It's definitely pho weather so we decided to try a new spot and we loved it! There's plenty of parking available in the lot. The restaurant itself is pretty small, but super cute and cozy inside. The servers are so sweet, welcoming, and quick! The food was absolutely delicious. I definitely recommend giving this place a try if you're in the area. We'll definitely be back! Small unassuming restaurant. But I'd have to say it's pretty decent! Plus, it's close to the house. I know Westminster is not that far away but the broth flavor here is legit. They also give a good amount of protein. Services standard, friendly, and fast. We did order like a dry vermicelli noodle dish and the lettuce they gave in there was a little different than what you get at a typical Vietnamese restaurant. Their portions are great in a sense of if you get a combination soup there's so much meat you would think you ordered double meat.. I'm just impressed with them. Their service is great small little place in Huntington Beach, but let me tell you so worth it and their prices are great. They're spring rolls. their fried egg rolls. With hardly any tables cleared from lunch and few patrons still in the remaining seats, i was directed to sit very close to some really loud asian business men discussing their business dealings. Tables that were open and away from that noise were taken up by single asian folks waiting on their "to go" orders even though there was a separate "to go" waiting area. The employees there could have directed their waiting "to go" people to wait in the "to go" waiting area or maybe the tables cluttered with lunch dishes could have been cleared to accommodate more customers, but that didnt seem to concern the existing help who were speaking very loudly behind the cooking area. I probably won't go back especially with their prices rivaling the Thai Restaurant prices that have been notoriously high but acceptable for Thai food. To see Vietnamese food prices skyrocket way over what they used to be just a year or so ago is very discouraging. We've been eyeing Pho Lab for a while because the reviews are so impressive and being in OC, we were on the hunt for the best pho in the area. Come to find out they have more than just pho, there are so many noodle and rice dish options too and they all look INCREDIBLE. So deciding what to get was a very difficult decision. We ended up getting a Pho Rib Bones and a Shaken Beef Garlic Noodle. Pho Rib Bones: Although not fall-off-the-bone tender (actually a bit tough in some areas), the pho was in fact delicious and I was impressed with how clear the broth was. The broth actually tasted like the beef had been stewing in it for hours, which now definitely makes me think the pho I've been having on the east coast has some extra stuff in it because it does not look this clear. Is it possible to have too much broth? I did have a decent amount of broth at the end after I had finished the noodle and meat, which makes me think either more noodle or less soup would have made it the perfect balance. I found the rib bones logistically a little hard to eat since I had to first cut the meat off the VERY large bones they give you with the bowl, but once you get the bones out of the way it is a very satisfying bowl of pho. Might try the brisket or meatball next time for easier eating. Shaken Beef Garlic Noodle: Now THIS meat was TENDER. And the green sauce on the side is a total game changer! We had the same dish at Vox Kitchen in Fountain Valley which I did not like because of the Maggi seasoning they used, but this didn't have that and it was so good. Would come back just for this dish. Crispy Pho Spring Rolls: Got this as an appetizer - loved the peanut sauce, wish there was more pork because my bites were mostly lettuce. Still very good though. Service was extremely fast with how quickly our food came out. Definitely want to come back and try some of their noodle or fish dishes. David's dad said he liked it better than his favorite pho place (and he lives here) so I thought that was a big compliment! read more

My friend got the brisket pho and couldn't stop raving about how tender the meat was. She said the brisket was melt-in-your-mouth soft and packed with flavor.
