Delicious! They nailed it in QUALITY QUANTITY and PRICE! Got take out but could feel the genuine and joyful SERVICE from everyone working there on pickup! The CHICKEN PHO had such great quality white meat and the side of VEGGIES I ordered was huge! With steamed versatile options such as mini corns, carrots, Bok choy, and broccoli! The broth was a bit on the plain side but it felt nourishing and I appreciated that it was not a salt overload! Delicious peanut sauce with the SPRING ROLL. Post celebratory anniversary massage lunch with the bf. We came in on a Saturday at around 2 and were promptly seated. There were people dining there so there was activity but not so much that you'd have to wait. Wait staff is friendly. Reason #264 why it's better not to be single: you get to order whatever you feel like eating when you go out instead of avoiding excessively garlicky dishes or finger foods. Tried this place out by the spa, instead of driving another 10 minutes to the motherland, by Westminster or Garden Grove. Spring rolls in Huntington Beach apparently means not including any of the Vietnamese things that go into the Vietnamese spring roll besides the spring roll wrap and protein. A normal spring roll has vermicelli, bean sprouts, basil and red or green leaf lettuce, lol. This Americanized place had straight chopped iceberg lettuce in the wrap. Slightly disappointing, but still good. Chicken wings came with garlic sauce and boooy was it garlicky just the way I like it. Good place with plenty of parking just not going to get spring rolls next time. read more

Hot outside, but I still wanted pho! I don't have a go to spot for pho because I like trying different places. This was my first time trying Pho Lab. Service was quick and easy. Ordered beef meatballs and chicken. Broth was tasty and didn't taste like heavy msg or too salty. The veggie toppings were good. Bean sprouts were a bit yellow, but that's fine. I don't like them much anyway. The noodles weren't the fresh noodles like some other restaurants I've had before. They weren't cooked thoroughly, so a bit tough in texture. Pho Lab is honestly the best. The staff are super friendly and make you feel right at home as soon as you walk in. Service is quick, but never rushed, and you can tell they actually care about their customers. The pho itself is incredible -- rich, flavorful broth, fresh ingredients, and perfect every time. The restaurant is small however it's cute decoration and very clean. Special PHO with fragrant, delicious beef ribs, tender beef. I went with my friend for lunch. We parked on the private lot, and walked in. Got greeted right away and told to choose where to sit. He brought us some menus and water. Came here for lunch and had pho special with extra rib, popcorn chicken and garlic noodle & filet mignon. The soup was savory and not oily, with a clean taste. Even at the end of the meal when it was cool it still had good flavor. There was a LOT of meat in the pho which was compounded with the extra rib we ordered, very good! But for me the best dish was the noodles w beef. The shaky beef was generous and so juicy tender, with perfectly cooked red & green peppers, just delicious! We were so surprised and impressed at this dish, honestly it was one of the best renditions of this dish we ever had and it's not even their feature dish! I would come here just for this, along with the excellent flavor the serving size is generous making this a fantastic dish! The popcorn chicken was OK, and the winter melon drink was a bit too sweet for our taste, but that can be personal taste. Overall Highly recommended, you won't regret a meal here. read more

Pho Lab I'm Huntington Beach is open till midnight which is a plus if you are looking for food and it is late. Never been here before but came with three people and it was a fun dinner. The place is small and every table was busy and full. We didn't have to wait long for the food at all. Service was quick and fast. The servers were also nice and have honestly better memory than I did when I was in college. Ordered two pho with different types of meat inside and also one garlic noodle with steak cubes. Solid 4.5 stars. Had the pho, house combo vermicelli, and a ribeye Vietnamese sandwich Pros: open late, staff speak English, modern vibes, playing R&B music over Dawsons Creek on the TV?!? Cons: grilled shrimp was bland and needs marinade before hitting the grill, the pho broth has a hint of lime in it already (my wife likes it though) Pho is solid and you can't go wrong. The vermicelli was packed full of veggies and was pretty filling even though I could use more noodles over veggies, family enjoyed the grilled pork. Ribeye sandwich was good, thought it was weird to have lettuce in a viet sandwich, could use a little more meat in it, green jalepeno sauce was good compliment. Pho lab is so good! Our server Tiffany was so so sweet and attentive. She chatted with us a bit and made us super comfortable. I got the pho with rib bones. The broth was flavorful and meat was good. I especially liked the addition of the greens in the soup and the pickled onions on the side that she offered. The eggrolls were also crispy and great. Recommend for the nice ambiance, servers, and food. read more

BEST Pho in town by a long shot! I come here about 1-2 times a week without fail. They always take good care of me and all their customers, you can tell how much they are loved by the amount of people who always fill the restaurant. Tons of regulars like me which also means they're doing something right! My go to is the Pho Ribeye with extra Rib Eye. Broth is flavorful and the portion is extremely generous, I break my pho into 3 portions most times. The owner is so kind and funny, I've gotten a chance to speak to him a few times and it's like chatting with an old friend. Located in the Walmart plaza next to in n out with plenty of parking. read more

This is one of my grandparents favorite local lunch go-to's for banh mi sandwiches -- my personal favorite, the pork banh mi, is very juicy and flavorful! I especially recommend dipping it in the sauce they give you, it provides a fresh, slight spice addition to the taste. The shop is small but it's clean and easy to find seating if you plan to eat there. Servers are very kind and patient, they even gave us water when we were waiting for a takeout order. read more

It was my first time here and the food quality was a big disappointment. I ordered the pho ribeye, the meat was so chewy it was hard to enjoy. I also ordered the chicken fried rice, which was mediocre. The chicken was dry and clearly overcooked. Given the number of stars this restaurant has, I expected much better. Pho Lab WOW! Grandmas first time having Vietnamese! We had the crispy eggrolls, a grilled pork banh mi sandwich, pho ribeye, pho oxtail and vermicelli grilled pork. We topped it off with Thai tea! The broth is so flavorful and delicious - in fact all the food is fabulous, you can't go wrong here. Grandma was beyond wowed and felt it was the most amazing meal she's had in a long time. 1,000,000/5 stars. Everything we ate was just absolutely amazing. The flavors from the sauce to the main entree were incredible. Definitely order the spring rolls to enjoy the peanut sauce. The best Pho I have had ever. Very flavorful and loved that it was all beef bone broth. Service was quick and staff was very polite. It's not a biggest pho place but it was well managed. We ordered the pho beef and it was wad of meat at the bottom of the bowl already in the broth when we received it. The soup was lukewarm warm when received from driver and the beef was over cooked and broth had no flavor. We were very disappointed!! Brought my mom and cousin here today for the first time and was not disappointed!! Celebrating the lunar new year and the service was fantastic as was the food. We had the ribeye pho, the shrimp and broccoli pho with chicken broth and the veggie pho with vegetarian broth. All were fantastic! The owner was attentive and extremely nice.
