciate the quietness. There were probably 4 other parties the 20 minutes I was here, which was an hour before closing. I ended up getting the seafood pho and a vietnamese iced coffee. My order came out in less than 3 minutes. I havent had pho for awhile. It's decent tasting considering its in orange. The squid is a bit too chewy and the veggie serving is skimpy. Iced coffee was okay too since I was pretty thirsty. The one worker here is nice and polite and we had a short conversation while I was paying. I wonder to myself why she doesn't work at busier restaurants for more tips. I paid about $22 for my meal including tips and was on my way. I do like that they have shrimp, seafood, tofu/vegan options for people who want to eat pho. Be aware though that their pho broth may still be made from beef so make sure you ask especially if you're ordering the vegan one.

We ordered egg roll and spring roll platters, they were excellent! The spring rolls tasted so yummy and were wrapped perfectly! I would definitely order from here again! They took my order in less than 24 hours and were so nice on the phone.

Arrived on a Monday night and were seated right away. With the high level of reviews, my expectations were higher than normal but even if I hadn't read reviews, I would have been disappointed anyway. General quality is basic or below basic. My combo pho had excellent rich broth but I can't stand when you order rare beef and then submerge it into the broth before they even serve it so it's completely dead on arrival. Not rare anymore. The extras were the smallest I've ever seen (see pic). Shrimp rolls and egg rolls pretty regular - if anything on the drier side and we had to ask for peanut sauce on the second order when they forgot to bring it out. Finally, the shrimp plate was terrible. Cold and clammy with hardly any seasoning. Did the chef call in sick? A second star is granted only because of the tasty broth and the nice, albeit forgetful, lady who served us. That's all.

At random hours, there can be tons of movement outside the restaurant. The food here?? Oh my gosh. I absolutely love that combination plate. I always order the combination meat with grilled chicken vermicelli noodles. I think this time I went was probably the best I've received! My boyfriend and I decided to try their fried rice because we constantly order the same thing here and in all honesty? It was delicious! They added a generous amount of beef to the dish. I honestly thought it was great. Their lemonade straight up tastes like lemons were truly used (we have a lemon tree and it reminds me of my dad's lemonade.) Highly recommend the food here. The environment here is so cozy. I absolutely love coming here at night because the interior is lit up by some string lights wrapping around the restaurant. Great family friendly spot and an excellent date spot. The service? It felt awkward coming in. The 3 people at the counter just stood there staring at us I'm like so do I just go pick a seat or something haha. Eventually the person who would be our actual server showed us to our table and was one of those "I'm here to get things done" kinda workers. Everything came out in an efficient manner and we were checked up on when necessary. No complaints here :) As always though, will definitely be coming back

She was attentive, warm, and genuinely great with my daughter. The one hiccup came when my daughter wanted to swap a meat option for steamed veggies in her pho. Daisy let us know the kitchen doesn't accommodate menu customizations, so we got creative and ordered everything on the side. It worked out, though it ended up costing about the same as a kids' pho for what amounted to a simple substitution. Outside of that, the experience was excellent, the restaurant was clean, the service was top-notch, and the menu had a solid variety to choose from. The lack of flexibility with customization is the only reason I'm not giving five stars, but I'd still recommend Mama Hong's without hesitation.

I was meeting my foodie friend there at 12:30. The parking lot has limited space, which made it an extra challenge to park. Thankfully I only had to circle the block once to come back and snag a spot. (Meanwhile, my friend got there before me and was already enjoying an appetizer). Orders are placed at the counter and they call your number once your food is ready. The dining room consists of mostly booth seating with one "communal" table, and counter seating with 5ish chairs. There are also a handful of tables set outside. I've really been enjoying banh mi and their Bulgogi beef sandwich sounded great. I also happen to have a thing for popcorn chicken, so I got an order of that to round out my lunch. Oh, and based on the rave reviews I've read about their peach & lychee green tea, I ordered one of those as well. Let me just say, lunch was very satisfying! The sandwich was generously filled the fresh ingredients and the meat to veggie ratio was perfect. I'm not sure what the green sauce was that they finished the sammie off with but it was SO tasty!! I requested the popcorn chicken with medium heat and it was just spicy enough to leave my tongue tingling slightly. My friend saved an egg roll for me and it was also really good. (The tea by the way was very refreshing.) Now, this was my first time here but I never saw anyone come out to check the dining room or wipe down the tables after the lunch rush. This was especially concerning to me because they had a guy doing work on the windows who put his feet/ shoes on the tables right under said windows. Ewww. But aside from the parking challenge and the table hygiene/cleanliness, our visit was quite enjoyable and the food was very good. We would definitely return, but we'll have to plan around the lunch rush!

I also got the Peach Lychee Green Tea, which was really refreshing and went perfectly with the food. Overall, I had a great experience and I'm already excited to come back and try more of the menu. I definitely want to try the crawfish pasta and bánh mì next time!
