When we walked in, there were only dirty tables available. The guy who greeted us pointed to one, we took a seat, and thankfully they cleaned it off pretty quickly. We looked around and saw that a couple that sat down after us got their order taken before we did. They got their waters and their "extras" (cilantro, bean sprouts, etc) as even before our order. Finally, they got to us and I ordered a small chicken pho. The boyfriend ordered a large tripe pho. Then we waited. And waited. Sure enough, the other couple got their pho before we did as well. Continued to wait. We were there about 40 minutes from when we sat down...until we got our BOWL of pho. As for taste, fairly standard, not bad, nothing that stood out. Prices were to be expected of typical pho. The waiter bounced back and forth a lot between tables, and looked very disorganized. My friend and i came across this place because of the great reviews. This is what we ordered. grilled pork bahn mi, summer roll, pho mignon, and brisket and tripe pho. the grilled pork bahn mi was so so....i probably would not order it again. we let it sit for like 5-10 mins and the bun got really chewy, not enough flavor in it for me. the summer roll was great and the sauce served with it was a little less sweet and thick than the traditional sauce. the pho mignon, my friend ordered and the meat was super tender. she rarely finishes the meat in her pho but i noticed she was savoring it. i loved my brisket and tripe pho. the tripe was thinly sliced...just the way i like it. and the brisket was nice and fatty, but not too fatty. with all four dishes, it came out to about $32 in total and thats including a 20% tip. service was great and the girls working were very friendly. i will definitely visit again. cant wait to try their other items on the menu. read more

We love to order there spring rolls to go, but wayyyy too often they do not answer their phones during open hours and when we have come inside to order them I have clearly seen there phone is unplugged, (purposely obviously) A couple of the younger male guy employees are nice, but female employees always seem to be in a very bad mood. Hands down, the best pho joint in Kirkland! Granted... that might not be saying much since there are less than a handful here. But still! I crave it at least once a week and usually order it to go. I've called in so many times that the waitresses recognize my voice. Occasionally I'll dine in and every time I do, the servers are incredibly sweet. The pho broth is tasty and the meat is always tender. Their spring rolls are delish..always fresh. They make good bubble tea as well! Thick and not watery like most places do. I don't mind the location but it's always really busy around dinner time because people are getting off work and traffic is usually a pain. The only negative thing I have to say is... I wish they were open a little later. But then again, I'm from Tacoma and all of the pho places there were open until 2 AM. Oh well! Ya win some, ya lose some. read more

So disappointing. We really wanted to like this restaurant because it was a favorite of family members several years ago--but after three tries, we won't go back. This is the best pho I've had in Seattle. The depth of the broth is fantastic. The broth is not overly sweet and has a rich deep beefy flavor. I had the filet mignon pho. I found the meat to not have as much flavor as I would like. I will have the brisket or flank next time. The server was very nice and even brought a small sample of complimentary ice cream for my daughter and myself. I will definitely be back here for my weekly pho fix. read more

I didn't think you'd be able to tell the difference between the filet mignon pho and regular pho, but you definitely can. I also love the spring rolls, the banh mi and the Special Hanoi Style Vermicelli. I would recommend trying all of those things. read more

Love this place. Don't know of any place better on the eastside for pho. Yeah no free cream puffs like at Pho Tan Bros but great pho. Better quality Vietnamese food than Pho Express. However, they need to work on training their staff and/or getting more staff to accommodate the volume of customers at lunch time. I felt really bad for their staff but it was clear that they needed more training. The staff often seemed confused about which order belongs to which table. An example that stands out in my mind is one particular time when I ordered a vermicelli bowl with grilled chicken. I think I must have gotten another customer's order because there was no vermicelli in my bowl. I asked the waiter about my order and the mistake was realized. It wasn't a big deal to me, so I asked him to bring me some vermicelli noodle (eg on the side). Instead, he decided to take the whole bowl back to the kitchen, presumably to be remade, because after 15 minutes had gone by, and my lunch hour dwindling, he still hadn't brought back my original lunch order. I've decided to just do take out now to avoid the hassles of dining in. read more

I love this place. My friend Natalie and I used to go to shari's every week until one night she said "You know, I'm in the mood for Pho. There's this sweet little place..." and we've been going there ever since. AMAZING food. The only reason it's 4 stars instead of 5 is because I have found the meat in the soup (not the sandwiches) to be dry, even between the beef or the chicken. But it still tastes good. I've eaten at a lot of Pho restaurants in the greater Seattle area, and although I've only been to Pho Mignon once, I think it's the best I've been to. I got their namesake, Pho with Filet Mignon in it, and it was the most tender, buttery cuts of meat I've had in a soup. I also got their Fresh Lemonade, which was indeed fresh--hand squeezed at the counter. Would recommend this place. read more

We took our in-laws to this Pho restaurant recently. The pho tasted average and the meat was much less than the other places we visited. When I asked for the bill, they didn't give me an itemized receipt, but the one with the final amount only, I quickly decided this is way more than I expected and asked for a receipt and there I saw an 18% gratuity was added without my knowledge. When asked the waitress why, she simply said "Because you have 6 guests on the table. We automatically charge 18% gratuity if there is 6 or more people dining on the table.". Hands down the BEST pho in the area! I always get the chicken pho and never had any issues. The most flavorful broth I've had and I never have to add much of the other things. I would not consider myself a pho conseur, but this place was pretty good. Of all the pho places in Seattle, this place had a Fillet Mignon as a pho meat. I figured why not? I ordered an large with extra noodles. The meat was tender and juicy. I ordered a lychee bubble tea afterwards (without the milk) and despite the fact that they don't have the boba sealer type, it was pretty good. I would definitely come back here more often. While the pricing of the pho was about average, this is a place that you get what you pay for. I'd heard so many complimentary comments about this place that my wife and I were eager to try it - just moved here. Upon entering we discovered it was crowded - a very good thing! So we went to the counter to review the menu. While my wife perused its content I observed a staff member creating what appeared to be a "take-out" order. I must admit I'm a "clean-freak" due to a salmonella experience with a restaurant. I watched her (without gloves at any time) use tongs to select sprouts and insert into a baggie. Didn't quite fit, so she used her bare hand to tuck them in. Proceeded to pick up an item off an adjacent counter, moved it to another counter, and returned to the developing order. This time she selected several lemon triangles bare handed, put them in the baggie and tucked them in. Quite neat. Quite unsanitary. I watched her put her hands on several surfaces, not all neat, and handle several foodstuffs. Concerned me. So I asked the gentleman at the register to mention my concern to her and he vigorously denied the possibility of it happening. Then the staff person did the same. I suggested they wash their hands more often and they were both seemingly offended. Then, coincidence of all, I observed my favorite Pho soup come out of the kitchen and asked the register person about it. Suddenly they were all out of chicken. I asked about another item and was informed they were all out of them also. My wife kicked my shin and I got the hint - don't make observations and mention it to anyone of responsibility in this restaurant. We left, my wife embarrassed, me miffed. Had I not been so surprised I would have videoed it but didn't. But I know what I watched for several minutes and am appalled. So I will be telling everyone I know or meet in my new neighborhood about the observation and subsequent experience. Good luck with that one. Only takes ONE CUSTOMER GETTING ILL to ruin a seemingly nice restaurant. Hey, I know you must support staff. But customer courtesy counts too. I'd rate this in the negative integers. read more

I've tried a lot of pho places since moving to the Seattle area. This is one of the best I've been to. Their service is speedy whether you are ordering in the restaurant or calling in takeout (usual wait time for takeout is about 15 minutes). Proportions are fairly large, and seem to be the same regardless of whether you are picking up or dining in. They also have an extra-large option for their pho, which is essentially twice the amount for twice the price. Do not order this if you are not exceptionally hungry, it is a lot of food. The food itself is flavorful, and the meat is always prepared well in my experience. The only negative thing I would say about Pho Mignon is that they often do not include very many peppers with their pho. I believe most fans of pho would agree with me that it is best when it is spicy. Their special combo sandwich is also quite good, albeit somewhat small. It makes a good addition to an order of pho, though. Their prices seem somewhat better than those of the other pho restaurants I've been to in the area. read more

Wow, just wow, where do I even start with my affinity for Pho Mignon??? I went here for the first time a week ago, then went the next 3 days in a row, I mean how could you not after trying their delicious Pho Mignon for the first time!???????? P1 on the menu (Pho Mignon) should stand for "Perfect One" because it is the perfect meal in every way. The flavor of the broth combined with the quality of the meat cannot be described accurately with any word that exists in Webster's dictionary. The service is outstanding, as they will make sure you are taken care of at all times. The speed at which your order is ready is literally faster than lightning. WOW, that is fast. The only bad thing about Pho Mignon is the amount of sleep I have lost staying up at night just thinking about when my next trip back to Pho Mignon will be. It's very hard not to think about the great taste and flavor. I really don't know which would be better, winning the lottery or winning a lifetime supply of Pho Mignon. Hmmmm that is tough but I think I would prefer winning a lifetime of Pho Mignon as I am sure I would end up spending more than the lottery jackpot would be just on Pho Mignon (not because of prices because their prices are outstanding, but because of the amount of times I plan to eat there). read more

i love vietnamese food. it's almost an unhealthy obsession, lol. we have just moved to the area and i feel very lucky that the 3rd place i tried was Pho Mignon- no need to keep looking, this is some of the best vietnamese cuisine in the seattle area and certainly is the top dog on the east side. the ingredients are fresh, all of the protein is high quality and they bring you some sorbet/ice cream with your check... most amazing spring rolls, actually rolled fresh to order. the pork bun is amazing, and i've had a hard time ordering anything else for myself, but when i have branched out or i snag a bite of whatever my fiancé has ordered i am never disappointed. i haven't tried the bubble tea myself yet but i see people coming in and grabbing one to go while i'm eating, so it seems to be quite the hit, too. i think that the prices are super reasonable for the food quality and the nice, clean atmosphere... i would give 5 stars but the service is a little hit or miss... the last time we were in there was a mix up on our order that resulted in us waiting around for quite a while for it to be corrected (it's happened a few times), but it's my only complaint. don't miss out! read more
